Hades eyes flickered dangerously. He shrunk to his cat size and faced Cronos, eyes still blazing. He looked menancing, but then he turned his head so Cronos could not see him cry.
"Yes, she is my daughter, but she doesn't know about me. She thinks that the other cat was her father, the one she killed. Her curse, well, usual our children are dead by the time their 20 moons old. Rose is the only one who has survived past two years...and had a mate."
He faced Cronos, eyes full of sorrow.
"The Blood Wrath is actually a defense mechanism. It was Artemis's idea, she thought if she could her them the power of the wolf, that she would live longer. But two species cannot mix. The curse is genetic, but to activate it, the child must be injured. That's you see those scars on Rose's body."
He paused then continued.
"When Artemis saw that you and Rose fell in love, she was glad. She thought you would break the curse, but Rose is pregnant and that's not good. The kits are the ones killing her Cronos. They live off her god-spirit. You only have till sunset tomorrow Cronos. And by the way her name is Hali and that pink charm is her life source. Let her stay in the spring for the night when you reach it and give the charm to her. DON'T LOSE IT! Shadow will be following you."
He disappeared.
