ren charged at the door that lead to the second floor determined to get down.

"i dont know-" echo stopped ears perking she pulled her ears down. "he is coming." she whispered.

ren ramed the door again busting it down and tumbling down the stairs landing on all fours.

ren sniffed the air catching misharo's scent. a debilish smile played on his lips.

echo pulled misharo along with her. "run!"

ren darted down the hall barking, "you cant escqpe my game." he laghed devilishly as he chased the two girls.

echo pulled her arm away running toward a barred window. f*ck dead end. she skiddes to a halt and whirled around unsheathing her claws she jumped up and pulled down thecover to an airvent. "get in!!"

ren plowwed toward the closing in fast.

echo jumped up gripping the metal with her claws and swung herself up.

"aaahh a game i love games" ren said with a demonlike smile. he began punching the ceiling breaking holes through the airvent

ren studied his work waiting for any sign of movement. he frowned.

"ill go first" echo whispered. and began crawling toward the holes.

"eek!!" echos scream was cut off as she was yanked down. "one out of two" ren sang holding echo. "i'll let you live till we get your friend then the real fun will start." he smiled and put a collar and lesh on echo.

she began to whimper. "shut up!" he said as he yanked her lesh waiting for signs of mishaeo.

"qthere you are~" ren sang dodging the knife and greabing her by the ankle.

he yanked her down and echo slid under her softening her fall.

"tsk, now that wasnt a good move now wqs it?" he said as he clawed the back of echo's shoulder.

echo yelped in pain and curled into a ball.

"alizo?" she said in a hoarse voice. "i said shut up!" he said and slammed his foot into her stomach. she coughed up blood. where's my ren? she wished ren would return to the sane young man he was a year aho.

echo got up and yanked ren's tail "im still alive and you wont hurt anyone else big brother" she shouted at him. his pupils diolated.

she stood there looking at him. "come back i want you back! angey is in a better place now! what would she say if she saw you like this!?" ren's ears sulked and he slid his back down the wall. "what have i done?" he whimpered.

echo rubbed his back. "you are back the nightmare is over." she purred rubbing her head against her shoulder.

echo yelped in delight and skipped ahead of her brother. he followed her a dazed smile on his face. he stopped. "how many people did i kill?" he asked. echo went pale "at least 20" she muttered. "but thats not the point that wasnt you!"

their ears perked at the same time. "jesse is going to kill you." echo whispered in horor.

echo stormed toward where jesse's voice was coming from. "take me in ren's place!" she shouted. "no echo i cant loose you" he said.
