Lucidity shrugged, "It's holding," he said in answer to Sanus' question. He looked over at Delanie and answered her question as well, "Well- I came out here looking for a break from the blood-thristy maniacs that are wandering the halls." he said, his mouth curving down in dislike towards the cats who enjoyed killing. Sure, it was a nescasary thing, but stripping a cat of their future shouldn't be enjoyed.

The naiad narrowed her eyes, Pluctra was well enough- but after her kind was exiled to the depths, suddenly the mermaid was invading on their territory and staking her home on it. Kayo sniffed quietly, swimming towards the discarded humans who were begining to float to the surface. These mermaids ate the finest fish, while the naiads were forced to feed on human flesh.
    Typical.
Kayo tied the humans together with seaweed, and weighted them with rocks. Sending them down to the depths, where her sisters were waiting for a decent meal.

Amberkit giggled rolling onto her belly to avoid being tickled further. "I'm good, how are you Shimmermoon?" Amberkit asked with a smile- Shimmermoon hung around the nursery often- and so most of the kits knew who she was.

Brokenpaw was startled, she looked at him for a moment, before inclining her head politely. "Thanks," she said, she wasn't going to say anything, but she was hungry too. Sinking her teeth into the still warm flesh of the hare she noted it's unusally sweet flavor. Three bites in she was growing light-headed, she blinked slowly. It slowly dawned on her befuddled brain- this was laced. Her violet-tinted eyes spread wide, and she drunkenly stumbled to her feet in an attempt to run away.

But by then she had consumed too much of it, intoxicated, she stumbled- falling over. To scared to scream.

Kayo- who was a naiad, nodded to the other naiad who was hiding behind her. She swam up curiously, looking over at the mermaid. It was no secret that if a mermaid or a naiad completely left the water then they would lose their tail for legs, and become mortal. She watched from just below the surface, her golden eyes fixed on Derrick's face.

She couldn't help but hold him in a bit of respect- not many humans were so smart as to suspect a mermaid or naiad. Only the foolish deserve to die, she thoughtg, looking up at the boy. And this man was no fool, she broke the surface of the water, wincing as the air touched her skin. "Cut the crap, mermaid. She said, lacking the girl's name. He wont fall for that." she said pointedly, flipping black hair away from her face.

Lucidity snorted, "The air-brained buffoons that pick fights to the death with fellow members of the Elite? Who can only think of how much blood they can spill, so they accuse me of disloyalty just to get their claws in me." he said, with a nod- his mouth twisted into a frown. The white tom quieted, he shouldn't be speaking of the others this way. But he hated how brainless they were, he fell silent.

"It's to late for that now, if the shark allready tasted the blood in the current then it's not stopping for anything. There are to many of us here, it'll be a feeding frenzy in minutes, everyone needs to scatter." Kayo said, and she felt the water shiver around her. "It's close!" she said, and looked up at Derrick, his boat was the only place that was safe- she could not outswim a shark.

Kayo peered into the water, and spotted the hulking object of the shark- closing in fast. "It's run or die, they'll never forgive me for this." Kayo murmered, thinking of her sisters. She bit her lip, and grabbed the rail of the boat. Without waiting for an invitation, she began to haul herself out of the water and into the boat.

Brokenpaw stared at him, the eyes of Maroonjoy flashing through her memory as he too had once leaned over her like this. There was nothing she had to say, no smart reply, not even a death threat. Her mind was muddled, not even the adrenaline could clear the drug from her bloodstream fast enough. I have the brain of a mouse, she thought. "I trusted you, because I wanted to force myself into believing that not everyone wanted to hurt me." she said, knowing even as she said it it was true. But that was just a fantasy, and Brokenpaw didn't believe in fairy tales. "As usual I was wrong."

The naid looked fearfully at Tori- her tail still dangeling in the water. "It is at least for naiads, leaving the water realm and becoming mortal is punishable by death among my kind... If I'm just going to die anyway perhaps its best if the shark takes my life..." she said, begining to lower herself back into the water.

Ooc}} If you could just like, drag her out of the water and into the ship by force, that'd be great. x3

She now hung halfway in the water, Kayo looked down below her, and closed her golden eyes. "I cannot return to the sea and live if I become mortal, and I'll grow old and die out there anyways." She muttered to herself, trying to force herself to let go.
Her webbed hands loosened on the railing, and she began to slide into the water.

Kayo fought to open her eyes, muttering; "May name, is Kayo." struggeling as she opened her golden eyes, she looked at the shark fighting to get into the cave. She approached in slowly and cautionsly, it snapped as she drew close- but she was out of reach. Swimming up so she was above it's head and out of reach of it's mouth, she moved down so she could touch it. She felt around with webbed fingers, before finding it's eye. She curled her hand into a fist and brought it crashing down into the shark's eye- which usually stunned them.
