A white she-cat ran like the wind while carrying a small white kit
The kit mewled as she ran
Dogs were barking and chasing her
The white she-cat placed her kit in the shelter of ferns"Stay here"she told the kit gently
The kit looked at her mother"Ok"she squeaked
The she-cat heard the barking come closer and she dashed off
Soon a bone chilling yowl went through the forest
The kit shivered and crouched down,shrinking

That was very close to where the gathering was so some cats HAD to have heard it -
