Rain smiled at him gratefully, sighing and looking at her pups with light in her eyes

Sydney stared in awe, blood coating her clothes and skin. The mutt lunged at her again, seemingly unaffected by the blades until, after taking a chunk of her flesh, it backed away slightly

She smiled, "Yes." She replied, looking at him with one eye as her head was against the floor as she lay, making only her right eye visible

Rain raised her head and licked his ear in response, needing no words
