OOC: Lol it's fine, we're just hunting zebra at the moment. Oh and Shadowfight, the plot hasn't been decided yet :p
Larka watched Nia as she hunted and nodded her head, noticing her hunting skills. Slowly turning her head, she saw a male wildebeest. Well, we can have a feast tonight, she thought as she lowered her body to the ground so only her ears were visible through the grass. Mumbling to the others, she warned "Right everyone, we're gonna go after the bull. He's gonna lash out so keep out of range. We don't need any casualties. I'll chase it from behind with two others while two wait to grab its throat."
-
Mosi padded around the savannah, her head high for she was tracking the herds. She was young but her skills had been forced to develop while she was a loner. So far, she had only seen the usual wildebeest herd but this was the season when the buffalo and zebra came from the west. Sighing, she walked back to camp disappointed, they're late, she growled to herself. She lay near a baob tree on the outskirts of camp, where she could see the watering hole, and placed her head on her paws.
-
Kabira was near the watering hole, typically, with her paws half submerged in the murky water. She watched the zebra on the other side, her tail twitching, but they were too aware of her and would bolt even if she moved to get up.
-
Mosi looked back at her leader frowning, "I only went to track, Floyd, I'll go hunting if you want but I think it would be better if we waited for the herds to arrive." She smiled attempting to calm the leader, her head lowered.
-
Mosi nodded then sighed, "Yes, I think it will be hard for another couple of days with prey. But by the looks f things, the herds will be here soon." She looked at Floyd concerned, he had a lot to deal with at the moment, she thought. She stood and stretched, arching her back then turned her head towards the leader, "I don't mind going out again to hunt but I need one more lion if we're going to bring a wildebeest bull down, coming?"
-
Mosi grinned then trotted down to the herd. She stopped a couple hundred metres away then lifted her head, eyes closed and scrunched in concentration. The wind was blowing against her pelt, "We're in the right position." she told Floyd. She spotted the bull on the edge of the herd and dropped down to the floor, only her ears were visible as she crawled forward. Then, when she was a mere three metres away, she charged at the bull, chasing it towards Floyd's jaws.
-
-
Mosi held the bull down with her claws so that it wouldn't be able to stand. She waited for the bull to suffocate, breathing heavily from the chase.
-
Mosi strolled behind him.
-
Larka nodded, then said, "Okay then, if everyone's ready, let's make a move." She started to pad quickly forward as the herd migrated across the savannah.
-
Mosi went to swallow, her throat was dry as she had been hunting and tracking non stop. She padded over to the watering hole and dipped her muzzle in the cool water, lapping thirstily at the liquid.

OOC: Sorry! I've deleted mine :/ Just swap places with Frost law (she's at the nursery and you're with breezepaw) if that's okay?
-
IC: Larka crawled forward until she could see its hooves through the blades of grass. She nodded subtly to Sun and sprinted forwards towards the huge bull. She snarled as it veered to the side, furthering the distance between its leathery hide and her but calmed as she saw it was heading towards Sun. "Sun! Chase it towards Keri." She shouted.
-
Mosi lifted her head, water droplets clinging to her muzzle. She looked back at camp and tilted her head, "Huh! I didn't think it would happen that quickly but I'm glad it did. They are well-suited mates." She said
-
"Oh, goodnight then." she said. After an hour, she made to go to her den but decided against it, I think I'll sleep out here tonight she thought. She slid down to the earth and lay on her side, the only way she felt comfortable in the humid weather.
-
"Sure!" FireHeart replied. She quickly trotted to Bramblefur, eager to get going. She found him just emerged from the warrior's den and went up to the new warrior, "Bramblefur!" she called, "I'm going to get some fish from the river, do you want to come with me?"
-
OOC: Thanks!
IC: Seafire was strolling into camp with her brother after just patrolling the borders. She was content that the pack was well protected so was in a pretty good mood. She spotted Fernmoon with her apprentice so decided to update her later.
Blaazepelt stopped as he and his sister entered the camp and turned to say, "I think I might go hunting now, do you want me to look out for anything for you?" Seafire heard her belly rumble and grinned, "I'm fine but think my stomach might like some rabbit."
Blazepelt nudged his sister affectionately then went off into the forest, again.

Mosi rose at dawn, yawning. She stretched her limbs and padded over to the savannah. Raising her head, she looked over the blades of grass and surveyed the landscape. Her eyes widened at the sight, thousands of buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe and zebra covered the territory. She grinned and turned quickly, bounding back to camp.
-
Mosi turned her head side to side as she leaped into camp, where are they? She was ecstatic that the herd had arrived earlier that she had thought as it meant that there would be plenty for the pride now. Her head was clouded by her thoughts so that she rammed into Floyd blindly. "Floyd!" she cried, bounding up to her feet, "They're here!"
