The next day, Sofia woke up in the comfort of her own bed. With messy blonde hair, she turned over on her side as her eyes opened. "Ugh..." She quietly groaned and rubbed her eyes with the palms of her hands. It was definitely a long night. She didn't sleep as terribly as she thought, but it still wasn't really a good rest. A knock sounded at her white wooden door, followed by a gentle voice. "Sophie, honey?" The girl swung her legs over the side of her bed, getting ready to answer the door. "Yeah, mom?" She asked with a long yawn, and walked toward the door dressed in purple pajamas decorated with mini white polka dots. Sofia opened the door, her eyes meeting directly to her mother's. She was an aging woman, but still kept soft features similar to Sofia's. Her blonde hair was shared with her mother, as well as her light blue eyes. "A boy named Bill called for you. He said he wanted to see you at his house as soon as possible?" The shorter woman explained with curiosity in her voice. "He isn-" Sofia cut her off with a playful eye roll. "No, he isn't my boyfriend or anything." Her mother shrugged, and walked off after delivering the message. "Just remember you have school tomorrow, dear." Sofia responded with a nod, not expecting her mom to even see. Sofia closed the door, and took a deep breath. Back to Bill's house? What else was wrong now...? Who else did he contact? The clock hadn't even hit 12:00 in the morning yet.

Alex rolled his eyes at Han's joke, but couldn't help from letting loose a small chuckle. He probably would be too chewy. Although he personally didn't know how humans would taste and how they would be textured. "Yeah, you're right. We should go now." Alex quickly slipped on his dark brown boots, cuffing the tops about halfway down to the heel. "Lead the way, madame." Alexander said with a smirk, and waited for his friend to take the lead. Sneaking out wasn't something he did often, and if any of the two would be better at sneaking around, it would be Hans.

Bill opened his refrigerator door, the cool air grazing against his body. He wore a simple gray shirt with denim jeans, his socked feet on the tile as his eyes scanned the refrigerator's contents. A small smile appeared on his lips after he grabbed a carton of milk that wasn't quite empty yet. He grabbed a bowl, a box of cereal, and started to make breakfast even though it was later in the day. His house was empty aside from him, and near silent besides the faint sound of the television from the living room. As usual, his parents weren't home. His mother and father had just left for a work a couple hours ago. Once he finished making his bowl of cereal, he dropped a metal spoon inside the clear glass bowl. He was expecting the people he had called any minute now.

(You can decide who else Bill had called to help with the little "mission".)

Planet Titan was known to be the most powerful and developed planet in the Coridian system. Affairs between its government was relatively peaceful, and the inhabitants each having a place on the bustling planet. One location on this planet was known as Theta City. This city specialized in advancement of technological creation. Historically, the city held great importance. The first use of functional holograms and other major technological wonders could be traced here. Purified water surrounded the land, always kept at a safe constant level. Around the Coridian system, Titan was rumored to be a paradise and for good reason.

"Aw, come on!" A female's voice complained from inside a store. The sixteen year old girl huffed and crossed her arms over her chest. The female was dressed in a white one-piece outfit, the sleek material outlining her body's petite shape. She repeatedly tapped her foot on the white tile floor of the establishment as the clerk explained from the other side of a counter. "We can't sell that type of stuff to just anyone. I already told you unless you have the authorized identification, the answer is no." The silver haired female shrugged. "Alright." The man blinked in surprise, noticing her sudden acceptance of the store policy. "A-Alright then.." The man responded, watching as she left the shop.

Of course she wasn't going to stop there. She was going to get those parts one way or another. Two clear sliding doors automatically parted, allowing the girl to exit from the store. Gently, the two doors slid shut once she was outside. Hovering vehicles made their way down the street, nearly all driven by computers while people relaxed on their way to their destination. She stood on the smooth sidewalk pavement for a moment before poking her head back into the store after the doors slid open once again. "I'm getting those parts, you know!" She shouted across the store, flashing a playful smile at the middle aged man. He rolled his eyes in return, glad to see the doors shut once she finished her last little comment.

