"Luxio, try and dodge!" Ray called.
Luxio tried to get out of the way, but it was too slow, and ended up getting hit by the flamethrower. "Lux!" The singed Luxio tried to get up but couldnt...and then the shadow ball hit and Luxio fainted.
"Luxio! Luxio, return!" Ray pulled out Luxio's Pokeball and Luxio went inside.
"I'm coming!" Oakpaw said to Cherrypaw as he ran to go find some moss.
Treeheart stared after his son, "Be careful!" He called, unsure whether Oakpaw heard him or not. He turned to Birdstar, "Of course."
Treeheart began to work on the warriors den.
Oakpaw sniffed around for some moss.
Ray held Luxio's and Magneton's Pokeball, "You both did great..." He whispered. Putting the Pokeballs back in his pocket, he looked at Lea and Hope and then at their Pokemon, "You all did really great," He said.
Oakpaw came over by Cherrypaw, "Great," He started to pull some moss off of the tree. When he got a mouthful of moss, he dropped it and held it down with one paw. "Do you think this will be enough?"
"Oh, yes, of course." He goes up to Lea and Hope and holds two badges that are shaped like a lightning bolt. "Here, as a reward for defeating me, I present you with the Lightning Badge."
"Then, lets go back." Oakpaw grabbed his wad of moss and started to go back to camp, looking back to make sure Cherrypaw was coming.
OOC: Probably after everyone battles...like when their about to leave the city
IC: Ray gave Lea and Hope the badges and then looked at Jayce, "I guess you're my next challenge. But we must wait for your partner," He looked around for Crystal.
OOC: Yes, she is. Jayce is her partner
IC: Ray finally spotted Crystal, "Ah, there you are. Are you ready to battle against me?" He asked.
"Okay," Ray said, getting ready. "Like I said before, you may only use one pokemon for each of you. You could substitute any of your Pokemon, but if one faints, then you can't use another one." He looked at Jayce, and then at Crystal. Slowly, he pulled out two Pokeballs, "Ok, Pikachu, Raichu, its your turn!" he threw the Pokeballs.
A Pikachu popped out of the first one, "Pika!" The Pikachu said happily.
A Raichu popped out of the second Pokeball and stood, like a giant, next to Pikachu. "Raichu!"
Oakpaw dropped the moss in a pile, and then followed Cherrypaw as she went over to Sugarpaw and Heatherpaw.
Oakpaw watched the fighting with interest. Unsheathing his claws, he crouched down and looked as if he was going to join in the fight.
"Don't even think about it!" Treeheart came up behind Oakpaw and gave him a glare. He turned to the two fighting apprentices, "Hey! Knock it off, you two! You shouldn't be fighting!"
"You may make the first move," Ray said.
Raichu looked like it was ready to battle. Pikachu, however, looked like its ready to play, not battle. It happily jumped up and down as it looked at Gardevoir and Scyther, "Pika!"
"Raichu, use Iron Tail! Knock away those Shadow Balls!" Ray ordered. "Pikachu, jump and use Thunderbolt!"
"Raichu!" Raichu's long tail began to glow white and, turning around, it knocked all the Shadow Balls away, one by one.
"Pikachu!" Still smiling, Pikachu jumped into the air and did a Thunderbolt, aiming to hit Scyther.
Oakpaw couldn't believe what Sugarpaw said at first. Heatherpaw having a crush on him? It couldn't be true. He doesn't even like her...that way. The only cat he did like is Cherrypaw. But he knew that Cherrypaw could never like him, could she? Oakpaw shook away the thoughts and decided to go out hunting. Suddenly, he heard a noise. A noise that sounds like...like fighting! Quickly, Oakpaw ran to where he heard to the noise. When he got to where Rossettetail was, he saw the fox running off. "Aw, I missed it?" He whined. He was looking foward to a good fight. Then he noticed Heatherpaw with a gasp, and ran by her side.
"Pi!" Pikachu was hit by the X-Scissor and fell to the ground. Pikachu got back up with no trouble at all, but it was not in its playful mood anymore. Its ears stood straight up and sparks flew out of its red cheeks. "Pikachu!" Pikachu said in an angry tone.
"Pikachu, use Double Team!" Ray said.
"Pika!" With eyes narrowed, Pikachu used Double Team. It split into many Pikachu's, all at once. "Pika! Pika! Pika!" The Pikachu's surrounded Scyther.
Oakpaw looked at Sugarpaw and nodded. Gently, he grabbed Heatherpaw by the scruff of her neck and slowly began to drag her back to camp.
"Rai..." Raichu was hit with Psychic, and couldn't move. Then it was hit by Shadow Ball. Raichu was dizzy for several moments, but that didn't stop it. Still a little wobbly, it still stood and faced Gardevoir.
"Raichu, use Iron Tail again!" Then Ray focused on Pikachu and saw that Scyther could also use Double Team. "Pikachu, Agility!"
Raichu did as Ray told and aimed for Gardevoir.
All Pikachu's began to use Agility, dodging the Aerial Ace's.
"I must admit, your Scyther is pretty fast." Ray commented. "But my Pikachu is also fast."
Raichu's Iron Tail was interrupted as it was hit with Night Slash. "Rai! Rai!" Raichu's tail lashed from side to side as it glared at Scyther.
"Raichu, ignore Scyther and use Thunder on Gardevoir!" Ray said.
Raichu turned away and fired a Thunder at Gardevoir.
"Pikachu, follow Scyther by using Quick Attack!"
"Chu!" All the Pikachu's had disappeared, leaving only one Pikachu. Pikachu began to glow white as it bolted toward Scyther.
"Yeah, sure." Oakpaw said. "Me and Cherrypaw fetched some fresh moss earlier, but I dont know if Birdstar wants it for something else."
