I walked out of my den not being able to sleep, with my silver coat shining in the moonlight.

Silverpaw a sleek she cat sat down next to a tree very bored and wanting to hunt.

Silverpaw was sitting in front of the apprentice den when she saw the other cats arrive probably from a hunt, but then she saw a kit on one of their mouths and she became suspicious.

She looked back too see Wheatpaw there "oh um i couldn't sleep so i came outside for some fresh air"

She smiled and looked at the stars.

"Hi icepaw im silverpaw, sure you can join" she said smiling silverpaw loved making new friends.

Silverpaw poked her head put of the apprentices den and saw the other cats "what are you doing?" she asked giving them a suspicious glare.

"Well i was sleeping but you guys are making so much noise" she looked around the camp "you know that you cant leave camp without a warrior watching you or any grown cat."

"Hi eyepaw" she said yawning "i guess i am really tired maybe we should go to sleep before we get in trouble."

The next morning silverpaw wanted to sleep in but our clan leader called for a meeting at high-rock.

Silverpaw was hunting when she saw the other cats, she got really tense first because she was an apprentice and she was not supposed to be out of the camp alone. She was going to run back to camp when she tripped and fell out of the bush almost hitting the tom.

Silverpaw looked up and saw another cat "oh man im really in trouble" she said to herself, but then she looked again and saw it was only another apprentice.

"I wonder what the meeting is for" she whispered to frostpaw.

Silver paw struggled to get out of her grip but it was no use! "HELP AAHHHH" she screamed.

Silverpaw poked her head into the exit of the camp "Well it does sound fun" she said to herself "Maybe i will come too" then she ran after the other cats.

All the cats went silent when the clan leader spoke, "I have to tell you something that is not good news" the leader said.

Silverpaw sighed in relief she was going to be let go.

"Our deputy is... dead" the clan leader said with her blue eyes in horror.
