Can I get a mentor and when do I start??

Hello! My name is Mousepaw and I am really excited to start training, the only problem is I need a mentor. I am totally white so I need a determined mentor. (I am at least small.)

The little white apprentice sat outside the camp watching the fish swimming in the slow moving stream. She wished she knew how to catch them. 'If only I had a mentor' Mousepaw thought. A little sigh escaped from her thoughts into reality.

A young apprentice was padding by when she saw them. She was a little curious seeing them out in the open. She rushed back to the camp and told one of the senior warriors what she saw. He followed her back. When they got there, the cat lifted her head to see them.

The small apprentice looked up at the cat that towered over her. "Really... Would you want to be a mentor? Maybe mine?" Excitement swelled in Mousepaw's little chest, finally she would train and fight and learn to be a real WARRIOR!!!!

"Hey! There you are! I just wanted to say that I should not have scared you away. I thought that you might want to come to the HawkClan camp." Mousepaw paused and when she only got a stare in return, continued, "I know that HawkClan offers great protection and food and friends to queens, warriors, apprentices and especially kits and elders. Maybe I could bring you there..." Mousepaw looked down and knew that she should not have come.

Mousepaw was happy enough to fly across the earth (and back of course)! She looked up at Tangleclaw, her new mentor, and said "THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!" bounding up and down. Then she jercked her head around to see the new comer. Embarassement flooded through her as she realised that the warrior had seen her act like a kit.

"(sigh of releif) Thanks! And hey!" Mousepaw tries to swipe back but falls over and misses. "I guess thats what I've got you for Tangleclaw!" Mousepaw looked back at her mentor and giggled.

"I am not afraid but I would NEVER do anything like that to Tangleclaw! That would be mean! I would not mind putting thistles in your nest though." I laughed at her. But how could she say that in front of Tangleclaw!
