Derrick had cringed heavily and his teeth grinded against each other when she popped his shoulder back in, the male inhaling shakily.
"I think so," he sighed, rubbing his shoulder. "Thanks."
He used his good arm to pat her head, giving a forced smile.
"I can go hunting for us, if you want. I need to be absolutely positive Poison is okay before we head out."

"Alright."
Derrick finally gave in, patting her head again with a sly grin before padding over to Poison.
"Hey, Amelia," he began, caressing the dragon's scales. "What's it like to have a dragon?" -
Derrick's eyes widened slightly, the male dropping into a crouch and slowly creeping towards the dragon. He could feel his heart racing and the blood roaring in his ears as he drew closer, his eyes narrowing with determination. Derrick got so close that he could touch the dragon, so he extended his hand and attempted to scratch the dragon's back.
-
Derrick swallowed a lump past his throat and scratched the Timber Jack's back, his eyes widening.
"It...it let me?" he breathed, pulling his hand away slowly and hesitantly. "Did it work?" -
Derrick felt his heart skip a beat, but returned to scratching the dragon's back. A wide open mouthed smile split across his face, his eyes widening further.
"Aha! Amelia!" he whooped, excitement rushing into his body. "I...I have a dragon!!" -
Derrick blushed slightly, but returned the hug.
"I couldn't have done it without you," he purred, burying his face in the crook of her neck. Derrick gave her a squeeze, smiling widely. "Thanks." -
Accepted! You can play Mikasa and Sasha, but you don't need a form. :)
-
Derrick shrugged his shoulders, walking over to them and taking a seat.
"I'm not sure yet, to be honest," he stated, rubbing the back of his neck. Derrick grabbed a stick and poked the fire with it, eyes lazy as he rested his cheek on the palm of his hand. "I guess I'll know when it comes to me." -
Thunderclaw purred, gently bumping their shoulders together. He suddenly grew serious, grey orbs moving to meet hers.
"Autumnpaw, you've been off lately," he began, worry creeping onto his face. "Has something been bothering you? I'm right here if you want to talk about it." -
Ooc: I'm pretty sure you're welcomed here~
Ic: Thunderclaw gave her a sympathetic smile, resting the tip of his tail on Autumnpaw's shoulder.
"Cross my heart," he stated, tilting his head to the side. Thunderclaw crouched down beside her, using a paw to lift her chin up and the smile growing. "You don't have to be afraid to tell me anything." -
Ooc: XDD Psssh, life.
Haha, uhm, Derrick got a dragon with the help of Amelia. They crashed so they all are sleeping in a cave.
Ic: Derrick chuckled slightly, arching his back and listening to it pop.
"Goodnight, Amelia," he murmured, even though the girl had drifted off to sleep. He leaned against the wall of the cave and closed his eyes slowly, inhaling deeply. -
"How cute," Thunderclaw mused, his whiskers twitching. He gave her a warm smile, tilting his head to the side. "Well, I've had my eyes on a little lady for a while."
He winked, a cat grin splitting across his face.
"Can you guess who?"
Thunderclaw chuckled, looking ahead and not meeting Autumnpaw's eyes.
"She's an apprentice." -
Derrick had made a strange noise in the back of his throat as he was awoken, chucking the fish into the wall with his eyes as wide as saucers.
"Gahh!! What the hell?!"
He leaped to his feet and pulled out his sword, blushing darkly as he heard laughter. Derrick saw the dragons and Amelia laughing at him, grumbling and shoving his sword away.
"Yeah, yeah..." -
Thunderclaw's grin grew.
"Nope. This apprentice is...close to me," he tried to hinting her, finally meeting Autumnpaw's eyes. "And, we were goofing off earlier, to the normal cat's eye. But to us, it was important."
Thunderclaw flicked an ear, holding back a laugh as he realized she would most likely never say herself. -
Derrick shook his head with a small smile, padding after Amelia. His face shuttered close and his expressions went blank once more at the sight of the strangers. He had only let Amelia in, and he didn't want to risk anything else. Derrick placed on hand on his hip and used the other to provide as a visor as he looked up at Chaz.
-
"Ding."
Thunderclaw clicked his tongue, the grin forming into a warm grin.
"Right on the fresh-kill with the last one."
He shuffled his paws and looked to the side, ears flattening slightly.
"B-but, uhm, you know...it's okay if you don't..gah." -
Derrick grunted slightly, still watching the dragon and its owner. He then looked for his dragon, a little curious. If his dragon could talk, he would just ask it what it wanted its name to be.
-
Thunderclaw's grey orbs widened slightly, heat touching his face at the simple contact.
"I-I...aha."
He smiled, eyebrows tilting up as he pressed his nose behind her ear. "I'm glad you feel the same, then."
Thunderclaw closed his eyes, inhaling deeply and a purr rising from the back of his throat. -
Thunderclaw chuckled as Autumnpaw licked him, gently bumping shoulders with her. He froze, ears angling behind him as he heard whispers. He narrowed his grey orbs slightly, whiskers twitching.
Who is that? They're talking about us...
Thunderclaw stood and looked over his shoulder, narrowing his eyes into mere slits at the ferns.
"Seriously? Come out, Birchpaw. I can smell you all the from over here," he muttered, heaving a sigh as he glanced at Autumnpaw with a look that said, 'what now?' -
"Oi, at peace," Derrick murmured, walking up to his dragon and resting a hand on it's snout. He gave a slight smile, tilting his head to the side. "Try to behave now, hmm? We can got hunting later together, but you have to be good."
Derrick patted his dragon before dropping his hand, looking to Poison with an apologetic smile.
"Sorry about that, Poison."
