"Grandpa must have already saddled him for you." She nodded to the tack on Guinness's back and opened the stall door. "Grab the reigns and lead him out while I saddle Black Jack." She disappeared into the tack room and came out lugging a saddle, saddle pad and reigns. She tacked him up swiftly and led him out of the stall.

Evie followed him out of the barn and stopped Black Jacks reigns and he stood there patiently as she walked over to Daniel. "I'll hold the reigns while you mount." She paused before taking a deep breath. "I'm sorry for just blurting out that my parents are dead earlier. I just get sick of people asking where they are. So i wanted to tell you before you asked."

She nodded and a small smile lifted her face. "Next time do it softer, you can damage the horses back." She went over to Black Jack and swung up. She held the reigns in her left hand swung around to face him. "I'll ride next to you. So i can teach you the basics." She clucked to black jack and he began to walk. "I'm sure you know this but, one cluck means to walk, two means to trot and one kiss means to canter and two kisses means gallop but you won't need that one." She looked over at him. "Got it?"

"Come on, we'll take the wood trail to the pond." Evie pressed her reigns on Black Jacks neck and turned him toward the trail. " So where are you from?" She asked.

"Born in France but raised here." She grinned. "My first word was horse apparently."

"Hmm... I could have been if I was more carefree." She joked slightly. "Anyway, do you know why your grandfather sent you here?" She asked curiously.

"Well.. Maybe after this summer, you'll know what they meant by it?" She suggested.

Evie pressed on Black Jacks reigns and turned him on the trail. "This leads to the pond. Since it's summer, you can swim in it."

Evie raised an eyebrow at him. "No... They are no ducks in this pond." She rolled her eyes. "If there was I wouldn't swim in it."

"Pat his neck, not his head. Leaning forward like that will tell him to go faster." She said as she swung off of Black Jack and dropped the reigns him walking beside her. They approached the pond and she took off Black Jacks saddle and her boots and socks and set them aside before swinging up again and walking Black Jack forward.

"Oh.. Sorry.. Do you want to go in the water? It's just me and Blackie always do, but if not we could just turn around." Evie turned around on Black Jack to face Daniel.

Evie nodded and clucked to black jack to walk forward. As soon as his hooves hit the water he started splashing about until Evie told him to stop an he stood completely still. She stood up on his back and jumped off doing a canon ball.

(( I got candy and a magazine and some lip gloss. You're lucky vas!!))

Evie turned around to spot Guinness trotting forward. She started to laugh and watched Guinness trot into the water. "Do you want some help?" She asked Daniel looking at the two of them.

((Oh, it's 2 here.... So lunch was nice. :) ))

"Yeah go ahead I'll untack Guinness." Evie waded over and grabbed Guinness's reigns so Daniel could dismount.

Evie lead Guinness out of the water and onto the bank so she could untack him.

If i uploaded my prologue for my story and the first paragraph for chapter one, would you guys read it??

As soon as Evie was done i tacking him, Guinness pushed her into the water and she fell. She laughed and splashed the horse with water.

Evie mounted Black Jack and stood on him then did another cannon ball splashing Daniel in the process.

Evie glared at him for a second before disappearing under the water. She swam away then behind him and pulled him under before swimming away fast.
