It was just yesterday when the little blue kit opened his eyes for the first time, and ever since he opened his eyes, he's been twice as active.
"Why don't you take a nap?" his mother, Desertpaw asked, licking his pelt clean of soil as he tired to squirm out of her grasp.
"No, I got to go explorin!" he insisted.
"Fine," she said, letting go of him. "But only for a little while." she said, letting out a yawn. She rested her head down on her paws and closed her eyes, slowly falling alseep.
Rabbitkit ran over to the two kits, a wide smile on his face. He was a happy kit, probably because he was oblivious to the unapproving glares the clan gave him and his mother, Desertpaw. Because of the birth, Desertpaw's mate left the clan, her mother killed herself, and her brother won't even talk to her anymore, but Rabbitkit knew nothing about any of it.
"Hiya guys!" he said, "Whatcha doin?" he asked.
-
He nodded and went over to the burried mouse and unburied it. He bit down into it and walked back over to Dapplenight.
"Ready?" he asked, his voice muffled.
-
OOC: How old is she?
IC: "We're home!" she announced. She parked the car and unbuckled Piper. She picked her up and carried her into the house.
-
As Halfheart walked beside her into camp, he glared at a pair of warriors angerly as they snickered "Wow, Halfheart, we didn't know you could pick up a she-cat."
-
"Don't be afraid," she said soothingly, hugging her close. She opened the door. "Want to see your room?"
-
He dropped the mouse in the freshkill pile and slowly walked over to Dapplenight.
"Mind if I sit here, or have you had enough of me yet?" he asked, half joking, half serious.
-
"Okay," she slowly put Piper down and opened the door to her room.
-
"Thanks," he said, then sat down and looked at her.
She's so pretty. he thought to himself.
-
"Mama?" she asked in a hushed whisper, not wanting to wake up any of the kits or queens that were sleeping.
"Yes, darling?" Rainfrost asked, giving the blind kit a lick on the top of her head.
"I'm going to go sit by the entrance of the nursery, okay?" she asked. The nursery was quiet, and quietness frightened Icekit. Why? Just imagine only seeing blackness 24/7 then take away the sound of other cats, and it'd drive you crazy.
"Okay," she purred.
She sniffed the air to see if she could smell anyone she could talk to, but she smelled no one but someone new, someone unfamiliar. Maybe I should introduce myself. she thought, so she stood up and followed the unfamiliar scent over to the cat.
"Hello," she said, stopping a bit far from Summerpaw, but she didn't want to keep walking that she'd bump into her. "My names Icekit. What's yours?"
-
"Sorry," he quickly said, looking away. "It's just..."
-
He was naturally going to say "Because I had to." but that wasn't the full reason. "Because..." he couldn't get it out. He has never been so nice to someone, and sometimes it felt unnatural. He could easily tell her "Because I had to." or "Because I thought I could teach you how to really hunt, but your hopeless." but he actually, unlike everyone else, liked her. "Because you caught my eye." he said, not making eye contact with her.
-
Halfheart stayed quiet, feeling his heart drop. She doesn't feel the same way about me. he cried to himself.
"I better go," he said, beginning to stand up.
-
The black muscluar Tom stepped over the border of Bloodclan, his spooky yellow eyes full of determination as he scanned the air for any hint of cats that belonged to Bloodclan.
He knew he would be taken prisoner, if not killed, but he was here for a reason, and wouldn't leave without it.
He kept walking, but suddenly stopped when he heard the sound of a tree branch snapping up ahead of him. "Come on out," he ordered, "I need to... Speak to you."
He knew Bloodclanners were ones who probably didn't care to hear what an intruder had to say, but at the time, the short-tempered Tom couldn't think of anything else to say.
-
He stopped when he heard the slight disappointment in her voice. He desperately wanted to know what she thought of him, but didn't know how to get it out of her.
-
"Yeah," he said, looking back at her. "But... I need to know something." he said, "I like you..." he admitted, "But... Do you... Do you like me?"

I do post in the advanced board a lot, but I need major help on making longer, more detailed posts.
-
He stood there for a moment, then let out a shakey sigh of relief. And that one she-cat said I'd never get a mate. he thought to himself.
-
He stepped out of the water that seemed to numb his paws and vigorously licked them dry. "Oh, twoleg place?" he asked. "I live with a twoleg." he told the stranger. "But I can't find my way home."
-
He looked over to her with a smile and gave her a lick on top of her head.
-
Either one of you, thanks!
Should I post an example of my usual advanced posts?
