[align=center][font=arial][color=white]Carrier dipped his head, green oculars focusing on the brown tabby. He seemed quite pleasant, and Carrier of Broken Dreams was quite excited that the influx of joinees was on the rise! "Welcome to the Tribe of Burning Eclipse," he murmured, dipping his head towards the tomcat.

[align=center][font=arial][color=white]Carrier returned from a lone hunting expedition, the deputy leaving his kills near the pile of older food. He silently reminded himself that the food should be eaten soon as not to spoil-- but for now, he decided that something had to have happened considering the commotion in camp. "What's going on?" the grey tom inquired gently, increasing his pace slightly to catch up with Noctus and the unfamiliar new cat.
-
[align=center][font=arial][color=white]Carrier nodded in agreement, the grey and white tomcat bowing his head. "Chip was a good cat," he murmured, green eyes flickering from tribemate to tribemate. "I hadn't seen him around lately, however, and the tribe does come first." The deputy raised his head slightly, eyeing Cloud with a peculiar look upon his angular face.

[align=center][font=arial][color=white]track ; this is looking great!

[align=center][font=arial][color=white]Smiling, the grey tomcat's green oculars shone in the morning sunlight. Particles of dust waltzed lazing through the beams of light, giving the morning a lazy, acid-triplike feeling. It felt nice, just sunning himself. He had had little rest since becoming deputy, but a break really did feel quite nice! "My apprentice is training to become a tunnel guard," Carrier murmured happily, adjusting his gaze to focus on the young wildcat. [b]"I trained to become a prey-hunter, but in all honesty I felt as if it never suited me-- I just felt kind of vulnerable, like I wasn't as fit to fight as everyone else, you know? I later trained to become better in fights... there's still cats that are much more talented at such things than me, but I would say that I'm decent nevertheless."

[align=center][font=arial][color=white]Carrier dipped his head to the newly named she-cat, silently instructing her that she could take her seat once more. It gave him great pride performing these ceremonies, considering that they were some of his first he had ever carried on. Of course, he had seen them performed by many a leader or a deputy, but there was something... different about hearing the sacred words come out of his own mouth.
-
[align=center][font=arial][color=white]Remaining silent, Carrier looked up at Shadowwalker; blinking his pale green oculars and dipping his head cautiously. The council members had been doing quite an exemplary job of accepting new members and driving out rogues, no doubt, but he supposed the his leader did have a point. He had heard some talk of a Halloween Event, but it had never been directly brought up. Perhaps it was slightly difficult for the council members to get in touch with him and Shadowwalker as a group. "It's feasible that the council members may not have a time to present their ideas to us, no?" the wiry deputy inquired, looking up at the leader for confirmation. "Would it be more accessible for all of us if we have dates where we can all meet up in a rather formal fashion? It would also be a way for us to concieve who is being active and useful to the tribe without arduous roundabouts."
ooc )) i'm pretty sure that wasn't carrier, ollie (^8

[align=center][font=arial][color=white]"We weren't certain if there were any internal injuries," the deputy explained, watching the jaguar check the small cub for any signs of fatigue or injury. [b]"I thought that if we carried her, more damage may be done. After all, she's out here all alone and at such a fragile age."
-
[align=center][font=arial][color=white]Confirming the information that Noctus stated, the grey tom nodded in validation. His stiff frame was shaking in fury, and he couldn't help but glare at the bloody heap with fury upon his white-flecked maw. "We think that some form of torture would be a formidable punishment for such crimes," he droned, voice wavering slightly at the sight of the acrimony before him. [b]"He says he has killed over twenty creatures in total from different clans."
-
[align=center][font=arial][color=white]Carrier's eyes were widened in shock, staring at the shock-ridden body of the to-be before him. Opening his mouth, nothing came out of the deputy's age-speckled maw. Though he knew Noctus was a strong healer and could hold his own, the grey tomcat had a bad feeling about Panther's outcome. Even the senior tomcat, without a drop of knowledge about healing, knew that those burns were very serious. Lava was not a thing to be messed with, and surely she now knew this.
-
[align=center][font=arial][color=white]"Ah," the slate grey tomcat replied, flicking his tail in greetings as he saw Cloud approach Noctus and himself. [b]"Wounds aren't too serious? If she's interested in joining, it would be great to get her back on her feet and on some patrols so she can begin to learn the territory as soon as possible."
-
[align=center][font=arial][color=white]Narrowing his eyes, Carrier eyed the young creme cameo suspiciously. "A thief, eh?" he meowed, pale green oculars shining in the heavy lighting of the clearing Sage had caught himself in. [b]"What sort of things do you steal, Sage? The majority of us aren't armed with anything but our teeth and claws, anyways."

[align=center][font=arial][color=white]"Cloud, I think she's good now," the deputy mewed humourously to the younger cat, nudging his head a bit closer to the injured cat of whom Noctus was carrying. Her injuries didn't look too horrible-- hopefully she could be back up on her feet soon.
-
[align=center][font=arial][color=white]Exhaling heavily, Carrier blinked his pale green optics and focused on the tomcat. "Very well. We don't mind if you steal from our enemies, however," the deputy meowed, a hint of humor in his thick drawling accent. Straightening up, the angular longhair was poised to speak. Authority had taken over his senior body, as if to wash away the years from his thin face.
"Sage," the tomcat meowed, [b]"do you promise to abide to our laws and ways, and protect EclipseTribe and our cats with your life?" -
[align=center][font=arial][color=white]The deputy sighed, long grey tail drumming on the hard forest floor. Carrier had already sent the border and hunting patrols out this morning, though he had decided not to lead one today. For some odd reason, something seemed awry at camp today. But whatever could it be? The queens seemed fine, the apprentices seemed healthy and amiable, the prey-hunters and tunnel-gueards strong as ever. Council members seemed to be doing their jobs, Noctus and Bonafide were kept busy gathering herbs for the coming winter. Even Shadowwalker seemed relaxed, despite his tedious job. So whatever was the matter?
Then it hit him. Spectrumkit. He hadn't seen her in roughly a day, but normally the small she-kit would be jubilantly bouncing around EclipseTribe camp at this time of day. Yet... she was nowhere to be seen.
-
[align=center][font=arial][color=white]"I'm not sure," Carrier mewed faintly, cold terror flooding through him like ice. [b]"Can you pick up any scent?"
-
[align=center][font=arial][color=white]@hattrick: oh, wow. that sounds like a lot of extra work as opposed to us exams?? i'm not sure about the uk but just
wowowoRory : no, i'm fine with whatever. (8 any particular plots you would want?
-
[align=center][font=arial][color=white]Refraining from snapping at the arrogant cat, the deputy instead smiled bitterly. Had he made a mistake letting Sage join? He still had a sneaking suspicion that the cream cameo might be up to no good. Exchanging glanes with Augustus and Standstill, Carrier turned back to the rogue.
No, Sage had taken the oath. Whatever common decency he had was now in EclipseTribe, and the deputy silently decided to watch the tom while he spent his time here. Perhaps he really did want to join, after all.
"Welcome as a member of the Tribe of Burning Eclipse," the grey tom meowed in a thick drawl, flicking his white-tipped tail.
