"Holding you," Cai answered her, a small smile playing over his face when she rested her head on his chest, finally letting someone else be upset for her. "So you don't have to be sad right now."

Kyoki remained in the biology lab, waiting for Sasuke and the girl he was saving to come back. The halls were quiet now, the zombies that had been heading towards them now lying on the floor around her. "How did this happen...?" she asked no one in particular, her voice quiet and filled with sadness.
-
Glad that she finally seemed to be calming down, Cai let himself do so as well, his head falling back to rest against the wall of the closet while he held her. "How long have you been stuck here?" he asked her gently, not wanting to push any buttons that might set her off again, but interested in her story.
-
OOC: Bye bye!
IC: Kyoki just shrugged when Eli turned to her. "I think she means the infected. The things everyone call 'Zombies' have been portrayed on T.V. for years now, and the infected that now roam our world look and act almost exactly like them." -
Slipping her katana into the thin leather sheath it came in, Kyoki nodded and said, "Okay."
-
Kyoki packed only what she could work with, a scalpel, a few chemicals, some wires left over from an electricity experiment, and a first-aid pack hanging on the wall behind the teachers desk. The things she grabbed probably wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to anyone watching her take them, but there was always a logical reason behind the things she did, whether or not others saw those reasons as well.

-
Kyoki had to stifle a laugh when she heard him, the question sounding so ridiculous at a time like that. "I-I doubt it, it's a biology room after all," she answered, stumbling over her words because of her attempt to smother the giggle that threatened to burst out. She had no idea why it was so funny to her, it just was. Maybe it was because she was finally going in to shock with everything that happened, or maybe she was just being stupid, either way she found it humorous.
-
"Then maybe there is one, go look for it if you want to, no ones keeping you here," Kyoki replied in a distracted voice, her attention now focused on the increasing amount of zombies in the courtyard outside. How is there so many of them? she thought to herself.
-
OOC: Lol, everyone was so eager to start class and now everyone is complaining about it starting.
~...~
IC: Hakkyo listened to the teacher attentively, jotting down nearly every word he/she(?) said in the dark purple notebook opened on her desk. She did this in every class she had, everyday, terrified she miss something important and forget it later on. As a straight A student it would be easy to say that forgetting anything when it comes to the academic aspect of her life was one of her greatest fears.
~...~
Akihiro, who couldn't care less about what the teacher was droning on about watched a bird flutter past the window he was sitting by. It wasn't that he disliked school, it was just that none of the things ever taught interested him. He still got good grades, but the idea of school just wasn't a pleasant one. -
"Wai-" Cai began to say right before she disappeared, more questions popping into his head and fighting for his attention. But the questions took a temporary break from the nagging when his mom walked into the room, a frown on her face.
"Who were you talking to?" she asked him, suspicion in her voice.
"No one mom, its not like I have anyone to talk to anyways," he answered her, the annoyance he felt showing through to his words. He didn't mean to sound as harsh as he did, it just got old though, his mom constantly thinking that he did something wrong. It'd been that way since the fire, her always waiting for him to act out because of it, and his usually failed attempts at trying to tell her nothing was wrong.
"Alright, alright, I believe you," she told him, sensing the frustration he felt. "When you're ready to stop sulking up here just let me know and I'll get dinner started."
And with that she left, closing the door behind her with a soft 'click'. -
OOC: Sorry about that, I thought I had been the last poster

IC: "Let's go meet them in the commons," Cai said to Jake while he walked towards the door. -
When they reached the commons Cai saw Lily with Sarah and waved them over, a crooked smile on his face. "Hey, you ready to head out?" he asked them both.
"Yep!" they answered simultaneously, an obvious blush on Sarah's face when she saw Jake.
OOC: Can we time-skip to the movies?(: -
Kyoki sat down in one of the desks and rested her head on the cool surface. "I just want to go home," she said to herself quietly. She wasn't usually one to mope and moan about anything, but it was obvious that whatever was going around them was taking its toll.
-
Hakkyo continued with her notes, the pencil in her hand moving over the sheet of paper in front of her with an almost inhuman quickness. It was obvious she was completely focused on what the teacher was saying, at least until her pencil snapped in two from the increasing amount of pressure she unwittingly put on it. Then it was like all h*ll had broken loose. "Son of a candy corn!" she said loudly, drawing the attention of not only other students, but the teacher as well.
~...~
Akihiro looked up when he heard Hakkyo shout, and had to stifle a chuckle. He'd known her since childhood and she'd always been a bit of a melodramatic. He had the sinking feeling that her pencil breaking would feel like the end of the world, at least to her, and no one wanted to see how she reacted to her own little ends of the world. He had personal experiences with it, and they weren't good ones. -
Hakkyo looked over at(don't know your charries name) with narrowed eyes, having heard his laugh. "It's not funny... My pencil broke and now I'm gonna get behind cause I don't have anything to write with," she said in a whiny voice.
~...~
"You're gonna get behind because you're disrupting my class, Miss Hataki," came the teachers voice from the front of the room, the use of her last name making her jump in fright.
~...~
"S-sorry Senpai," she said quietly, her eyes downcast and her cheeks reddening with embarrassment.
~...~
Akihiro just chuckled at his childhood friends stupidity and return his attention to the bird still sitting outside the window. -
Still muttering to herself about her broken pencil, Hakkyo took her seat and put away her notebook. I should probably start thinking about bringing more than one pencil with me everyday, she thought to herself. She looked up at the clock and saw it was almost time to leave. "Yay! When this period ends I can get a new pencil!" she said out loud by accident, her voice not what one would call 'quiet'.

OOC: Not trying to be a pest, but am I accepted?._.
