Eve raised her eyebrows. "But I do not wish for gifts. I do not want them to spend their hard earned money on me who has everything." She bit her lip as she looked at Apollo.

Creed looked at it for a moment before he grabbed some ply wood from a pile. He looked up as he saw dark clouds in the sky. He pursed his lip before deciding what to do. He grabbed all the ply wood and took it to the barn. He peeked in Lightening's stall. "Ma'am, I'm going to get you some medical wrap to keep that on there and then I need your help. Dreamer and little no name need to be brought in and I have to tarp the just started coop before the storm." Creed ran off to get the tape and tarp in the tack room.

Paige heard a clang of something. She turned aroundand pressed her face against the door. She saw a bowl of liquid with a strange metal thing sticking out of it. Curiosity started to get the best of her. She wondered what it was and if it tasted good. She bit her finger to keep from spilling over with questions.

Paige soon tasted something metallic in her mouth. She looked at her finger which was bleeding. "Dang it," she growled. She had bitten her finger too hard. She tried licking it, but it wouldn't stop bleeding. "What would Jaxon do?" she whispered. She didn't have a clean piece of cloth to wrap her finger with.

Paige pursed her lips and peered out of the crate. "So I don't mean to be a bother, but I am bleeding and could use assistance." She hated asking for help. She knew that he could use it to his advantage, like a trade.

Creed came back to the stall and tossed in the medical tape. He took the tarp outside. He threw it over and started to stake it down. A gust of wind blew it off and on top of him. He growled and struggled free. He sat on the ground. He stood and started to struggle to get the tarp back the way it was so he could stake it.

Paige growled at his comment. "I wasn't trying to eat my finger. I'm not stupid." She grabbed what he threw to her. She pressed the weird paper thing to her finger. "How is this supposed to help me?" Her frustration was rising, and she threw the thing back at him. She stuck her finger in her mouth and turned around.

Paige hated these weird things that rich people had. It made her feel stupid. She didn't understand what what anything she saw was. She had never lived in a house. It was always on the forest floor. She felt scared and frustrated in this place.

Paige watched him leave. She reached for the thing called a "band-aid" and wrapped it around her wounded finger. It felt funny, and she shook her hand. It didn't come off which intrigued her. She looked at it. "I still don't understand how this helps." She looked out. "And what is this ice cream?"

((Sorry that it's kind of short.))

Creed grunted his thanks as he staked the rest down. He put the hammer in his back pocket and ran over to the paddock. The sky was growing darker, and Dreamer was getting anxious. Creed looked over and saw her colt. He cupped his hands and gave an owl call. The colt came up to the gate. He led him back into the barn, running out a moment later. "We just need to get ahold of her halter."

Paige listened to his request. Her ears flattened against her head. She eyed him suspiciously. I suppose I can be nice as long as this isn't a prank. I do not like practical jokes." She remembered how her brother used to play them on her, and she would get him back to pass the time.

Her brother had really bonded with her after the murder of their parents. Jaxon was a tiger neko with green eyes and five-years-older than his sister. He was the one who kept her alive. Pranks kept them on their toes, always alert. They used to sleep in trees to keep away from the hunters. However, he got caught by the hunters one day, leaving her on her own.

Paige blocked out of the thoughts of her brother. His screams for her to run rang clearly through her mind as if he were right there next to her. She growled, trying to get it to go away. She focused on the strange white lumps in the bowl.

Paige looked at the bowl and then the open gate. She picked up the bowl and took a bite. Sweetness tingled her tastebuds. She scooped more in her mouth, eating happily until his question came. Her face fell. "I don't tell people my name. It's less of an attachment that way." To her, no info meant no weakness.

The last time she had talked to someone, they had tried to use her to get the hunters off of them. They had tricked her into being their friend and led her into a trap. Luckily she had gotten away, but the hunters weren't happy with the neko who had tricked her. She never trusted anyone else since, neko or not.

Paige shook her head. "I'll escape someday. You can bet on it." She put another spoonful in her mouth delightfully. "What will you call me since I won't tell you my name? I'm probably still not going to tell you, but I am curious."

When Paige took another bite, her head started to throb. She put the bowl down and pressed her hands to her head. "You evil twerp! You have dastardly harmed me again with your magical, sweet foods! Why do you treat me so?" She pressed her hands harder.

Creed started to walk out towards Dreamer slowly. "Hey, girl. It's okay." He continued to talk to her as he approached. When he got close, lightning flashed, and thunder rolled. Dreamer reared, and he jumped back. She took off running around the paddock. "Woah, girl."
