Shadepaw stiffened. She hadn't caught that scent when the she-cat first came , but, now it was as fresh as recently caught prey. The revolting smell of death. Clearing her throat, she let a growl escape her gritted teeth,"May I ask about your... um... scent?" She took short breaths in dumb attempts to keep the scent from reaching her.

Sarena spun around and raced after her. Her chest heaved as she scrambeled at the hard cement that tore up her pads at each step. But she was determined, nothing could stop her. The german sheaprd husky mix was at Sakira's side now but panting heavily, her salmon pink tongue flapping in the breeze."Sorry about earlier. I was hungry. Still am, kinda, to be honest," she huffed. Now was not the time for apologies, Sarena knew that, but chances were she would never see this dog again and she had owed her one for saving her life.
-
Shire leaned closer to the tiny kit and smiled."You sure about that?' he chuckeled and lifted a paw, aiming to pin the kit down.
-
Shadepaw gave a quizzical look and her ears twitched in suspicion."Rats," the apprentice's whiskers twitched,"I didn't know rats had such a strong ThunderClan scent." The ThunderClan scent had just reached her nose and was growing more distinct to her than the thick stench of death that hung in the air with every heart beat.
-
Shire lashed out, claws extended."No!" he screeched. The massive tabby tom loomed over the kit, teeth bared.
-
Sarena's eyes lit up as a rusted trash can came into view. Broken pipes and rocks lined the outside of it and inside lay a few ragged blankets. Slowing to a walk, she crawled into the can.
-
Shire aimed to grab the kit by the scruff."Come with me and you may survive to find out," the tom's teeth curled in a vicious smile.
-
"Fine by me. Not often I see a dog that's not like most of the jerks who come around here," Sarena sighed and rested her head on one of the dusty blankets.
-
Shire carried the kit through the twining path to the BoneClan camp.
-
"Um... and do you think we would falll for that? You might slit our throats in our sleep or something," a growl rose from Sarena's throat.
-
Shire ignored the kits question. Veering side-ways he began to climb a steep rocky slope to the camp. Then he halted, his head spinning around, his eyes narrowed to slits as a small kit caught his eye. Snakekit was its name, even though Shire wouldn t know that.
Growling under his breath, her loped over to the kit.
-
Ooc: I entered and thought I was threatening your kit then she replied lol So I got confused.
-
Shire just glared at the kit. He didn't find a need for a vocalized message, especially to a tiny kit. The brown tabby eyes glinted in the light that shot through the forest canopy, dark and menacing.

"You would be better off not flapping your gums," He hissed; black lips peeling back to reveal large ivory teeth inbetween where he grasped the other kit's scruff. Dumb kit! He charged forward and lashed both forepaws out at the ShadowClan kitten.
-
"What's a druggie?" Sarena tilted her head. She knew little of human terms and even less of the things they used. She shook her head."What ever that means I guess it's bad so I'll be off," the german sheapard and husky mix grumbeled, her blue eyes poised on the rain clouds.
-
Sarena looked at Sakira for her opinion. She didn't want to make the final decision.
-
"To teach you not to ask questions," Shire gave one muffeled hiss; his tail thrashing. He lashed out again, hoping to hit the kit with a well-aimed blow to the head. A knocked out kit would be easier to haul to camp along with its sister-- who at any moment, he knew, would began struggling out of his grip.

Ayaka looked over the land scape, her memory taking in every rock and crevice. She needed an escape plan if she were to see her den again, because she sure as heck wasn't staying at this place. Suddenly, movement caught her eye, something more of a shadow then an actual three-deminsional figure. Curiosity bubbeled inside of her and she squinted her eyes to catch the faintest trace of fur.
It was gone. Sighing, she layed her head back on her paws and let her eyes droop lazily. It was probably just a clan cat anyways; nothing the large savannah should've been wasting time over. After all, she had more important things to worry about.

Shadepaw was too concerned with Nighthowl to notice a rabbit being placed in the fresh-kill pile. She spun around as Willowcry barged into the conversation."Nighthowl claims that she was fighting rats but her scent is clearly ThunderClan," the apprentice explained, her face wrinkling in obvious disgust,"I fear betrayal."
