Faye settled herself onto her bed, "Alrighty then. Chapter One: Discovery." She shifted herself into a slightly more comfortable position, which resulted in Faye tumbling off the bed. "Ok, well chapter one is called discovery." The young woman quickly clamored back into her bed. "Eragon knelt in a bed of trampled reed grass and scanned the
tracks with a practiced eye. The prints told him that the deer had been in the meadow only a half-hour before." Realizing that Ace was on the ground, she frowned scooted over, and patted the area next to her. Then she continued, "Soon they would bed down. His target, a small doe with a pronounced limp in her left forefoot, was still with the herd. He was amazed she had made it so far without a wolf or bear catching her."

Faye smiled and blushed when Ace sat next to her, even though it was her idea in the first place. She continued reading, only stopping to yawn or pinch the bridge of her nose between her thumb and forefinger. "The sky was clear and dark, and a slight breeze stirred the air. A silvery cloud drifted over the mountains that surrounded him, its edges glowing with ruddy light cast from the harvest moon cradled between two peaks." Again she yawned, her eyes shutting tightly and her hands slowly drifting down the page. Almost instantly she perked back up and continued, after all, Kelvin was always happy when she read so in turn, Faye was happy. So she wasn't gonna stop reading now.

OOC: Oh you poor soul, my finals were last week

OOC: They could've gone better, how about yourself?

Faye kept trudging through, her voice had gotten significantly softer and her eyes were watering from how much she was yawning. As she finished the page, her head dropped forward only to be snapped right back up again. "I'm fine, totally and completely fine." Now Faye knew she needed to sleep, but, hey, Kelvin wanted to be read to so she complied. Turning the page and her hand finding the first phrase at the top, Faye kept on reading, her words now becoming more slurred, yet not to the point of sounding like she was drunk or anything of the sort. But that was an indicator that Faye really needed to stop reading and sleep. "And that's," Another yawn. "All for today, best of luck in y'alls lives." With that, Faye closed the book and slipped into her bed, "Someone please turn out the lights on the way out. I may be blind so it's not exactly," She yawned again, "Necessary, but there's no need to waste electricity."

OOC: I think everyone was hoping it would've gone better XD

With a small sigh Faye glanced up at Ace, "Well Kelvin's happy so I'm happy. It's good for him to get as much happiness in this place..." She trailed off and then she laughed at Ace's next words, "He did? Thanks for alerting me." She said in mock anger, but ultimately failing because of the small smile that remained on her face. "Alright, goodnight, Sweetheart." Faye matched Ace's volume with her last sentence, dropping her book beside her and curling up in her bed, at this point all she needed to do was close her eyes and she'd be out. So getting into a comfortable position on her stomach, and closed her eyes and she fell asleep just like that.

Throughout the night, Faye woke up twice. Once because she kicked a book off her bed and it made a loud noise and hurt. And the other time was because her dream (people who've been blind since birth have auditory dreams) involved lots of loud things like gunshots and people screaming. So when it was proper time to wake up, Faye was still sleeping, and praying that Kelvin wouldn't run into her room. Not only would he have a sleep deprived young woman pissed off, Kelvin would also get a book thrown at him. Also Faye wasn't exactly in the most graceful or flattering position at the moment, she (after her two incidents that woke her up) wasn't even using a pillow, one of her hands taking the place of it, the other hand was hanging off of the side of her bed. Her left leg was bent and her right leg straight, and on top of incoherent mumbling. So if Kelvin or -God forbid- Ace walked in on her like this, she wouldn't be too happy.

OOC: I totally would too, except I'm going to be slightly inactive the next week or two

Faye was then rudely jerked from the state of sleep when someone decided to dash into her room at seven am. "THE HELL DO YOU WANT!?" She threw a book off of her dresser (with quite some force) at her the person who woke her up. Then a few seconds passed and realisation took over her face. "Oh crap. Kelvin, I'm sorry if I hit you. Like I'm really terribly sorry." Faye rushed out of bed, not caring about her appearance and how she was awake without a cup of coffee in her hands. The book she threw at Kelvin was one of her larger books - 517 pages to be exact. A 517 pages hard back book. "I swear Ace is gonna kill me, or you, you seem out of breath. Tell me, why did you sprint to my room?"

