"Way ahead of ya..." He stood up, and headed inside behind Alex.

He followed her to the basement, unsure of why they go to the basement.

"Good point..." He looked around, having to hunch over to avoid the ceiling.

His night vision activated and he saw the light switch, a little ways behind Alex. "You're close to it, a little to the left."

"No, don't say that... Your pistol always more important than your rifle!" Kozak said over the noise from his Striker.

"You're close, just a little more." He watched her, smiling as she blundered around in the dark.

"Hello there... I meant your other left." He laughed as he turned on the light.

"I try to be." He grinned as he sat on the floor.

"I follow my own creed; The pistol is your last line of defense." He shrugged as he took cover and started to reload.

(Last post on this from me until tomorrow, Ashlee, you're in charge of when the helicopter shows up and when the airstrike hits.)

"What about it....?" He asked quietly, tentatively.

"I'm... I... What?" He asked as she pecked him on the cheek.

"...." Alex stood there as she did so, unsure of how to respond to this.

"....." He shrugs, "I couldn't explain it to you if I tried... I guess it's because you stayed by my side, even after I... You know...?"

"It shows that you care..." He locks eyes with her, a ghost of a smile on his lips.

After reloading Kozak popped up, firing on the trucks until one of them exploded.

He continued to sit where he was, watching her. "To what extant would that be?"

"Speak for yourselves, this days gonna fly by!" Kozak said aloud as he opened fire on another truck.

"Yet by helping me... You do show affection... In a subtle way..." He shrugged as he curled up on the ground, laying there with his back turned to her.

"It packs a stronger punch, that's for damn sure!"

He remains silent, shifting around a bit as his ears flatten.
