ooc: Savanna went to look for Nadean and Malka in the rouge lands, Masama(rouge leader) came to the river border where Mira, the cubs and the riverside king and queen were and attempted to try to talk to the cubs then crossed the border trying to seem non threatening though Mira stayed untrusting and hostile and Atapa was more reasonable and tried to convince him to leave. Masama ignored him and then threatened to kill his family(he mistook him for the swiftpride king) then crossed back to the rouge side and went off i think in search of Savanna.

ic: Savanna sniffed the air, she could smell her daughter and she wasn't that far. She felt relieved that she would find her. She slowed her run to a walk oblivious that she was being fallowed.

Nadean nuzzled Malka's mane as she walked, mostly to comfort herself. She knew the moment they got back she would be scolded and send to her den to get ready for the ceremony, she wouldn't see Malka until after it was over.

Mira nosed the cubs as they headed back to the dens. She looked at Johtu and touched him with her paw "You ok kid? That was kinda frightening if your a cub."

ShadowSlink I really don't mean to sound rude and I'm really sorry if this is but they are all lions so it would be lion or lioness instead of cat and there is no med cat or med lion Arie is the healer. I know this is a warrior cat's based site and those are the terms that are most often used but it just bugged me. Sorry again if that was mean or rude I really don't mean it in that way at all!

ic: Mira heard the cubs talking and smiled to herself, she was glad her daughters were able to socialize with other cubs. The dens were coming closer into view, feeling relieved that soon they would be safe in the high caves she took a quick head count.

Saffina trotted close to her sister listening on the conversation "I'm pretty sure we all were scared, even mother...she seemed so...little compared to the rouge...But yeah she definitely would have gotten us out of their if she had too" she thought for a moment of how badly things could have been if the lion had decided to come after them, but she noticed her sibling's sudden distance a hurried to catch up with them.

Savanna could see her daughter and started to run to her, she didn't care if Nadean was all cuddled up to the rouge she let stay she was just glad her little girl was ok. Young adult or not she was still her cub. "Nadean!" she was much closer when a roar from somewhere close by caught her attention making her move faster towards her heir. The faster they got out of here the better it would be for them all.

Nadean quickly pulled herself away from Malka when she heard her mother, she was confused that she was there but before she could give a response the wind shifted and the sent of a unknown male lion was heard. This was fallowed by a loud roar that caused Nadean to jump slightly and look around for the source.

Akira looked in the den hearing them, "Mother left looking for my sister, and you'd best listen to Arie or she will make you sleep for days with her weird magic." the young princess knew perfectly well that Arie did not use such things, but she did have herbs that made you sleep for what seemed forever.

What really has me worried is that he is now going after mother..." she wrapped a paw around Saffina remembering how he seemed so intent on the cubs. "Saffina, Raz I don't want you two to leave my sight. It isn't safe anymore for any of you cubs to wander on your own. Kira if you want you can sleep in my den tonight no one will bother you up there."

Saffina rubbed her head on her mother's leg as she was pulled into a hug.

Savannah gave Atapa a questioning stare "Atapa what is the matter?"

ooc: recap Masama came into the Swiftland's and threatened Atapa and Mira who were with the cubs, he tried to talk to the cubs but Mira would not let them. He then went back into the rogue lands looking for Savannah since she crossed the border to look for Nadean and that was "his" territory. Malka and Nadean are still out in his old pride's territory. Savannah found them and is talking to Nadean telling her they need to go back to the dens. Masama sees them and seeing Malka roars for his cousin for help. Atapa went after Masama to help Savannah. Ibasi's is heading towards them hearing the roar but mostly to just see what's going on. Mira brought all the cubs back to the dens and is talking to Djea who asked what happened. Jotu and Raz are wondering where Tavi is.(I think that is all?)

ic: Nadean's ears fell back as King Atapa arrived. "Mom what's going on?" she said moving towards Malka slightly still looking for the source of the roar. Her gaze fell on something in the grass but it was hard to make out.

Savannah looked around and repeated her question. "Did something happen after I went to search for Nadean?" she knew that they needed to get back onto Swiftland territory as soon as possible but he acted like it was life or death.

Mira waited for Kira to answer

Saffina padded up to her sister and Johtu "Tavi is over there guys." she said gesturing to the white cub.

