"Of course. 'Cause gettin' high on catnip is fun," Strider retorted sarcastically, leaning down and resting her head on the grass. Lifting a paw, Strider unsheathed her pretty sharp claws, ripping at the leather strapped around her neck. She wanted it off. It was getting tight and uncomfortable, and reminded her of the life she just left.

    "Lighten uuup, Strider, girl..."
Mewled the black and white she-cat, who was lounging on her side.

Tash managed a smile, but something else was distracting him. He smelled the dog in the distance, but then realized it was not heading towards the two of them again. That made him sigh in relief. "I'm called Tash. It's a pleasure to meet you," Mewed the tom politely. He was usually well-mannered to strangers or those he didn't know very well, if they didn't look or act like a menace. The tabby had a fairly good judgment, and knew that Shock of Envy was not a danger.

"Oh, and I'll go catch something really quick."

And off he went. He disappeared into the trees and thick undergrowth behind the tree that Envy had originally been trapped on. Breathing in the air swirling all around him, he got a taste of what was here: a mouse, a few birds, and a squirrel. A bird and a squirrel should suffice, he guessed. Traveling quickly to the high branches of the treetops, he leaped a time or two, catching a bird in mid-flight. Once he landed, his hazel eyes searched for the squirrel. Once he spotted it, in swift movements he slashed it onto the ground below.

He returned about 10 minutes after he had left, carrying the bird and squirrel in his mouth. Tash dropped them in the grass and flashed her a smile that was sheepish. "I didn't take too long, did I?"

ooc; So they're a moon old now? If I'm wrong I'll just edit my post.

The cream tabby let out a startled mewl, jumping to her feet. With her hackles raised, Natli scampered over to Dip's brother, circling him suspiciously.
"Meh, Weird-o Blob's gotsa friend..." She breathed, eyes narrowed.

"So what?" Strider replied flatly, eyes narrowed and staring at the tom. "And don't call me 'babe'!" The tabby added, flopping down on the grass so that her back was facing the others. She was so different from the others, from her appearance to her personality.

Aphrodite just sighed lightly and smiled at the serval, before continuing to roll around in the leaves of catnip. "Hey, Stridester, you really need to join in on the nip."

"I don't want to, you idiot. So stop telling me to before I claw your ears off,"
She responded sharply and somewhat harshly. Strider knew that she didn't need to be acting so mean, but something was sending her into a bad-mood. The problem was, she didn't know what. Was it Brody? Her sister?

The brown tabby thanked him with a grin and a flicker in his eyes. This was great; Lionpaw was an experienced apprentice, very close to becoming a warrior. With his aid he could fly through the basics, so he could spend more time on the more difficult fighting moves and hunting techniques. He would become much better a warrior than his horrible father, so he could protect his family.

Finally opening his mouth to reply, the large tom began, "Deal. I'm due to become an apprentice sometime soon. Maybe with some luck you'd become my mentor."

Natli backed away from Dip and her brother, watching as Goldenkit approached her then excitedly began a conversation. Her ears pulled back and a frown slid onto her face. Why was he spending so much time with the Weird-o Blob? Goldenkit was the only sibling she seemed to get along with, and he was the only one she tolerated. Letting out her signature sharp meow, the cream tabby's eyes narrowed. She leaped towards Dip and tried climbing onto the she-cats head, staring down at her brother from where she was perched.

"Goldenkit," She complained, "Stop talking to Dip so much and play with me!"

The kit basically ignored Asopus for the most part, as Goldenkit didn't seem so distracted by him.

ooc; Hakuna Matata, no worries. =)

Tash simply nodded as she thanked him, watching her as she leaned down to bite into the bird. His ears flicked upwards to the sound of her stomach. She sounded pretty famished from what he could tell. He could do without eating for a while, so waited for Envy to finish the bird to see if she was still hungry. If she was, he would give her the small squirrel, then grab a mouse or something later.

Small, sleek black cat. Dioxin has more muscles than his sister, as they ripple beneath his pelt when he moves. His long, razor-like claws rarely go sheathed and are dipped in crushed nightshade whenever he goes to battle, giving them a reddish tint. His pelt is short and black as the darkest shadow, with a few battle scars here and there. There is a v-shaped nick in one of his ears and an x-shaped scar on his face, near his eye. Around his neck is a black spiked collar. His eyes are narrow and snake-like, having an eerie yellow color and pupils that are nearly always slits.

    p e r s o n a l i t y
Cynical, icy, and a born killer. Dioxin seems indifferent towards everything he does, only showing interest when doing heinous crimes in the dark of the night. When ordered to kill, he often likes to torture his victim mentally, breaking down any hope they have into bits. He is obedient to a fault and rarely ever questions those of superiority, that is, if he holds respect for them. For anyone he does not respect or idolize, he spits on and insults. When he speaks, it is cold and smooth like ice, quiet and low like a breath or whisper. The only one he cares for is his twin sister, who is rarely ever seen apart from him. He would do just about anything for her. They both know what goes on in each others mind, and share a sort of telepathic link.

