A pair of bright blue eyes peered out, and then another brown pair, and finally, two hazel circles of eyes, peering through the bushes at Blackmist and Flamepaw.

Blackmist watched as the eyes faded into the darkness. "Report that Shadowclan has sent apprentices to spy on Thunderclan." She growled angrily. "Come on." She said, and then added, "Don't forget your squirrel!"

Blackmist stomped into camp. "Put your kill on the pile." She muttered to her apprentice. Spotting Lightstar she told her about the incounter. She seemed faintly interested. "We'll keep a look out, then. Thankyou, Blackmist." Blackmist padded over to Flamepaw. "Do what you want, I'm going to go by the river. If you want to come, then come on. If not, shoo!" She said grumpily, awaiting her apprentice's reply.

"Who are the other apprentices you share a den with?" She grumbled.

"Oh, really?" She asked mysteriously. "Do you want to talk to them?
