um.. is anyone aware that Lakekit is here? when Snakekit was prodding Mint she mentioned Blizzardkit, but not Lakekit.

and Mint just ignored her completely.

Shimmer padded over to the Warrior's den.

ooc:oh i guess that makes more sense than him actually liking her. maybe in "other" you could mention it.

Flamepelt sighed "ill talk to her." he mewed heavily

Flamepelt padded over to Shimmer. "we need to talk." he meowed. "Why are you so mean to Flowerpetal? cant you actually talk to her, like a real cat, and tell her whats wrong? she'll listen."

Shimmer sighed. "its just, the second i came into the camp, she seemed suspicious of me. i dont ignore those details quickly." she mewed, flicking her tail.

"Thats ok, i wasnt really that tired anymore." Lakekit mewed

Lakekit pushed her muzzle into Mint's flank. "What happened?" she squeaked

Flamepelt shoved his face in front of Shimmer's. "you should talk to Flowerpetal. ill come with you" he meowed

Shimmer narrowed her eyes. "i dont need you to come. im not a kit." she hissed angrily

"why do you hate her so much? she didnt exactly do anything to you." Flamepelt hissed

Shimmer looked ready to explode. "i tried to be nice to her when i came, But was she nice to me?! NO! she just treated me like...a monster! does she treat the fox and pup like that?"Shimmer was close to yowling, but, though Flamepelt didnt notice, she felt tears coming to her eyes. "i was going to make friends, i wouldnt be alone! but it seems i was wrong. it was better to be alone. i made no friends. ill stay for a week, but i dont know. if i like it, ill stay. but if not..." she didnt finish her sentence. she looked away from Flamepelt, she fought to stay calm, and not let tears come.

Shimmer left the den, but didnt head to Flowerpetal's den. she sat in the middle of the clearing, and curled her tail over her paws. she needed time to think

Flamepelt looked after Shimmer and shook his head. this was not going well. he thought she would fit right in. what a mistake!

Flamepelt padded over to Flowerpetal's den. "ï tried talking to her." he mewed

he pushed his muzzle into her fur, and breathed in her sweet scent, drawing comfort. "im sorry for bringing her. i thought she would do well." he murmured

Flamepelt licked her fur, then headed out to hunt. as he leaped for a mouse, he felt a thorn snag into his pad. his eyes glazed over with pain as he padded slowly back to Flowerpetal, and showed her his paw.

i once rped on this.... but i think you got rid of that thread because this is completely different. it was fun while it lasted.