Savanna trotted in silence, there were many questions she wanted to ask her daughter but she wanted to give her some time with Malka. She could see how she acted with the male, or more like recognized it. Under normal circumstances she would have been thrilled but the circumstances were no where near normal and now more than ever they needed the prides to merge. So she left the young adults alone for now, but the moment they were at the dens they would have to rush to get Nadean ready and figure out where Atapa's son had went. Hearing the Riverside King speak, she looked back seeing him talking to one of the rogues that tried to attack them. At first she was going to growl and confront him but once she took in his injured form she frowned attempting to put together what happened. Seeing that Atapa had the situation under control she started walking again.

Nadean half walked half trotted back the way they came, they weren't far from the Swiflands border which made her feel safer. The rogue leader frightened her when he threatened them, which concerned her. She was going to be queen and she couldn't even handle a simple dispute. Though is was much worse than that but he still felt like she should have said something instead of just fallowing her mother. She sighed looking at Malka "...Malka?..."

Saffina laughed at Raz's and Johtu's suggestions "Well you better start running then!" she called crouching down in a playful pounce position.

Mira smiled at Kira "It's no problem dear, now go play and have fun the ceremony will start when my mother and sister return."

Akira was listening to what had happened and felt her blood boil. How dare some rogue have the nerve to threaten her family. Her claw dug into the ground in anger at the lion she hadn't even met, this was the sort of things she did patrols for. She decided she would make more border checks from now on to keep them and the pride's cubs safe.

ic: Nadean chewed on her lip for a second in thought her ears back in a unsure way "Um well I was wondering...since the ceremony will start soon if you would go to it. I'm kinda nervous about this whole thing and it'd be nice if you were there." She said looking at the churning water in front of them getting ready to jump across.

Mira looked at Djea "Hey if you don't mind me asking, Where is Johtu's mother? I know your his sister and I was just curious." the swiftlander princess hoped she hadn't offended the other lioness.

Savannah watched her daughter's body language closely, she could tell she was asking the male something but she couldn't hear what. Which was probably for the best since they needed their privacy for the moment. She Turned back to Atapa making sure he was still there.

ic: Nadean frowned at the riverside King. He had no place to try to command her around. He was in her lands. Sure he may not have liked her friendship Malka but she was about to head to her ceremony so it didn't matter. She crossed the river with a jump and walked passed Atapa with her head held high she sent a reassuring smile to Malka when they got closer to the dens.

Saffina came to stand next to her sister until she bounded off to greet her other family members. She watched them for a moment then looked up at prince Kaine.

Savannah watched her daughter as she went back to her usual self. Though she was knowingly insulting King Atapa, but she was at least acting normal. As they walked further her granddaughter ran up to her pointing out that they had a rogue with them. "Yes Raz I know. He's Atapa's refuge. I think."

Mira gave her a sympathetic look. "Oh, that's so sad. I couldn't imagine what that was like. I bet she was a wonderful mother. " she looked up hearing Kaine saying her mother, sister, Atapa, and Malka were returning with a rogue.

ic: Mira kept a eye on the other cubs and called to them to slow down. She listened to Djea and smiled "I don't doubt that, now if you will excuse me I must go see my sister. I'm surprised mother isn't questioning her yet. Also I think your prides prince doesn't know she is in a mood so I beat save him from a lecture." she trotted to where they were carefully avoiding Kaine and interrupted her twin's response. "Nady dear sister come let's get you ready. It starts within the hour and we wouldn't want you looking like you just climbed out of your dentist now would we?" she said casting the prince a warning glance to be careful with what he said.

Nadean looked at her mate to be with slight distance, she was offended from earlier and seeing him reminded her that this wasn't her choice. "I am obviously unharmed, Mal-" she was cut off by her sibling coming between them and changing the subject. She felt glad for it because she could have said something that she would regret later. She didn't have anything thing against him personally, he just happened to remind her of her unfortunate situation.

ic: Savannah frowned when the cubs approached the rogues. She walked towards them and moved herself between the cubs and the rogue. Just because he was injured didn't mean he still wasn't a threat. "Kira go back to the dens. Now." she said strictly frowning down at the cub in disapproval. She would have asked Djea to take her little brother back too but she wasn't her pride member so that was up to Atapa.

Nadean glanced between her sister and her betrothed then bounded up the paths and into her den where her younger sister Akira was waiting for her. She paused looking at the setting sun before walking up to her sister who gave her a wide smile. Nadean couldn't find it in herself to smile back though and just let her tail droop.

