Andre scuffed his hair and stuck out his tongue. "Come on, it'll be me and those beasts in makeup if you don't go. You never go" he said jovially, giving him the over dramatic pouty-lip. "Besides, Kelly said she has this new room in her stupidly large house that you can tell you secrets to, and only your closest friend will hear them" he added. "Of course, all it really is is an empty room, I asked around. But won't it stil be fun?". Andre had wanted the room to really work, but he had several assurances that it didn't, and it just helped you release your fears by speaking them. Sounded great to the stressed teen, who was terrified someone would find out he loved Ito and hurt his close friend for it.

"Yay~!" he said happily, hugging Ito from the side and grinning. Finally, maybe this nice guy would get some outside air and more friends. As his mind raced with thoughts of a place where he could speak of his worst fears without concern, the school was in front of them. Andre's face morphed again, into the brave and well-worn mask of pompous handsomeness that so attracted those females attending their high school. A million pointless meetings and rehearsals awaited him, and Andre mentally sighed. Well, here was school life in all of it's glory. This was supposedly the top of the food chain, the best place to be socially. What a horrible place in reality. Andre would miss Ito for the classes that they did not share. He would loath every meeting where everyone kissed his butt and said yes, and he would pine for time spent with the only person he really cared about.

School passed like a rock down a stream for Andre, boring, slow and passively without event. The party was the next day, and he was actively looking forward to it. A party with Ito involved, finally. He considered texting him a few times, but assumed he was busy in a class somewhere.
OOC: Timeskip?

Andre was in the most horrible part of his school day: Gardening Club. Tons of the prettier school girls attended, so he was expected to, but he hated growing stuff. He loved flowers and the beauty the contributed to the world, but he loathed watching something grow soooo slowly. It was just depressing. Today, the girls were preoccupied with someone's Venus Flytrap that they had brought, so he meandered through the roses in the school garden. One particularly lovely pink rose somehow reminded him of Ito, so he turned to ask if he could pick it. The grower of said rose blushed scarlet and nodded. He plucked the soft bloom and smelled the sweet aromas, then tucked the stem into the top of his tank. The creator of the humble rose was absolutely thrilled, and her comrades were seething with envy. But Andre only wanted the simple thing to show Ito when they got off school. Funny, how fate works.

Alec was known by the cheerleaders as the guy almost-as-cute-as-Andre. He absolutely hated that. He had envied Andre's #1 spot with every girl in school since Andre came there. Of course, Andre was stronger than he was, so he never dared to approach him violently. On the other hand, his little frient Ito was weak, kind, and to top it off, gay too. The perfect target for an envious and barbaric jock. Today, Alec was decked out in full jock attire; somehow he had convinced the principal to let him wear his football uniform. As Ito was leaving the room, a large and muscular arm blocked the doorway. Everyone else had left. Alec smirked. "Well, hello there pretty boy. Where's your boyfriend at?" asked Alec, referring jokingly to Andre. His other fist roughly mussed Ito's hair.
-
"I don't see him. You always need him around because you're so weak, so g-" Alec's taunting was abruptly stopped by a swift and painful punch in the gut. His eyes crossed and he dropped to his knees. Andre watched him fall, then grabbed his chin and forced him to look in his eyes. "Leave. Him. Alone" Andre said in a voice just above a whisper. "We-we were just having.... a chat. S-sorry Andre" Alec mewed pitifully. Andre pulled his hand off of his chin in disgust, and then Alec made a mad dash out of the classroom, book bag flying behind him. Andre waited until he was out of sight, then laughed. He turned his attentions to Ito, and, without thinking, gently arranged his hair back to the way it was that morning. "I was going to see why you were missing from the cafeteria. Did he hurt you?" he asked, his eyes scanning Ito for injuries of any kind.