    Marianna "Mari" Vexen

Mari stood at the front of the store, thoughts flooding in and flocking out of her head. The store had to close at some point. Could she hack into the alarm system, and open the doors without being caught? She has never done something like that, but these parts she needed were important. Maybe she could come back another day and expect a different employee? No... The policy would still be the same. She needed that authorization or break in without getting caught. Those were her two options.

The girl's eyes immediately locked with the stranger's once he spun out and landed in front of her. Thankfully for him, Mari hadn't noticed his stumbling in an attempt to avoid bumping into her. "Yeah. I needed to get some parts for something I'm building." Mari suspiciously began, looking the blue haired boy up and down with a raised eyebrow. Was he eavesdropping on her conversation with that employee? Looking back at it, there wouldn't have been much difficulty to listen in. The two were far from quiet as Mari tried to negotiate with the adult. "Two drones. I needed some parts that could enable gas emission. I'm not eighteen, so that guy won't sell it to me." She began her explanation, not expecting him to understand. As far as she knew, he was a random boy that was just browsing around the store for general tech. "I don't expect you to understand, but it's just so... ugh!" Mari's eyes turned back to the two sliding doors, glaring at the man who was now restocking supplies as his back was turned.

Mari turned her attention back to the boy in front of her, noticing his eyes shut. Before she could ask if he was okay, he had pulled out a device. She allowed herself to be tugged over with Xenos, not before stumbling over her own two feet for just a moment. "Uh. Yeah, guess that's him. That ugly face looks familiar." She responded. That was definitely the guy, but what was a little bit of his ID going to do? Taking a look into any person's identification wasn't exactly rocket science.

The girl stopped along with the teenager once they made it to another block with an ominous alleyway. She listened to his conversation over the phone, her eyes checking their surroundings for anyone else's presence. Besides the occasional hover car zooming across the street, this area was dead. "You just lied to a guy about his wife soon to be dead and now you want me to follow you into a dark alleyway..." After a brief silence, she spoke again. "Sure, why not." Mari grinned, following into the long stretch of parallel walls that cast a deep shadow down the pathway.

Mari crouched and watched as the boy typed away on his computer, her curious eyes examining the screen. She knew he was tampering with coding, something that wasn't quite legal to do. However, she admired his resourcefulness and skill. The small girl stood up along with him, a slight surprised expression plastered on her face. She thought he was just some insignificant boy, but that didn't seem to be the case anymore. "I want you to come with me." Mari explained, using her soft hand to grab his and run back to the store. This boy was definitely interesting, and there were questions that needed to be asked. How did he hack into the system so easily like that? What was his name?

    Marianna "Mari" Vexen

The twenty-one-year-old woman sat with small legs crossed. Under her small frame, was a circular white seat that gently hovered a few feet above the floor in the Premier's office. A light-blue tinted display screen rested between her knees. At the ends of screen were two spheres she named "Helios" and "Luna". Together, they formed her computer she completed most of her work on. Her eyes searched the screen for anything of value. There was nothing but a static gray image and numbers struggling to form an algorithm. "Not yet. They're definitely not making this easy for me." She perked up, and added another comment. "Speaking of done yet... I can go on break after this, right? I haven't had breakfast, and I could've sworn my stomach growled a few minutes ago." Mari pointed her eyes to the Premier's, a hopeful smile growing on her facial expression.

Before the man could give her a response, the static image disappeared. Instead, gray audio waves danced across the screen. "There we go! I think this deserves a little reward, wouldn't you say so sir?" A delicate finger tapped the screen, the audio waves changing to black. The transmission was now sent to the Vindicate's ship. Simultaneously, almost all computers capable of audio output began clearly transmitting the Premier's message. Including Xenos's beloved laptop.

Mari took careful steps once they entered the shop. The first thing her eyes pointed to were the cameras. They lay limp, indicating their deactivated state. This almost sounded to good to be true. Her eyes fell onto Xenos while he was turned around examining the cameras himself. This boy intrigued her more and more as time went on. Snapping back into reality after hearing his question, she brushed a strand of silver hair back into it's crescent shape near her rounded cheek. Partners in crime wasn't something she would define this as. Maybe... two people working together in somewhat illegal activity? Practically the definition of partners in crime... "Oh! Yeah, uh... I've just been working on them for a while. I want to program and equip them with tactical gases just in case things go wrong. Besides, it would be pretty cool, right?"