OOC: I'm probably gonna be fairly inactive this week, I'm going to Mexico until the 24th and I'm leaving tomorrow morning just a heads up.

With a small laugh, Faye sat back on her bed. She placed the book that was thrown at Kelvin only minutes prior, right beside her, then placed it back onto her night stand. It was strange that Kelvin was in such a fowl mood, she hoped that she and Ace didn't rub off on him. But on the one hand, Faye was quite concerned for Kelvin's sudden change of character, on the other, Faye was very amused by Kelvin's ranting. The only thing that was the same through and through was Faye genuinely hoped that she didn't act like this during her rants.
With another gentle laugh, the young lady responded as best she could to the six year old's questions. "No one is up because most of the older people like me and Ace require more sleep. I don't understand why, but that's just the way it works." Faye paused to push some hair out of her face, "When you're my age I bet you'll understand."
When Kelvin greeted her properly with his normal cheery self, she just smiled with a small shake of her head. "Here's a tip, Kel, if you wake Ace up -which I strongly advice against- hide behind something, or have coffee or something with caffine. I know that helps me." And as soon as Ace pushed open her door, the book was back in her hands, and then halfway across the room when Faye then again realized that she screwed up..."I really need to stop throwing things at people."

OOC: School just got out and stuff. It's 8 here so I'm up...yay

"Oh, Kelvin, whether you like it or not you're gonna be my age. It's not that bad, sure you can't do things anymore like go to public places in your pajamas because apparently it's 'frowned upon'. But you get more freedoms, so your not so constricted." You also realize you'll never get adopted.
Faye sighed with relief when she heard the book hit the floor instead of Ace. Then she just rolled her eyes at his next response, "I hit Kelvin that has to amount for something." Faye you sound like a child abuser, stop talking.
"Kel," She looked behind her at where Kelvin was. "He's not going to hurt you," Then she turned to look at Ace with an arched eyebrow, "Right?" Awaiting Ace's response, Faye stood up, picked up her book (which wasn't that far off from hitting him), and sat back down.

In mock anger Faye responded to Ace with, "Just because I'm blind and short does not mean I'm not violent. I mean, I punched a guy yesterday. Remember?" Faye stood up and walked to her closet and started rummaging as Ace and Kelvin continued to talk, Uh no. Nope. Why do I even own this? Hell no. Winter. Winter. Again, why? Dress? Nooo. Without a second thought, Faye sat down where her feet were.
"I've run out of things to wear. You guys are in charge of picking out my outfit. Have fun." Now Faye realized that this wasn't the best idea, but she really didn't seem to care, because whatever they picked out would be better than her pajamas.

OOC: Well...I can officially say I've danced with a drunk man on a pirate ship

Faye blinked in surprise. "Wow, I didn't think you'd actually do that. This is why I love you two." She gushed with a smile, rising to her feet and heading to the bathroom. "I trust you guys won't let me go out looking horrendous." Faye felt around for her brush and started the difficult process of brushing out her hair.
At one particularly nasty knot all you heard was "SON OF A.... FISH..." Then Faye facepalmed for almost swearing in front of Kelvin.
Soon after she walked back out. "I look ok, right?" Faye asked as she sat back on her bed.

OOC: The meaning is quite literal, I actually danced with a drunk man on a pirate ship

"Ya, it's just something I like to say, Kel." Faye called out to the younger male, hoping that Kelvin would take Ace's advice and not ever repeat that phrase. Once exiting the bathroom and sitting back down on her bed, Faye blushed at Ace's words. "Thanks you guys, really appreciate it." She replied, quickly running a hand through her brown locks.
As soon as the clothes were placed next to her, Faye leaped up from her bed, smile on her face and clothes in hand. "Ok I'll be right back." With that, Faye waltzed into the bathroom once more, closed the door, changed then came back out. "You guys didn't do too bad. I'm impressed."