"If you have no other obligations to fill, I'm sick of sitting at that table with Kelly and Madeline. Want to join me in my relaxation lunch in the school garden?" he asked. Then, he remembered the rose in his shirt. He pulled it out and twirled it. "Also, I thought this was nice-looking so I brought it from Garden Club. Opinions?" he added, trying his best not to add that he thought it reminded him of Ito's sweet and soft nature, like the petals. What sentimental nonsense, he thought flinchingly. Surely, it would frighten his friend. From down the hallway, Alec was nursing his extremely painful gut pain. Another reason why he never challenged Andre. He was just so much stronger than the uppity jock.
-
"Then it's yours. Here" he said, holding out the delicate flower and bowing his head dramatically. "Now, I am absolutely starving so I shall be off to eat my lunch. Off we go" Andre added, turning towards the well-organized gardens and their inviting solitude. Outside, the heat was still on full blast but the wind was keeping everything at alright temperatures. Andre took a long breathe of the pure air, then shook his long hair and sat on a convenient stone bench for two. He motioned for Ito to sit beside him, then opened a beautiful Bento box containing teriyaki chicken and soft, fresh white rice. He detached the chopsticks on the side and began munching happily away. His mother was from Ireland originally, but the woman loved to cook like a pro, and she regularly surprised Andre with beautiful and delicious lunches that inspired envy and awe in his lunch companions.

The comforting heat and relaxation that Kaleb's clothes provided her wrapped Adeline in a deep and fearless sleep. Familiarity surrounded her subconscious sleeping mind: Kaleb's room, and the way he smelled so nice. It was... Friday. A peaceful, relatively quiet Friday. That had dangerous and treacherous secrets hidden in store for the newest happy couple on the block. Kaleb and Adeline, who had been best friends since forever, but only last night admit there was something between them that was much more than friendship.
Intelligence of their new found love had reached the person who would loath this attraction the most: Lovely and poisonous Raquelle. Raquelle was queen bee of their high school, pompous, beautiful, and set on making Kaleb her boy toy. Kaleb was the cutest and most vulnerable target in school, and the cruel blonde haired girl wouldn't let her prize slip away without a challenge. In her large, complicated mind, Kaleb was already hers. So when her prized lapdog Lance informed her through the grape vine that so-and-so and found them kissing in a spare classroom, her blood boiled with rage and confusion. What could the handsome boy possibly see in the fragile, sweethearted brunette? She was nerdy and unpopular and shy. This would have to be remedied with a rather peppermint ending. While stewing over this now critical matter, Raquelle came up with a devious plan. She would command Lance to kidnap Adeline, and then she would figure something out from there. In her deepest subconscious, Raquelle was planning murder. But even she didn't know it.
"Raquelle, I've found them."
Raquelle gave him one of her signature demeaning but charming smiles. "Darling, I would be concerned for your mental health if you hadn't" she quipped. "Where?".
-
"Ehhh... yes. But honestly, it's not worthy of inspection" Andre replied, smiling and picking at his Bento box. Yum yum. The wind toyed experimentally with his purpl-brown hair teasingly, making it flow this way and that. Another soft flower, this one a pretty white magnolia, caught his eye. Andre casually picked it and tucked the bloom behind his ear. Then, he resumed his ravenous munch on lunch. When no meal appeared in Ito's hands, he eyed him suspiciously. "Where is your lunch?" he asked. He had better have a lunch, he thought ominously. Otherwise Andre would force him to take his gourmet meal. Andre figured he could always grab something from the cafeteria or something. Ito's lunch and well-being was much more important.
-
Andre noticed his friend's reaction to the flower, and while Ito glanced down, his heart took a leap in his chest and he smiled. Eventually, he would have the courage to tell him how happy it made him that Ito found that cute. When Ito said he wasn't hungry, his face fell and he adapted a grumpy posture. "Uh-uh, Ito. Forgot to pack it again?" he asked, one eyebrow quirking quizzically. If this boy forgot his lunch, an answer would be procured. Maybe he still had time to run to the cafeteria and back and still have some peaceful time with Ito. He hoped so, because he had this feeling that the lunch was either forgotten or misplaced.
-
He frowned. He had worried for weeks recently that Ito didn't have enough to eat at home, but this was looming proof. He just hoped that he was wrong. "I will be right back" Andre grinned, dashing off to the lunch hall to fetch food. As he sat up, he set the Bento in Ito's lap and tapped it with his finger once, to say without words that the meal was Ito's to eat. The pretty flower that adorned his hair fell in front of the bench as he ran off. After a few minutes of silence in the garden, he arrived panting with a tray of some mediocre school food and began eating happily. When he sat back down, the cafeteria food rested on a tray in his own lap.
-
"I do have to" he laughed before he dashed. When he was back in his seat, he turned to Ito again. "For whatever reason you're not eating lunch, Ito, I will make sure you do" he said, frowning. Then, he noticed the magnolia on the ground. Andre smiled and grabbed it, tossed it in the air, and caught it again. Then, he put it behind Ito's ear and nodded approvingly. "Perfect" he said. Then, he grabbed the chopsticks from the Bento box and scooped up a mouthful. He handed the utensil to Ito and inclined his head.
-
Andre smiled as Ito ate the delicious lunch. "She's a cooking goddess. It's epic" he laughed, shaking his head. He turned his head towards his own lunch, which consisted of some interestingly textured mashed potatoes and some likely disgusting carrots. Without a care in the world, he cheerfully began eating as if it were a delicacy. In the future, Andre was mentally planning asking his mother to prepare two lunches, and to let him take one for Ito every school day. It was just unfair that the kind boy ate nothing.
-
"Anytime, Ito. It's delicious if you're hungry enough" he joked. His eyes were momentarily hypnotized by the beauty of the flower in Ito's hair, then the bell broke his reverie abruptly. "See you in 6th period, watch out for Alec" he said, standing up. He gave him a kind look, then jaunted off towards more listless classes without Ito. His next hope for happiness would be after school, because there were (sadly) no more classes with Ito for the day. The rest of the school day would be absolutely boring and filled with fangirls that he could really do without.
-
Alec walked in the room like he usually did: like a thunderstorm on the prowl. He spotted his favorite target and smiled deviously, but in all honestly he had no evil intentions. He had learned a rather painful lesson from Andre earlier that day, and he decided to leave Ito alone. He closed his eyes momentarily in remembrance of the earlier pain, then sat in his seat impartially.
-
The entire class passed without incident from Alec. There was an interesting event from the right of Ito, though. His favorite female friend, Lola was watching him draw the pretty rose. Lola was a beautiful girl that no one noticed because she chose to be inconspicuous. If she had wanted to, she could be one of the most popular girls in school. It just didn't appeal to her at all. She tilted her head and smiled kindly. "Does that pretty thing have something to do with Andre?" she asked in a soft whisper to detract attention. Lola was perceptive and clever, she had figured out Ito's love for Andre a long time ago. She approved and cheer him on at every opportunity.
-
"Come onnn, Ito. It's obvious. When are you going to tell the man? Might as well try" she teased, her blue-green eyes glowing. Lola absolutely loved Ito's attraction for Andre, she thought it was cute. Her main beloved was anime, and her true soul mate was manga. There was no place for another in her heart besides something produced by Japan. Ito and Andre were like a couple in a manga for her. She rolled her eyes, leaned over, and effortlessly drew Andre holding the rose. She was a natural artist and she had mastered drawing anime.