Mari's eyes searched the numerous shelves inside the store. Wires, display screens of all shapes and sizes, computer chips... miscellaneous. She made her way near the corner of the store, a shelf filled with items that didn't quite fit into categories listed in main aisles. There, she found a row of small boxes about the size of her palm. "Aha!" Snatching up two boxes and cradling them in her arms, she turned to face Xenos. He was tapping his foot. "You're not in a rush, are you?" Mari asked with a grin, walking up to his figure. She didn't seem to care about their limited time. Right now, she just felt like chatting for a bit. The young girl focused her attention on her partner, admiring his appearance for the first time. Her cheeks blushed a slight red. Mari's never developed intimate feelings for a boy, or anyone for that matter. With him, she began to feel something different.

"Got the job done, didn't I?" Mari asked with a chuckle. She hopped off of the hovering seat, which bobbed up and down before resetting to a steady height above the floor. "Will do!" A bright smile was flashed in his direction. The petite woman dressed in her sleek black jumpsuit turned around, exiting the office with the elongated screen in her arms. Finding Valeria should be an easy task. Just listen to the sounds of employees scrambling to do their jobs as effectively as possible. If Valeria was around, every person in their right minds made sure not to slip up.

What should she eat? Something healthy or maybe a little treat for the day? After all, it was pretty hard work hacking into The Vindicate's systems. Yeah. She was entitled to a treat for the day. "Alright! Onward to the cafe!" Mari swiped a hand across the screen, allowing the tinted display to retract into both drones. The two robots' emitted a soft blue LED light from their centers. They silently hovered at her sides above each shoulder while she continued down the long hallway outside of the Premier's office. His door was the only one built into the hallway, requiring plenty of room. Reaching two large shut steel doors at the end of the hallway, her finger tapped a clear screen that illuminated a bright green afterward. Waiting a few moments, the two steel doors pulled apart, revealing a spacious elevator room that could comfortably fit about twenty people. Mari stepped inside, allowing the doors to shut. "Oh... Gotta find Valeria first." The female sighed, letting the elevator smoothly carry her down to her requested floor after choosing one of the dozens of selections.

    Marianna "Mari" Vexen

"Mmmhm..." Mari hummed, keeping her eyes on the boy. Sounds like that no actually meant yes. "What!? Checking you out?" The girl's cheeks now transformed to a brilliant red from her light blush. "No! Actually, maybe. Probably." Her brief panic at his question had relaxed to nonchalance. However, the truth is she was checking him out. Subconsciously. Just for a second. Nothing major. Just a little extended observation of his physical features. She led the way toward the exit, two boxes still cradled in her arms. "Marianna Vexen. People just call me Mari." She answered, then asked him a question of her own. "Your name? It's something nerdy, right?" She decided to tease him just as he did her with his previous comment. The door's entrance opened, allowing the two to exit as easily as they entered.

    Marianna "Mari" Vexen

"Xenos? That's it?" Mari asked, her eyes holding a sense of confusion. The girl shrugged, deciding not to think much on it. It was pretty unusual to lack a surname. Maybe he didn't know who his parents were? Whether that was the case or not, it didn't matter to her. That name did have a nice ring to it. Xenos. "Know what? I think I do love your name just enough!" She teased after receiving his playful nudge. Hearing his request, her eyes blinked twice with wonder.

"Something... fun?" She asked, unsure of what exactly his idea of 'fun' is. Her soft gaze followed his hand, watching his open palm. She could tell that dusk wouldn't take much longer to begin. Her parents may end up getting worried if she didn't return home soon... but what were a few more hours outside of the house? "Yup! Why not? Sounds like a plan, Xenos!" Mari rolled one of the boxes into her opposite arm, the two forming a stack that reached just under her collarbone. She lay her hand on top of his, her lips curling into a smirk.

