Hydra didn't move aggressively towards the mare that wandered into the meadow. Instead she watched her uncertainly, noting her ragged breathing. The plants were okay, this pony meant no harm to them. She suddenly stood at the sound of more hoofsteps and dashed towards the pony. "Please stay back."

A small group of stallions and mares strode into the forest. Hydra tucked her ears back and gave an unfriendly look.

"Ahem, if you choose to rough house here, I'm afraid you'll have to face off with me." Hydra spoke with a no nonsense tone. She began walking towards them. "Bullying is a very sad thing to do, truly pathetic I must say." The flowers whispered in agreement with her words. The earth pony mare snorted in annoyance.

With an eye roll Hydra stepped towards them quietly. "I shall warn you one last time. Leave or I'll make your visit an unpleasant one." She stomped her hooves for effect, digging into the ground. She never backed down for her own bullies and she would never back down from these ones. Even if there were many more than she anticipated.

(Should I make a couple cats? :3 Or somepony else can do that. I'll just make another tom for now.)

    New tom:

Vance meowed cheerfully and batted at the air as she pinned him down. With a sudden burst of energy, he had her rolling to her side. He headbutt her softly and playfully.

Avery grinned and flicked her nose with his tail. "Great, follow me." He jumped past her, sniffing the air. He followed his nose to a sleeping she-cat. She seemed pretty out and he leaned over to whisper in Whisper's ear (XD). "This is my favorite thing to do when you get the right cat. You collect some dung of any kind and lay it next to the target. Next you find a way to make them roll over, you can make them sneeze or tickle them, either method works. The look when they wake up is the best."

    OOC: PLEASE READ!!!
    1. I prefer 3+ sentences per post
    2. I'm not super active to warn you but I will post at least once a day.
    3. The plot goes something like this to start:
Layla(my character, yay) is bummed out because teenager drama. She has a childhood friend that moved away but, surprise, surprise, turns out to be moving in with Layla and her mother. (Due to financial reasons, her mother opened her house open.) The plot can go where it ends up from this point on
    4. You may use "extra characters" if you want.
    5. Um, for funsies, do this so I can see you actually read this:
    [move]XD[/move]

How could I trust anyone at this point?

Those words lingered in Layla's head as she watched snow softly drift to the ground. It had already covered the area in a thin white sheet. She stuck her tongue out and a few flakes landed, melting quickly. It cheered her up, reminding her of her childhood.

Layla remembered her best friend. They stuck together like two peas in a pod. The park, the pond, the bakery. Eating tasty donuts from the bakery was the most fun. She couldn't remember what kind of donuts they bought though.

She sighed as she remembered this. She sighed at the reason she was remembering this. People were so unreliable and fake these days. Her supposed best friend had been spreading unbelievable lies about her and plenty of others. Another close friend hardly talked to her anymore, never listened to her when she needed someone to talk to.

She was done. Not done with life, but done with making friends.

Why couldn't they be like the memories with her old friend?

    Those were great.

Her phone vibrated in her pocket. Her mother was likely texting her, as she now realized how late it was.

Home, NOW, I thought I explained that we had guests coming.

She was going to get chewed out for this. Sighing, Layla trudged back home slowly but surely. As she approached her house, an unfamiliar car sat in the driveway. As she went to open the door, it swung open and she was greeted by her mother. "Quickly, quickly."

Pulling her into the house, she rushed to the kitchen, leaving Layla to herself.

    (Of course not! ;3)

Layla stepped into the the kitchen quietly, freezing up in moment. Errin, of all people, was sitting there. She loved when her best friend came over but all of the fuss? She looked down to see her mother looking over her disapprovingly.

"You're going to get sick from being out in the snow so long sweetie. Take a seat real quick and I'll get some food." Her mother walked towards the oven, mumbling a few words of annoyance under her breath.

Layla took a seat and smiled to to Errin's parents politely. "Sorry for being so late." After she glanced toward Errin, trying to meet her eyes. She just hid behind her bag, maybe peeking at her? She couldn't tell from where she was sitting. Instead Layla gave up and waved. "Hey there Err-"

She was instantly cut of by her mother, how loudly placed some food on the table. "Okay, since we were waiting for Layla to show up, we can eat now or talk now." Her mother, Abigail, looked over at Errin's parents.

(The circumstance for Errin moving in can be your choice if you'd like. If not, I do have a couple ideas C: )

(Right C: You wanna talk over messages rather than the thread? :0 )

Layla served herself last, watching as her mother laughed cheerfully. "I think it's wonderful to catch up with you all, it's been so long since we've last done something so nice." Abby spoke before taking a bite of food. "Just because I love telling this story, our neighbor got a kitten recently. Adorable little thing, but has quite the temper with dogs." She babbled on about the kitten and how it chased another neighbor's dog.

Layla chuckled at the story. Her mother loved that little kitten. Her gaze moved over to Errin's things. It finally clicked her best friend was actually moving in with her. Her mother kept saying she was but she couldn't believe it. She wasn't sure if she was feeling excited or nervous or what it was she felt.

Maybe awkward, since it had just been her mother and her for such a long time. She looked up to meet Errin's gaze. She seemed really happy. Layla gave her a shy smile of her own and focused back on her food.

Avery grinned and found a long leaf in a bush. He took it carefully in his mouth and wiggled it right on the she-cat's nose. She scratched it a little in her sleep and rolled over. Avery beckoned Whisper over into a bush with him and they watched the chaos unfold.

The she-cat rolled away from the dung, showing a visible splotch on her fur. Her nose wrinkled in her sleep.

Vance purred happily as he stared into Fawn's eyes.

"I'm sorry." Hydra frowned. "I hope they won't bother you anymore.. Oh yes, I must properly introduce myself. I'm Hydrangea Bud but Hydra will be much shorter. What may I call you?" She bent over some roses and whispered. "May I borrow some petals?" The roses shed some petals and she carefully picked them up in her mouth.

    ROLEPLAY

A freshly blooming forest sat peaceful. Pokemon of all shapes ad sizes rested happily in their homes. A cold, hard winter was over.

A small head poked out from a bush, looking out into the open woods. The figure was easily hidden in bush, due to the great amount of green leaves covering it. And the figure itself was pretty small. It float out, the small, purple Pumpkaboo.

"Yay~ The snow is gone, I get to play~" She sang cheerfully.

Not far away a Drifloon floated above. The breeze was light and he was just going with it.