"13022. Just down the road. Brick house."
"Oh, how quaint" Raquelle commented, imagining the little home. Likely Kaleb's, since she knew that Adeline's parents were strict and bossy lawyers, so the little nerd girl wouldn't bring Kaleb to their house quite yet if they had started dating. Besides, if her suspicious were correct... Anyways. Her green eyes focused again as Lance started talking.
"Also, I think they did something else. Adeline was stark naked with Kaleb when I first saw 'em."
There was a pause that felt like pure ice. Her eyes froze with fury and her fingers tapped the counter with annoyance. Raquelle's expression exuded something pure evil for a moment, but it faded. Her perfectly sculpted face returned to it's casual smirk. "How long were you watching, dirty boy?" she questioned jokingly. Then the matter at hand returned.
"Commence plan?"
Her eyes flickered with malice and intelligence. "Of course. Quickly. Do you know where to bring her?" she responded. This plan seemed like it would work like a charm. Effortless and perfect, it would (at the very least) convince Kaleb never to go near Adeline ever again.
-
Lola tucked a stray strand of pure blue behind her ear and rolled her eyes. "It's so simple, Ito. Forget that he's straight. He has to know either way" she responded. Her pretty drawing of Andre finished, she handed it to Ito. Then, she focused and drew another picture, this one depicting Ito and Andre holding the rose together and staring into each other's eyes. While she was finishing the details of this next work of art, Lola imagined the scene in her mind. She almost wished she could follow her best friend around so that she could write a story about their relationship.
