Iris talked of events like that until she hoped the dragon was satisfied with the knowledge she gave it, she couldn't help but be somewhat thankful that her locked memories had come back before the journey.
(Also when Orchid wakes up does that mean everyone will figure out that Vena was the one who stole the moonstones)

Orchid nodded a little bit. She had to admit it wasn't a desirable situation but getting angry and frustrated wasn't going to make the moonstones magically appear, she just hoped that they had enough time.
(It's fine I needed some sleep anyway ^^)
Iris nodded but remained cautious as she went deeper into the cave to get the moonstone, not really caring about the treasure anyway since she had no desire for it and the fact that they were on a mission.
Iris honestly didn't care, she had no interest in that kind of thing, only interested in getting the moonstone for the mission. She walked ahead looking around for it.
Iris went towards it and carefully picked the stone up. three more to go...please let us make it in time She thought to herself as she began to head back to the front of the cave.
(I have an Idea for one of the spirit candidates...what if a wind priestess apprentice managed to survive and on their way to the next dragon they stop at the shrine again and find the girl who had just finished burying her mentors? If not its fine just an idea I thought of ^^; )

(Also I got stupid lucky with my shopping at barnes and noble today...Kimi ni Todoke isn't usually shelved at the ones near me but someone ordered one and didn't pick it up so I got the first volume X3)

Iris' eyes widened and she ran outside to see if it was Elric and Lilith.
Iris smiled a bit, looking relieved for the moment as she held the moonstone out. "Well there was a dragon in there..." she said quietly. "But it only has one moonstone...it said we'd have to find other dragons for the rest..." she explained, her body ached a little from being hit against the wall by the dragon but blamed herself for how she acted towards it before.
(Is Elric hiding that he was hurt badly?)

Iris gave Lilith the moonstone and went to Elric, looking for injuries with a worried gaze. She found out his side was injured and her hands shook a little, she was angry for a brief moment and she smacked him, trembling now as her eyes began to fill with regret for what she did along with regret for not forcing him to stay while she rescued Lilith and her head lowered slightly to shadow her eyes as she began to step away from them.
"Sorry...I'm going to cool my head a little bit" Iris said and walked off to try to keep Lilith and Elric from seeing her cry. She was so terrified of losing others close to her yet she always seemed to be hiding like a coward and wanted to scream and kick herself for being such a weakling instead of being strong enough to protect those she cared about from being hurt.
(Well it was originally a manga/comic idea that involves reapers angels and demons...and there's two types of reapers ones who are just naturally like that and often have some kind of ability as a result and ones that are often saved from something that means certain death and become reapers from it...usually a reaper will team up with an angel or demon to fight creatures that are invisible to normal humans but are often the causes for things like deadly car accidents, fires, etc. The 'true' reapers can also pair up with an 'unnatural' reaper though it's very rare)

Iris stared at the sky as tears began to form in her eyes, not realizing that Elric was following her. She was so frustrated with herself and a little bit frustrated with Elric for being able to make her worry so much regardless of how 'awesome' he kept saying he was.
Iris heard him and she turned around in surprise and tried to get away because she didn't want him seeing her cry like a child.

In this world, there are creatures known as Virals who are invisible to ordinary humans. These creatures are usually the causes of deaths all over the world such as car accidents, fires, suicides and so on. In order to try to keep them from running rampant there are Reapers who fight them alongside angels and demons. It has been discovered after research that there are two types of Reapers. The Noir, who were essentially born with their ability to fight the Virals and often have another ability or type of magic to fight with. There is also the Ashen, who were almost killed by a Viral but were saved by a Reaper, Angel, or Demon. They do not have the second ability like the Noir Reapers but due to the survival from death they are more resistant to the attacks and side effects of the Virals. Both Reaper types and strong Angels and Demons can be seen by humans and often live normal lives on the surface while carrying the burden of saving as many people as possible from dying by the Virals hands. Here is where are story begins, and not all threats are from the virals.

Noir Reapers
These people are born with the ability to see and fight the Virals. They are faster and usually have one other ability or type of magic at their disposal but they are at times weaker to the attack of the Virals and the poison that they emit that causes the accidents and other things that end in death. They usually pair with an Angel or a Demon but on Rare occasions they will pair with an Ashen Reaper and don't have to pair up with anyone if they choose not to.
Ashen Reapers
These people were not born with their ability to see and fight the Virals, rather they were saved from the brink of death by a Noir Reaper, Angel, or Devil. They do not have a second ability or magic but they are stronger against the Virals attacks and poison due to their survival from being attacked before. They usually have to pair up with an Angel, Demon, or Noir Reaper at least at first since their power is unstable.
Angels
Angels are people who were deemed fit to become one upon death, they pair with reapers to help departed souls move on and go to where they belong. Despite them usually being good in life it does not mean that all of them are completely pure just as not all Demons are completely evil. They are gifted holy magic users but are usually paired with very strong Reapers for they do tend to limit their powers, this is usually done to protect the reaper from their powers going out of control and hurting themselves or others.
Demons
Demons are people who died with either severe resentment or did something bad enough to prevent them from becoming an Angel or to just move on. They are gifted at dark magic and heavy melee fighters. Not all Demons are completely evil just as not all Angels are completely good. They are good for weaker Reapers because they boost the strength of the one they are paired with as they have fewer boundaries than Angels do.
Notable Places
Cafė La Symphony
This is somewhat of a base for the Reapers. On the surface it looks like a regular cafe but in the back and in the basement there are areas to train and an area to get your weapons tuned and fixed or get new ones to use.
Long Cross Academy
This is an academy that most of the school age reapers wind up going to due to the principal knowing about what they do. It has Elementary, Middle, and High School buildings with Gym and Art buildings separate from them. There are uniforms for the students to wear that varies slightly from each building and a slight variation in the color of the ribbon or tie that the student wears depending on grade.

Elementary Section:
The elementary students wear a cream blazer over a gray shirt and either blue pants or red skirts with the ribbon or tie. The colors of the ribbons and ties are White for 1st Grade, Indigo for 2nd Grade, Brown for 3rd Grade, Maroon for 4th Grade, and Green and Black for 5th Grade.
Middle School Section:
The Middle school students wear Dark Red Blazers over white shirts and light gray pants or skirts along with the ribbon/tie. The colors for the Ribbons and Ties are Yellow for 6th Grade, Orange for 7th grade, and White and Blue for 8th Grade.
High School Section:
The High Schoolers either wear Dark Gray or Navy Blue blazers over a shirt with white skirts or Black pants and the ribbon/tie. The colors of the Ribbons and ties are Light Blue for 9th Grade, Green for 10th Grade, Black and Purple for 11th Grade, and Black and White for 12th Grade

"You don't get it do you...have you had to sit for centuries and watch those you tried to get close to either die because they were acquainted with you or grow old and die and be unable to stop it..." she said quietly. "To be utterly powerless and unable to do anything but worry and be terrified of getting too close to anything" She was shaking and shakily hit Elric's chest very lightly "Dummy...You worried me to death...and came back injured...stupid idiot..."
"You Idiot...I grieve because they meant something to me...It didn't matter that they were human and I wasn't..." Iris said quietly, trembling as she let the tears slide down her cheeks. "Shutting out the pain and sorrow took years upon years of work...yet somehow you managed to undo it all you stupid dumbass..." she whimpered, her voice beginning to shake as she tried to keep from outright sobbing into Elric.
