Lilian was dirty and grimy from her trudge back to camp. She wiped the dirt off her clothes and sighed.
I probably came here at a bad time , she thought, rubbing the hilt of her dagger. This place is in more trouble than it looks, and I haven't been claimed yet.. ,
She sighed. She was disturbed inside still, and it hadn' t lifted since.

    (gtg to school)

Lilian stroked the leaves out of her hair. She turned to see something blur at the edge of her vision. She looked around. A huge shadow loomed over her, but nothing was there.
She stood up, clutching her dagger.
The shadow lunged at her. The area was eerliy getting darker and patches of sunlight faded. She slashed at the twilight dazed, but it did nothing. She trembled a bit, her dagger transforming into a shield.

It was growing steadily darker and darker. Her was heart thumping faster and faster. More shadows seemed to pop up from around her, swiftly spinning. She rammed with the shield into them.

(Don't be mad at me if I don't respond. I just have a lot of things to do.)

(Finally! But I can probably post only two.. I have a science test tomorrow.)

Lilian stumbled and fell, with the shadows scattering. They reformed back, ready to take aim. Her shield morphed into a sword. She tried slashing at it with her own shadow, hoping that would work. Fortunately it did. The shadow staggered backwards, and she kept on slicing at the air.

    (Hehe XD) ( ??? )

Lilian swiped at it until the shadow faded from sight. She turned around, looking for the other ones. But they already melted into the forest.

She panted, plopping down on the cool hard boulder. The leaves slightly churned by the spinning air.
"Is this a prank or something?" she called out loud.
She thought she heard distant voices, but told herself it was just probably the wind. The place seemed to brighten up again, with beams of sunlight touching her face.
Not expecting an answer, she closed her eyes.

She heard laughter ring from the trees. She sat up, eyes round.
"Just a bit too jumpy," she said to herself, and laid down again staring into space.

Lilian dreamt of huge shadowy spiders crawling all around her. She screamed, scooting backwards. Her hand slipped, making bits of rock tumble down into blackness. She was at the edge of a cliff, spiders surrounding her. She frantically dug in her pocket, but there was no trace of her life-saving dagger.

Soon.. Soon you will be under my will, a deep rumbling, powerful voice said, laughing.

She woke up with a start, bleary eyed and groggy.

"Just a dream," she whispered. "Just a dumb dream."
She pounded her fist on the boulder. Pain coursed through her hand, and she shook it wincing.
She heard laughter again, with the trees standing still.

Is someone out there? , she wondered.

( My friend reads Eragon. He's read all the books, but he's moving to another school this year. :( )

Lilian listened, but heard nothing. She shook her head.
"By the time I stay here long enough, I'd have gone mad." she grumbled, making sure her dagger was securely in her pocket. She sighed heavily, walking slowly past trees and more trees, with the dry brown leaves crunching beneath her. She slumped down near the edge of camp, trying to clear images from her mind.

"So this is a normal day at camp.." Lilian rubbed the hilt of her dagger. It elongated into a sword, and she planted it in the ground. It morphed into a shield in protest.
She looked to the infirmary, seeing that there was probably commotion going on. She looked to the lake far away, her eyes clouded with sleepiness.

"Just a short nap.." she said, and closed her eyes again.

Lilian looked at Helia carry Warseer away to to the Hermes cabin. She then looked to Zerian.
Why is Zerian acting this way? , she thought and frowned. He had surely didn't mean what he was saying! She watched him through narrowed eyes suspiciously, holding her dagger tighter.

    ( gtg to school..

    tomorrow is a Friday! :D )

(Zerian was corrupted, and some random Hermes kid took Warseer away. Crystal and Xavier are threatening him, while I'm stalking him from a distance. ;) )

Lilian carefully picked up a vaccine and pocketed it. She strode out of the infirmary and took off her cap. She stalked Zerian from a distance since she had nothing else to do.
