Rattail then coughed up blood.

Rattail fell over, blood coming out of the scratch on her stomach, her broken leg, and her coughs. "Am I...dying...?" She thought, as her vision began to fade.

"Nice name."

Rattail's eyes closed, she tried to get up. "I'm...okay..." She lied. Everywhere on her body hurt and she was losing lots of blood.

"I'm...fine..." She fell over and hit her head on the floor. "I've...been through...worse..." She tried to get up again. "If I die, I'll at least die with honor..."

Rattail took a breath. "I'm...not so sure..." A tear fell onto the floor and mixed with her blood. "...but thank you..."

She was shaking and her heart was beating loud and fast.

"Th...thank you for your kindness..."

Rattail's golden eyes began to get their gleam back and she weakly sat up. "I was the great Ratstar, leader of TreeClan, that's why I want to die with honor-for my father's Clan. TreeClan's cats may still be around, living together. I would love to get back to them, to see my family, but my father, Featherstar is gone. Darn twoleg monsters..."

Itty spread her bug wings out and flew around, making a "Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" noise.

Rattail saw she was still bleeding. "Oh, it'll take that a while to heal..." She muttered, licking her broken leg.

Rattail twitched her ear. "I at least still have my honor." She mumbled, looking at her right front leg. "But what was I thinking? I have a broken leg, I can't fight well!"
