As she watched Violetkit cry, Larkkit was reminded of the sorrow she had felt after her own death.

"Sometimes bad stuff happens. I don't know why but it does. You've just got to try your best to accept it" Larkkit tried to sound reasurring, "and I will do my best to help you!"

Root put the squirrel down again, "My name is Root, and you are?"

"Oh, here and there" Root replied. He wasn't really sure of where he came from but it didn't bother him, he was happy as long as he knew where he was going.

Root tipped his head to the side, then a smirk appeared on his face. He took a deep breath, "I am happy about it. I am alone. This land is not mine. You are correct, I am not from a clan nor a group so it stands to reason that I would be loner." He moved his head closer to Ravenshade's, "But I'm guessing that you are not."

Root leaned back, the tom's hostility did not bother him. "Not at all" he meowed.

Root looked down at the squirrel by his paws, back at the tom and then turned his head to the bushes behind him, "I found it running around the roots of a fallen oak tree, past those bushes." He turned towards Ravenshade, realising how tired he looked. "You can have some if you like" he offered.

Root had already eaten his prey. He began to groom his chocolate fur.

"Ok!" Ivypaw meowed.

Ivypaw looked up to see the tom enter the den, "Hello?"

Wrenstorm looked up from cleaning her paw, "Hey Rainclaw!"

Wrenstorm stood up and stretched, "I'll join you, I haven't been on a patrol in ages."

Wrenstorm leapt at a frog, making sure to kill it before it could get away.

Rosewing padded into the warriors' den feeling bored. She spotted Swiftcloud and walked over to where the she-cat was. "Hi Swiftcloud" she meowed, sitting down next to her.

Wrenstorm looked at the rabbit, "Think you might have gone a little over board?" she asked, glancing at Rainclaw.

"Hey Swiftstorm, Firekit" Rosewing smiled.

Blackear padded up to Tigerstorm and smiled, "Hey Tigerstorm, how's it going?"

"I'd love to" he replied.

Blackear looked at Tigerstorm, he couldn't help but think how pretty she looked. Unfortunatly, he didn't notice that he was staring at the she-cat.

Blackear shook himself out of his thoughts and stood up. "Sounds like a good idea to me" he answered.