Faye laughed a little and spun around, "I look great from all angles." She exclaimed with a large smile taking over her face. When Ace asked his question, Faye just shrugged, "I don't know. I like to eat, and so that's what I'm going to do now."
So Faye was off, down the hall and down the stairs to the kitchen. At this point she had memorized how to make coffee, where everything is, etc. So she did just that. A few minutes later, Faye was sitting at a table with coffee and a bagel.

OOC: Same, my muse is six feet under, but I'm back home so...yay

OOC: It was fantastic, I didn't really enjoy the plane rides though - too much turbulence

After taking another sip of her coffee, Faye decided to break the silence, "So, how did everyone sleep?" She asked that without much enthusiasm, so it kinda came out sounding like she didn't really care, or was just an awkward person.
Faye arched an eyebrow as she heard someone - probably Kelvin - attempting to grab something to which Faye stood up and grabbed a step stool (she knew where is was because she was the last person who used it), "Here you go, a step stool, a short person's best friend. Enjoy!"

OOC: I can't ever sleep on planes. I like the ground a whole lot more

Hearing Kelvin drag the step stool with him, Faye winced at the sounded and mumbled, "Glad I could help you..." She knew he didn't say anything about being grateful for the stool, but she said it anyways. Silently praying for Kelvin to stop hauling the stool around to give her ears a break from the screeching sound of the stool on the floor.
Faye merely smiled when Kelvin replied to her rather dull voiced question. And when Ace turned the question back on her, her response was, "Other than getting woken up by Kelvin, I slept alright." Taking another long sip from her coffee, Faye added, "But I'm just happy I have coffee."

Faye laughed a bit, and then decided to tease Kelvin. "Ya, Kel is was very rude of you to wake us up. It better not happen again, because I have even heavier books." She broke her attempt of being slightly intimidating by letting a smile crawl its way onto her face. Once more she took a sip from her coffee with the smile still on her face.

OOC: My muse is just gone...

"Oh so young and naïve." Faye waved off Kelvin's a little too enthusiastic response with a small shake of her head. Soon she finished off her breakfast, cleaned off her dishes and sat back down at the table. "So, anything interesting happen to anyone, ever?"

A young woman by the name of Ophelia (she always found her name terrible when it came to reading Shakespeare), was always up fairly early. Five years of having morning training in the summer will do that to a person. Now Ophelia knew that after she woke up there was no going back, so she didn't even try. She gingerly touched the dog tags that hung around her neck with a sigh, it had been three years after the officer arrived at the academy to alert Ophelia of the news, the news that her brother, her best friend, was shot in the head in Afghanistan. With a deep breath to clear her mind, Ophelia rolled out of bed and headed to the bathroom. Upon her arrival, she looked into the mirror, and took note of her wild mane called bed head and her bruised arm. Where the bruise came from you may ask? Well boxing included getting hit, and hard. It didn't surprise her, and she didn't think it surprised her classmates anymore either. After all, they were used to seeing her with sore muscles and bruises galore. Quickly Ophelia brushed out her hair, leaving it down, and changing into a pair of bleached out high waisted shorts and a plain navy blue v neck. Not wasting another second, the young woman was bounding down the stairs, following the scent of sausage, automatically knowing that Kasai was in the kitchen. "Morning." She greeted, settling on toast with a whole lot of fruit for her breakfast. She got all necessary ingredients out for said meal, she wasn't a particularly picky eater, she'd eat most things, she just preferred the healthy side of foods. Once the toast was all finished turning into toast and being smothered with strawberry jam, and berries on top of berries were stacked onto her plate, Ophelia sat down near Kasai and started eating.
