    I'm not in Blizzardclan, but I have a character who sort of travels around (currently in Riverclan). He's a really horrible person. Very manipulative, and sort of representative of temptation.


    He's going around the clans right now, being his usual self. He'll come to a clan, seek out a cat, watch them, then offer them what he believes they want most in the world. He presents himself as a magician, or even a guardian angel. Then he gives them what they want- for a price. Of course, it'll backfire in some way. It's really great character development, when it does too.


    Your only job is to tell me a) what the character wants and b) how it'll backfire. I'll make the thread, and they can negotiate on the price once it's started.

    The price could honestly be anything. He has memory manipulation so he could ask for a memory. If your character wants it bad enough, Rumple could ask for a body part of some kind, so that Sousuke has to hurt someone to get what he wants. If you want something simpler, he's asked for a weapon before.

    Infection. He had watched these Thunderclanners on the territory for weeks. Lately, Pocketwatch was just feeling...tired. It was his time. And if it wasn't, he wanted it to be. The tom gave a dry smile and stepped forward, notifying one of the infected of his presence. The mute cringed as it bit him and blood began to spill. He fought back only enough so that it seemed he'd tried. It would look like was cornered, and had tried to heroically fight the creature off. That was not the case.


    Of course, he didn't much like the thought of being eaten alive. So when they were both bloodied up enough, he slit his own throat and left the world peacefully. Always, he was hiding his true emotions. It was obvious he was somewhat bitter. But he was a mute; why wouldn't he be? Now, even in death, no one would know of the extent of his depression.


    He was just glad it was over. No matter what pain he felt now, it would be better than a continued life.

    River felt conflicted. She was cynical when it came to this kind of thing. It was completely illogical, no basis in science or fact. But she was also intrigued. There had to be some kind of magic in the world, right? She half-hoped so. After all, she had The Sight, telepathy, and teleportation abilities. No way that was all logically explained. I led a backboard clan at a time when I had no extra time on my hands to run it and I really had stopped liking my character. I killed him off after a month of trying, so I don't know if I'm the best source, but I can tell you what I wished I'd done.


    I'd say start with the character. The more muse you have for it, the more you'll have for the clan. Put your leader in a tough situation. Even better, get other clans involved. Make an alliance plot, or a takeover plot. Have a villain that takes over the clan and uses your character's weaknesses against them while harming the clan. Conflict and big plots draws people (or at least it totally draws me).

    As an artist herself, Ariel was eager to see Deccy's creation. A part of her was still wary of him after what he'd done, but she couldn't believe someone so kind would hurt anyone without good reason. You're too trusting, the voice said. It will be the death of you. The Panselier ignored it and smiled, "It's very good! I'm more of a painter myself, but I get what you mean about art-theft. Not cool," Ariel added seriously.
