Shadowpaw padded after Aspenpaw, keeping to the shadows.

Shadowpaw followed cautiously.

"Okay." Shadowpaw climbed swiftly up a tree, a squirrel catching her eye.

Shadowpaw climbed carefully and quietly until she was above the squirrel.

Shadowpaw crept along a skinny branch until she was right above the squirrel. Then she dropped, landing squarely on its back and killing it with a bite.

Shadowpaw scampered down the tree with the squirrel. "Thanks!" she purred.

Shadowpaw ate part of the squirrel. "Do you want the rest of this?" she asked?

Shadowpaw shrugged, then gulped it down.

"Aspenpaw!" Shadowpaw ran up to her.

Shadowpaw sank her teeth into the branch, helping tawnypaw.

Shadowpaw hauled at the branch desperately.

"Aspenpaw are you okay?" Shadowpaw asked. "Please be okay!"

"HELP!!!! SOMEBODY HELP!" Shadowpaw screeched as loud as she could.

"She's going to be okay, isn't she?" Shadowpaw asked.

Shadowpaw suddenly burst out of the trees. "Aspenpaw!" she called. "Let me help you!"

"What on earth are you doing?!" Shadowpaw exclaimed, supporting Aspenpaw on her shoulder.

Shadowpaw helped her friend into a dry spot at the base of a tree. "Do you want me to go and find some moss?" she asked.