Small, sleek black cat. Cyanide is slender and flexible, having more balance and agility than normal cats. While her brother has claws more dangerous than average, it is Cyanide's teeth that are more lethal than usual. Her canines are long and dagger-like, but all of her teeth are strong and sharp. But just like Dioxin, she coats her claws in nightshade when entering a battle. Her pelt is nearly absent of scars or wounds, unlike Dioxin. Around her neck is a silver chain with a cyanide pill attached to the end in a silver capsule. Her eyes are identical to her brother's, yellow and snake-like, with slits for pupils.

    p e r s o n a l i t y
Ingenious, devious, and a liar from birth. She is heavily sarcastic and always speaks bluntly, no matter who she is talking to. Cyanide cares little for others and doesn't care what happens to them, unless it's her brother. She is a valuable piece to have in any evil organization, for even though she's young, she is undeniable clever and shrewd. Cyanide is just as selfish as Dioxin is obedient, wanting what she wants, when she wants, using any means to get it. A great leader, she has no problem telling others what to do and has high levels of confidence. She speaks charismatically as well, so getting others to follow her isn't very difficult. Cyanide and Dioxin work like a shadow and the caster, connected with one in the spotlight, and the other in the darkness.

Born in the wild to parents they saw as pathetic. Why? Because they were so soft and happy-go-lucky it was revolting. They were born with the names Dingo and Cyan, but quickly disposed of that rubbish, changing them to their liking. At 4 moons, they were already brilliant fighters and often challenged house cats. Their parents grew to fear them because of the sinister personalities they had and the acts they carried out. Oh well. Out with the garbage! That's just what they did: slit their parents throats while they were sleeping and stuffed their mouths with poisonous nightshade. After that, the two became lone rogues, living for only each other and to cause destruction. At about 6 moons, they were caught by some "cat-catchers" and put in a shelter where they were soon adopted by foolish Nofurs. One of the Nofurs they lived with was suicidal, and she was where Cyanide obtained the capsule. The boy that owned Dioxin was some punk rocker, who gave him a collar studded with sharp spikes. Cyanide and Dioxin easily escaped within a few days, and ended up where they are now.

    Yaaay. Quickies. :3

Hearing Snap's announcement, Natli excitedly bolted towards the rabbit, diving into it. She took the biggest bite she could and looked up at he dad with cheeks like a squirrel's.

"Wit astes wik wed wuff. Wut wiz wit?"
She mumbled in words incomprehensible. Slowly she swallowed, gagging a bit from the large amount of food pushing down her throat.

How strange. The air was thick and heavy with the scent of cats, yet none could be seen. Alert and cautious, eight black paws trekked through the dark and eerie environment, moving in synchronized footsteps. The pair of cats curiously stared forward at the large figure standing in the distance, the one that got bigger and bigger as they grew closer. As the details slowly began to emerge, the two saw it resembled the strange homes that the Nofurs lived within, except much, much larger. They couldn't help but realize that the cat scent got stronger the further they walked, and began to think that it was wafting from inside the enormous house. The funny thing was… the air was absent of the strong scent of Nofurs. The house must be abandoned, however, it wasn't empty.

They wondered what had lead them here. It seemed moments ago they were hunting, and the next they were standing a few yards away from a Nofur mansion. There was a strange feeling tickling at their paws, one that pulled them in this direction.

"Sister, what do you believe could be within this abandoned Nofur nest?" Questioned Dioxin in his icy, breath-like voice, as he stopped and waited for her to answer.

"What else could it be, other than a gang of cats? And from the strength of the smell, it has to be more than just a few, I'm guessing," The black she-cat beside him replied, leaning forward to see a bit better what the house looked like. Cyanide was a bit hesitant to travel any closer to it, for even though she was pretty confident, she knew it was a stupid move to charge into a cluster of cats so badly outnumbered.

"Then what should we do, approach or flee?" The tom asked, correcting his slouching posture.

When Dioxin said the word "flee", Cyanide's hesitance dissipated. "Let's go check this place out. What's the worst thing that could happen?"

"I ask of you not to ask that question. It'll get me ranting again, and I do not wish to waste my breath."

Cyanide just smirked and chuckled sinisterly as she started for the entrance of the mansion, followed by her brother.

Now what could this strange estate have in store for the two siblings?

Slapping her paw down hard on the ground, Natli looked up at her father with a childish frown.

"Daaad," She began in frustration as she took another bite of the rabbit, "Wi swaid," Mewled the she-kit, making the same mistake again, though she swallowed before continuing. "'It tastes weird. What is it?' It shouldn't be so hard ta understand, I said it correctly. Maybe you just need yer ears cleaned out."

"What? You're a chick too," She retorted, staring at SoCal with narrowed eyes. Strider lied her head on her paws, wearing a frustrated gaze. A few silent moments passed. Blinking as Aphrodite's hard, disappointed stare came into vision, she lifted her head up. Strider's ears drooped, and the blue tabby sat up, still sulking slightly.

"Sorry, for being, uh, er, um... rude, I guess," Mumbled the she-cat, mostly to Brody, but to her sister too.

Strider smiled meekly and turned to listen to the conversation SoCal had started. It was so weird. Chicks and ducklings? Where did she come up with that? The blue tabby giggled lightly, trying to stifle her laughter.

"Like those little yellow feathery dudes that follow bigger yellow feathery dudes?" Aphrodite mewed, her ears flicking straight up.

Grinning, Natli bared her teeth and let out a high-pitched roar. It was pretty funny sounding.

"Yeah, I'm gonna be the biggest and the strongest. Everyone's gunna fear me!"

Sandkit narrowed her eyes and whipped around to face Bramblekit.

"How is fighting pointless if we do it all the time, huh? Stop preaching to us like you're better or smarter then us," She meowed lowly.
