APPEARANCE: Black with a white flame marking on forehead, tail tip and chest.
ANYTHING ELSE: Tail severely scarred, now a weak spot.

"It's possible that a group or family of mature foxes are just looking for a bigger den, or better hunting grounds", he thought, methodically cleaning his ears and chest.
