Swiftclaw shyly responded. "It would be nice indeed." Swiftclaw said to her, he secretly liked her, but couldn't lie about his Shadowclan half. he whispered to Winterflight "Meet me in the forest, there are some things I want to tell you." he finished in a whisper.
Echo slowly padded up to the Highrock and sat beside Winterflight. "I'm really glad you two found me." She said.
"As you Thunderclan warriors know, we no longer have a deputy in Thunderclan, and need a new deputy. I thought it over, and my new deputy, if he wishes, will be Swiftclaw. Swiftclaw, do you accept to become the deputy of Thunderclan, to be on one of the highest positions, and if I die, take my place as leader?" Eaglestar said.
"I really do, Eaglestar." Swiftclaw said, he was very happy. "I promise you, Eaglestar." He said.
"That is good to know, Swiftclaw. Now, we have a new cat to welcome to Thunderclan. Echo, please,step up." The grey kit stepped up. "Echo, do you promise to uphold the ways of warrior clan life?" "I do." Echokit said. "Then until you recieve your name as an apprentice and then a warrior, you will be known as Echokit." Eaglestar said. "Echokit!" Swiftclaw said with a smile. His pelt brushed against Winterflight's. "Clan meeting dismissed." Eaglestar said as he jumped down from the Highrock.

"I've been keeping it from cats too long, and I have too things to tell you, in a certain order. I know you may not feel the same but I...I really like you, as more than a friend." Swiftclaw said shyly. "And I can't keep a secret like this one from you." Swiftclaw said. He glanced around to make sure nobody else was watching. "I---" Swiftclaw paused. "am half Shadowclan, only Eaglestar and Sapphiretooth know, though remember the Shadowclan cat Whitewing? She was my mother." Swiftclaw told her. He was silently hoping to Starclan that Winterflight liked him back, and would still accept him despite being half Shadow. "No other cat then you and I,Eaglestar,and Sapphiretooth can know." He said to her, still silently praying to himself that Winterflight would accept him for what he was---a half Shadowclan cat, though better hated for what he is than loved for what he is not, Swiftclaw thought to himself.

"I am glad there is a cat that will love me for who I really am." Swiftclaw said. He gave her an affectionate lick, and he seemed to brighten up from the darkness holding him so close to working, he was still loyal, though he seemed a more happy than he had been.

"Sounds like a plan." Swiftclaw said with a smile. He unsheathed his claws and began to walk towards a stump in which he knew there was a lot of moss. Swiftclaw began to gather the moss together in a pile, then her would get bracken and feathers to line it.

Eaglestar padded over to Silverfur and nudged her. "Any idea where Swiftclaw and Winterflight are? They went out hunting and haven't been back since." he told Silverfur.

Swiftclaw really did love Winterflight, and sleeping in the comfort of the forest for once. Many stars were now gazing upon them. He smiled at sleeping Winterflight and fell asleep once more.

OOC: Skip to morning?

*morning* Swiftclaw awoke, still curled up to Winterflight. He gazed at her with a smile, knowing she would probaly get up soon, in the meantime, perhaps he would get some prey for them to share? After all, they both needed energy to hunt for the clan. He heard birds nearby, and began to stalk a chaffinch. His haunces rose, and he was quiet with every footstep. The chaffinch soared off, but it was too late. Swiftclaw grabbed a tight hold of it, and bit down its neck. Swiftclaw buried it for later. After awhile, Swiftclaw had 1 chaffinch,a vole,2 mice, and a small sparrow. He carried the prey over by the nest he and Winterflight had made. "I'll take some for the clan, some for Winterflight and I." Swiftclaw said to himself.

Eaglestar still wondered where Swiftclaw and Winterflight had been. Both had been gone since they went to hunt after the clan meeting yesterday! Swiftclaw had duty as deputy, and wasn't here.

"I do hope that they will return soon, I am nothing but worried." Eaglestar said. He was deep in thought, surely Swiftclaw would have been back by now? The dark-brown tom just prayed to Starclan Swiftclaw was not getting himself injured. It would be bad for a deputy to get severely hurt, indeed.

"Alright, we can hunt together." Swiftclaw said. He grinned, it seemed to light up the whole world. Ever since Winterflight had been by his side in the journey of life, Swiftclaw felt like He did not have much to lose. "I can hear the birds, let's go." Swiftclaw said with an approving nod. He loved life right now, because everything was perfect at this very heartbeat.

