"My brother Emberpaw is over there, I'll go get him!"
But Emberpaw was already padding slowly from the trees, his mouse in his mouth. He nodded politely to the other cats and mumbled a greeting through his mouthful of prey.

"Are we building a camp from scratch? Can me and Emberpaw help?"
he asked Sunpaw. Then he quickly turned to Perchpaw.
"Can you catch fish? Can you show me how?"
he asked impulsively. Then he directed a question towards Bramblepaw.
"You said Silverpaw was one of your sisters. Where is your other one?"
Then he flicked his gaze between them, expecting an answer from each one.

Padding up to the injured cat, Emberpaw struggled to remember the herbs that his sister had told him about in case he or Skypaw were hurt and couldn't get a medicine cat.
Goldenrod juice doesn't heal, but numbs pain...but I think if you make a poultice, it can heal wounds...
Skypaw smiled comfortingly at Nightpaw.
"I'm Skypaw!"
He lightly touched his nose to hers.
