Paige flew out the door, a wide smile spread across her face. A minute yellow pokemon held onto her short brown hair and held on for dear life. "Look out world! Here I come!" The excited trainer shouted to all of Littleroot town. She barely noticed the heaviness of her royal blue backpack as she ran toward the group of trainers she saw. (Cooper & co.)

Paige grinned with happiness. "So I'm guessing you guys are starting on your journeys to?" She asked, trying to be as social as possible. The little yellow pokemon chirped contently as it burrowed into it's trainer's brown hair.

Shard was woken by the sound of bickering dragons. Shock overtook her as she realized that she was in a completely new place. The Night Fury let out a high-pitched chirp and recorded the surrounding area via echo-location. She stretched and trotted over to the commotion. Shard was so focused on finding the other dragons that she managed to trip over the horse like creature called Nubs.

"Me to!" Paige replied, "And this is my pokemon, Jolt, also known as my phone charger!" she added, gently poking the joltik resting upon her head.

appearance:She is about the same size and age as the MLP main characters. Her fur is a chestnut brown. Her mane is similar to Rainbowdash's in appearance, only dark brown in color. Sapphire's cutie mark is a small blue flame. She has icy blue eyes.

Paige nodded to the living flying sword. "That looks like a powerful pokemon!" She complimented. Suddenly, an idea formed in her mind." Hey! How about we have a battle! It would be my first, if you agree of course!"

"Ready!" Paige shouted enthusiastically. She grabbed Jolt and pried him of her head, wincing as a few hairs came off along with the pokemon. "Alright Jolt, we are going to battle now! Just do what I say and we might win!" She coed quietly to the joltik. Jolt hopped out of her hands onto the ground and stood ready.

Shard cocked her head in confusion. This creature seemed to be trying to communicate with her. She shook her head in amusement. Upon getting to her feet, she continued on her way to the other dragons.

The tick like pokemon managed to leap out of the way, yet was blown back by the energy given off by the attack. "Jolt! Use string shot!" Ordered Paige. The joltik attempted to entangle it's opponent with the sticky webbing, hoping to impede the honedge's movement.

The aerial ace caught the joltik off guard and hit successfully. Paige winced as her low level pokemon was damaged. "Uh, leech life!" The trainer shouted, feeling the need to deal damage and heal at the same time. After shaking himself, Jolt preformed the attack.

OOC: Can I be Smile Dog?

"All right Jolt! While it's dancing, use electroweb!" Paige yelled. Refreshed from the leech life, the joltik attacked.

A low growl could be heard from the far side of the room. A large shadow slinked under a chair, concealed by darkness. Only its gleaming eyes were visible.

Shard eyed the other night fury nervously. It had been a long time since she had seen another like her. Her muscles tensed when she saw his tail. A low growl escaped her throat. Humans work! She thought. She didn't yet know that humans and dragons were at peace.

Yay! This should be good! An emo with a happy-go-lucky person! XD

The creature under the chair blinked at its name, then smiled. It had a perfect set of human teeth, with sharper canines of course.

Jolt took the hit and fell back. "Come on Jolt! Leech Life!" Commanded Paige. The little pokemon stumbled to it's feet and attempted the move.

OOC: Maybe… XD

Paige gripped Cooper's hand grinning. "Rival's we shall be! Til next time!" She gave a good two shakes and nodded. The trainer picked up her little yellow pokemon and placed him on her head. With a wave, she was on the road to route 101.

Shard snorted and looked about her. "This place is definitely odd." The night fury commented, glancing back at Nubs.
