Paris looked around her dorm. Lana was perched on her bed. It was great that they were both half human half bird because then they could relate to each other. Paris flapped her sleepy wings to warm them up and get them moving.

Aurora put on her ear muffs and stuffed her hat in her bag. She wanted to make sure her ears are hidden in human school. Then she put on a longer skirt to hide her bushy fox tail.

Ruxin entered human school with a beanie on his head to hide his wolf ears and had trousers on big enough to hide his tail. Trying to ignore the other humans he walked through the corridors.

jackalflicker wandered the silent woods, trying to find some source of food of water just to help him. He dragged his paws along the floor scratched his paws but the pain had long gone. Stiffening he tried to listen for any sounds of movement but heard nothing, nothing. Everything was turning dizzy, his throat and mouth felt like sand; dry and parched. His belly was beyond rumbling for food. The last thing he saw was the ground coming towards him quickly.

Jackalflicker opened his eyes for a moment to see and adult cat watching him and a younger cat running back along the trail. He moaned as he remembered his empty belly and his hunger ate him away. He tried to sit up but dizziness made him flop back down again with a thump.
