    the night was illuminated by fire and brimstone - the physical manifestation of hatred between shadowclan and the compendium. the ligress had hoped that the battle would have subsided by now, but it only raged on. her mother and blacklight fought bitterly, hissing at each other like snakes. behind them, their clans attacked and snuck and ambushed, pulling their children into the mix without a second thought. it was madness - a weird amalgamation of strategy and chaos.


    she hated it.


    firefly was a sweet soul, someone who wasn't meant to be born into a furious anti-clan. constellationdreamer and crookedsmile were amazing parents while it lasted, but crookedsmile was killed by humans and connie... well, connie wasn't exactly herself since her mate died. radinatmemories was gone... jiyu had disappeared... and even firefly herself wasn't feeling her greatest. she had lost the use of her back legs, and required constant help to move around. she was no help with the war, and didn't know enough about medicine to help commonwealth or paintbrush to do anything in their field. it was depressing, even if she did have loving people around her to understand. bullet and span were freaking amazing to her, and they both knew that she was happy to have them next to her but...


    was she just a bit of a pretty face now? had she relegated herself to the role of trophy wife after raven and stuart? she certainly enjoyed being a wife and a mother, but did others look down on her for it?

  • opinions on the renegades?

    neutral groups are certainly hard to get right, but i'm sure the renegades could be a little bit more exciting if they had a central plot or culture that diversified them a bit

    i still kinda see them as shadows of the cartel and the sanguine ruins, even though i know the renegades were first.


    but but but that's just an uneducated opinion bc i only have one charcater in the renegades, and i don't really feel the vibe of the group with her :\

    i have a character from the Warfare lineage, specifically the daughter of Chemical Warfare, who everbody knows was an armored jaguar. i was reading the lexicon and

    "Armored pelts and similar attributes are not allowed due to their increased defense being overpowered. Body parts can also not be swapped out for other body parts, only mutations like horns/wings/extra tails/etc."

    can i still have my pretty baby if her plates are only on her back and nose and she doesn't really interact in battle?
