Applekit purred and snuggled up to her sister.

Shinycloud was so shocked that she didn't hear the little kit. She had just become clan deputy! "T-Thank you Winterstar." She mewed dipping her head politely.

"Oh Softkit!" She wailed.

After the cheering died away Shinycloud meowed "I will do my best to serve the clan" she looked to Skykit and smiled as the kit proudly raised her voice to the sky calling her name.

Applekit yawned and sat up. The sun was rising in the sky. She prodded Cinderkit with a paw to wake her up.

When they returned to camp they deposited their kill on the pile. Lilypool then sniffed through the pile until she found a plump carp. She walked over to a shady area and beckoned Snakeriver to join her.

"Oh my dear!" she cried. "you came back" she ran up to Softkit and fiercely licked the young kit.

"Ok, ok" she mumbled. She leaped down from the highledge.

Dawnfur said nothing, just glared at her and continued licking the kit.

"come on cinderkit! You big lazy lump!" Applekit whispered "Let's go out!"

"cmon brightpaw" he mewed. " let's go find something to eat"

Applekit puffed out her chest and paraded out of the nursery. Head and tail high.

Berrypaw nosed through the pile until he found a fat, young rabbit. He dragged it over to a nice spot where they could share it in peace.

Each and every day, Rosestem begged Bramblestar to get Stormkit back but he simply said that the clan wasn't strong enough. "Bramblestar..." she began "Its been a quater moon since ShadowClan took Stormkit, when are you planning on getting her back?!?!"

Applekit scampered towards the fresh-kill pile, tiny tail in the air. She almost ran into an elder, 2 apprentices and a warrior on her way to the fresh-kill pile.

Applekit returned dragging a, rather small fish bigger than her.

When Lilypool had finished her meal she began to wash Snakeriver in long, rythemic strokes.