Mira nudged Raz with her paw "Stay with your grandmother until I come find you and your sister. Behave my little one." she said then fallowed her sister up to her den. "Come on Nady don't look so down. It's your ceremony, I know it's arranged but at least he is of royal or mostly royal descent." Nadean look at her sister now just sad "I don't care about that...and sure he's nice but..."
"But he's not Malka?" Akira chirped in with a small tilt of her head at her sisters shocked stares. "W-what do you mean?" she said feeling her cheeks heat up. "Oh come on Nadean, I am not blind. You like him, a lot. But he is a rogue and you are betrothed to combined two prides that will save both. Your heart screams to formally reject the betrothal but your mind knows you would be condemning both to take over and death. Sister I think you should make the best out of your situation. He is quite the looker you should be glad." she bumped her shoulder with her own as bother her older sister's stood there shocked she knew so much. She gave a small laugh at their expressions "Oh don't be surprised, im mother's daughter just as much as you two are. Now we have a ceremony to prepare for and you Nadean are covered in dust."

ic: Savannah watched Kira walk away then looked at the rogue for a moment. She padded to Kaine and Atapa "Shall we get this show on the road? I still need to get Arie but you two can wait on the rock, It's the huge round one right in front of the main path." She started to walk towards Arie's den motioning for Raz to fallow her then paused a though coming to mind. "Oh wait. Do you know how we do ceremonies in the swiftlands?" It occurred to her that they probably did not know how they did royal announcements.

Mira and Akira talked to Nadean while they got ready encouraging her to be more accepting of Kaine.

Saffina sat by the bottom dens, she though of going up to where her mother and aunts were in Nadean's den but her fall from earlier had made her wary of going back up the paths. She decided to wait here until the ceremony started.

"Thank you Arie." Savannah looked down at her grandcub and thought for a moment. "I don't see why not, you'll have to ask her after the ceremony is over. she walked towards the rock then spotted Saffina "Raz go sit with your sister while you wait for your mother." she said since Raz wouldn't be able to stay up on the rock with her. She walked to the rock and jumped up the lower portion to get to the top walking to the edge and over looked the gathered pride. It wasn't to high off the ground to where falling off would severely injure you but high enough to where you could be easily see by those gathered.

Mira smiled at Eira "Not really, were are pretty much done now. Oh look it's starting." she glanced down the path and saw that the prides were gathering by the large rock that most pride announcements would be announced and heirs presented.

Nadean shuffled her paws uncomfortably, she still was against the betrothal but her sister's encouragement did help a little. She looked at her fur which was covered in dust it was now bright and shiny showing off her golden/tan fur.

Akira noticed her sister shuffling her feet and chided her softly "Nady your going to get your paws all dusty if you don't stop."

Saffina looked for a spot to sit and noticed Malka, the little cub hadn't really seen or spoken much to the adult lion but he seemed ok. Though to her he looked like he was upset about something so she decided she would sit by him, at least until her mother came. She trotted to the much larger lion and sat down by one of his front paws looking up at him with a kind smile.

ic: Nadean padded down the path to the rock, she still was saddened by the situation but she tried to not let it show. She held her head high instead and walked with dignity. She stood beside her mother and Kaine looking at the lions gathered. She tried to not feel the sudden sense if despair that she felt when she looked at Malka, she forced herself to look away and instead look at her mate to be. She was surprised to see him looking so down.

Mira fallowed after her sister and went to her cubs next to Malka. She smiled in greeting to him as her mother started to speak.

Savannah brushed her head on her daughter's when she joined them on the rock. "Thank you all for joining us for this joyful day. It's been a rough past few months which is why we are hear, to join the Swift pride and Riverside pride. I know my daughter hasn't been very...accepting of the betrothal but she knows it's for the best of both prides. So without further adieu I officially accept the Riverside pride into my home and their heir as my son-in-law. Nadean, my heir, do you accept Kaine as your mate and king when I step down?" she was slightly worried that she wouldn't accept him but her worries were unneeded "Yes I accept him as my...mate and future king." Nadean said with a slight pause. Savannah nodded and looked at Kaine. "Kaine do you accept my daughter as your mate and future Queen? "

Nadean looked at her new mate and gave him a small smile but didn't say anything. She couldn't trust her voice right now even if on the outside she looked ok.

Mira cheered at the union of the prides, it wasn't very fancy or dramatic but they didnt need all that stuff. She nuzzled her cubs happily