Ooc: The feels. They are sinking in now. ;(

    Marianna "Mari" Vexen

Mari followed along at Xenos's side, her eyes occasionally wandering around the area. The streets were busy as usual, and the occasional citizen walking to wherever they had to be. Don't these people have kids to go home to or jobs? She thought to herself, her body shivering at the thought of kids. While she was still a kid herself, just the thought of having one seemed trivial. Of course they were disgusting, slobbery, and loud. However, some were actually cute. Key word being some.

Mari kept quiet as Xenos led the way, her focus directed on various happenings as they walked the streets. One thing was for sure about Theta; there was always something interesting to look at. From holograms to different types of flying vehicles to highly advanced robots. Robots were very intriguing to the girl. The way they worked, carrying out computerized processes, even understanding their complex 'minds'. "Hm? This little place?" She asked once they arrived at the building. It's size paled in comparison to the titanous structures in the same proximity. "I don't think so. No?" Her hand squeezed his a bit tighter, admiring the safety she felt with her hand enclosed in his. It was... nice. The girl watched as he pressed his thumb to the scanner, watching in curiosity as the door opened revealing the floating panel. "Uh, yeah! That's cool!" To think that this 'secret entrance' could have right under her nose the many times she walked these streets. As if she was the one showing him the way, she dashed onto the panel, dragging Xenos along with her.

    Valeria Artis

The rhythmic sound of heels clicking against the floor echoed down the hallway. A female's hand with polished pink nails opened the door. The Premier's second-in-command, Valeria Artis had just arrived. Her posture was kept erect as usual, her eyes focused and steady as a hawk's. The woman closed the door behind her, keeping the transparent screen held in her hand and supported against her chest.

Valeria noticed The Premier was in the middle of explaining his request to The Vindicate. Scum of the galaxy that Titan needed to call upon help for. His second-in-command decided to wait in front of the closed door, her eyes carefully watching the man for a signal. "This is Valeria Artis, signing off." Her voice radiating confidence and power into the earpiece's microphone with just a few words. She brought an index finger to her left ear, tapping the black device thus shutting it off momentarily. This was going to be more important than any slight inconvenience she may be contacted about.

    Some important info...

    Alexander-apprentice & Jhin-familiar

As usual, Alexander was somewhere he really had no business being. After hearing two Masters gossip about an interesting rumor, he 'coincidentally' followed the two Summoners throughout the Delve. The young apprentice had been eavesdropping on the conversation since it started at the stables, all the way to the main house, then heading toward the sleeping quarters. The day had just begun, the skies clear and a light breeze picking up. It was easy to say that the weather was almost perfect for a change. However, unbeknownst to the people, dark clouds were starting to creep over the horizon.

The two men continued chatting as they made their way up the staircase. Now, they spoke much more sound-conscious than they had been outside. Sneaking up the spiraling staircase close behind, the two men stopped after hearing the top of Alex's foot slam against a step. Alex caught himself directly behind the two Summoners, staring at them wide eyed on his knees. "Everything alright?" One asked with a raised eyebrow, curious as to why the apprentice was so close to begin with. "Uh, yeah! Just in a rush to get to bed for a second. Kinda tired. Long day." He lied with a small grin, his cheeks red. Without risking another minute to explain himself, he squeezed behind the two Masters and quickly continued up the stairs. It wasn't long before he reached the boys' living quarters.

"Han! Scar-face, are you here?" Alexander called out, roaming through the apprentice's living quarters after shutting the dark oak door behind him. The room was empty due to most of the other boys practicing their powers outside with their Masters or just decided to leave the large room filled with bunk beds. The boy continued down an aisle, his eyes searching each row he passed. There was still no sign of Han. He stopped, then cupped two hands gloved hands around his mouth. "Yoohoo! Han!" Alexander called out for his friend again. He had to tell his friend the rumors he just heard! A stone that supposedly had the power to disable a Summoner's abilities! Along with this new information, Alex also devised a plan. If they could find this stone and hand it over to Lord Quinn, there was no doubt it would be worth their while. Besides, who could say no to a little scavenger hunt for a day?