"Very true, Silverfur. If they are not back by sun high I will send a patrol to find them, warriors too fine to lose,in my opinion." Eaglestar said. But the truth was he did not want one of his only kin and a new warrior to die. If Swiftclaw dyed, Sapphiretooth would be his only alive kin. "Though it does worry me." He added.

"I suppose we should... let's get going, shall we?" he asked Winterflight, knowing the obvious answer.

Swiftclaw followed after with a affectionate purr, he was sure nothing in the entire world could be better then this.

IC:Eaglestar padded over to Swiftclaw and Winterflight. "Where were you two?" Eaglestar asked, concerned.

Swiftclaw immeadietly answered. "We were out hunting, Eaglestar." Swiftclaw told him, with not much other he could think of.

Echokit bounded over to Thunderkit. "Hi!" She said, looking up at him with a grin. "How are you?" She asked. "I feel a bit bored.." Echokit said, looking over the rest of the clan.

((Should I give Thunderkit's apprentice ceremony? And who will his mentor be,Silverfur,Winterflight,Swiftclaw, or Eaglestar?))

"Is there something wrong with being gone for one night?" He asked. "We're not kits you know." Swiftclaw added.

"You should have stayed in the camp, or told us you would be gone that long." Eaglestar told them sternly.

"Yeah, yesterday I was a loner in the forest, but Swiftclaw and Winterflight took me to Ealestar and I was renamed from Echo to Echokit." Echokit obviously saw nothing wrong with once being a loner.

Accepted, and a prophecy cat is just a cat involved in an omen made by Starclan.

"Don't worry, Eaglestar already spoke his approval." Echokit said with a smile.

Eaglestar padded over to Thunderkit. "Thunderkit, today you will become an apprentice. When I call the cats over to Highrock, come along, and sit in the front." Eaglestar told him. The brown tom padded onto Highrock. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around me for a clan meeting!" He called out.

*timeskip to everyone there* "Now, today we gather for one of the most important moments of clan life in itself. As most of you know, Thunderkit has reached six moons of age and is ready to be apprenticed. Thunderkit, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect the clan at the cost of even your life?" Eaglestar asked, like it was in each ceremony.

((I think Thunderkit's mentor should be Swiftclaw, based upon personalities.))

"Then from this day on you will known as Thunderpaw. Swiftclaw, you have trained other cats well. I trust that you will pass on the loyalty and strength to Thunderpaw." Eaglestar said. "Meeting dismissed." he added.

Swiftclaw padded beside Thunderpaw. "I will go out and show the boundaries of Thunderclan territory. Come." He said to his new apprentice.

Oh and Sootyfoot is accepted

Swiftclaw slowly padded into a forest. "I also wish to lay down quite simple rules I have. First of all, don't eat anything if you do not know what it is, for all I know you could have inhaled poison! Only eat the fresh-kill, I want no apprentices gone due to foolishness. Also, only attack if patrol leaders,Eaglestar,or myself tell you. We could get in unnessacery battle with other clans, and we need no wounds, despite it being Greenleaf. Those are the two main rules I have, simple, yes?" Swiftclaw told him. He came up to a very tall Sycamore Tree. "You see this tree? It is called the Great Sycamore. Ideal place for birds,and, when we get deeper into your training, if you are good enough at climbing, I may allow you to climb up to about half the tree. It is very tall, so it would be dangerous to climb the full way." Swiftclaw said to Thunderpaw.

Katrina slowly sat down with Pikachu, she felt the slightest bit bored. "Hm..." She mumbled to herself, wondering what to do.

"I've never been able to climb the whole way, but my old mentor, Eaglestar, he was actually named Eagleheart at the moment, let my climb up about halfway, maybe more, maybe less." Swiftclaw told Thunderpaw. "Now you must be exceptionally careful in this area." Swiftclaw said. He had padded over to Snakerocks. "The Snakerocks can be hunted at, but it is extremely dangerous so don't go there alone!" Swiftclaw told Thunderpaw sternly. "Cats have died here." Swiftclaw said. "The next place we will outline is Sandy Hollow, which is an amazing place to train. We will be going there often." Swiftclaw said. "It is a long walk from there from here, though." He told Thunderpaw.

"Hm....Would you please go on a border patrol with Winterflight and Sapphiretooth?" Eaglestar asked her.

Sapphiretooth padded over to Eaglestar. "You want me on a patrol with SIlverfur and Winterflight? Okay." She told her father respectfully.
