I smiled, "Sure! Let me just get some stuff....hey guess what?" I told him, "I'm getting my driver's licence tomarrow!" I told him. I fixed my bed and I grabbed some stuff from under my bed. I made sure my phone was charged and got some food as I talked to him, "So...how are you doing?" I asked him.

I pulled my phone away from my ear and looked at it weirdly. Either it was water or static. I hung up and got my stuff. I got my bathing suit and a change of clothes. I also got a towel and some sunscreen. I put it all in a beach bag and put on some sunglasses. I walked out the door and waited outside on the porch. I called him.

I rolled my eyes and sped down the road, "Let me drive..." I snapped at him.

I laughed, "I think that would be a good idea....also, my dad took the truck....can you pick me up?" I asked him. I smiled, "Hey, I gotta go before I run my battery down...bye!" I hung up and put on my sunglasses. I waited for him.

I yawned a little and felt my eyes droop. I sighed and rested my head against the glass of the table. I was so tired. I stayed up way too late last night with my sister. First we were talking about the Avengers and Thor...then around three in the morning we were talking about Snow White and the Grimm Brothers when we finally passed out. She's still inside, sleeping like a rock...when she didn't snore. She sounded like a wheezing elephant. I sighed and covered any light in my face with my bag. I would only sleep for only four minutes....four minutes tops. I finally dozed off.

I glared at him, "Oh shut up.....you're giving me a headache." I snapped. I payed attention to the road but kept my eye on him at the same time. This was very strange and I didn't like one bit of it. "Why don't we stay at a hotel or something?" I asked him.

I heard the phone ring and I answered it. It was Brian, "Hello? Is everything okay?" I asked him.

I rolled my eyes, "Jobs, silly."

I sighed. He still owed me money from the house, but he was still my friend. This would have to come out of my whole week's salary, "Sure...I guess...I'll pay." I told him. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "I'll give you more money when you get here...okay?" I walked inside with my stuff and plopped on the couch. I kept the door unlocked so he could come in. "Now just pay him and come on.." I told him.

I pulled over and stopped the car. I grabbed my purse and glared at him. "Get out." I snapped.

I jumped at the sound of the door bell and fell off the couch. I jumped up and nearly fell trying to keep my balance. I stumbled to the door and my sister poked her head in, "Who's that?" she asked.
I rolled my eyes, "It's Brian...don't embarrass me..." I told her and I opened the door. I smiled brightly, "Hi Brian!" I fumbled around in my wallet looking for my money. My whole week's salary was gone. I glared at Racheal and she smiled. I got my stuff and pulled out the money and held it out to Brian, "Here you go.."

I sighed and pulled him inside. I got an icepack for him and my sister smiled. I skipped over to him and sat on the counter top. "Off." I told her.
"No. You can't boss me around," said the fifteen-year-old. She leaned on her elbows and rested her chin in her hands. She looked at Brian and smiled, "Are you okay?" She batted her eyelashes ridiciously and smiled at him. "I don't want your pretty hand getting hurt..." Bleck. Lovey dovey this and lovey dovey that. Sick.
"If you excuse me I'm going to go barf my brains out." I told the two. Rachael glared at me.

I smiled, "Okay!" We hopped into the car and drove towards the lake. It was about a hour from my house. I mostly chatted about the stuff we could do there. I finally shut my mouth after twenty minutes of talking and stayed silent. I looked at my phone and put in some earphones. I turned on my music and hummed to it. I could still hear him if he were to talk, but I could also hear the music too. I have tons of songs in this little thing. Don't even get my started on my favorite. We stayed silent for about another ten minutes when we were slowed down my traffic. I rolled down my window and asked a cop what was going on.
"Some teens crashed on the train tracks racing...." was all he said. I nodded my thanks and sunk into my seat as I rolled up the window. I felt a chill run up my spine as we sat there waiting for the traffic to continue.

I smiled at him even though I didn't understand 75% of the words he just said. "It's okay....It's pretty early and we still have all day....at least it wasn't us who were in the wreck.It should let up soon..." I told him. I shuddered a bit thinking of the families that have to go through this. My mom died skidding into the back of a semi on the icy road. I looked ahead and saw cars moving, "Hey, I think the traffic is letting up!" I smiled and looked at him, "See? I told you!" We were being able to drive and I looked out the side window. Both of the cars were totalled and they were taking the bodies into an ambulance. There was one girl in the front covered in gore. I felt the color drain from my face as I stared at the wreckage.

I felt my face flush crimson and froze for a second thinking. I smiled, "If you want to." I scratched my head for a second embarrassed then started helping him with the stuff. We looked around. The place was empty. I grabbed my bag and towel and closed the door of the trunk. I walked away then the next thing I knew I was on the ground rubbing my head. "Owww....." I said. My towel was cauch in the door and now my head throbbed.

I got up and opened the dorr of the car and snatched my towel out of it. "Haha...Very funny." I told him. I smiled at him showing him I wasn't mad. "I would have laughed at myself too..." I rubbed my head and smiled as I took his hand and pulled him along, "Come on! I don't want to spend my first date and my sixteenth birthday sitting here moping! Let's go!" I grabbed the stuff and ran ahead. "Last one there is a rotten egg!"

I screamed as I fell to the ground. I started to laugh as I sat up, "No fair!" I smiled and quickly got to my feet. "oh come on...lighten up!" I helped him up and made a beeline to the water. I dropped my bag on the way and pulled off my hat and glasses. I took off the cover up and jumped into the water, "CANNONBALL!!!!!" I made a huge splash. I waved at him, "Come on! The water's great!" I submerged back into the water and saw my hair go everywhere like there was no gravity. I loved the clear water. It made the sand on the bottom have timy "rainbows" in it.

I splashed him in the face and walked out the water. "Sure...I call front!" I yelled to him. I got my sunglasses and my stuff. "Where is the canoe?" I asked him. I looked around to see if there was anyone else at the lake. I didn't see anyone. "Come on Brian! You're the one who wants to go canoeing!" I yelled to him.

I stared at him for a split second and blushes crimson. I waited to see what he would do for a moment when I shut my eyes tight and got the nerve to press my lips against his. I felt my cheeks get red and I clutched the canoe to keep balance. I really hoped I did the right thing and not just ruin our friendship. Oh Lord please don't let him be mad at me if I did the wrong thing. Gosh I'm dead...

My eyes shot open in surprize for a second and stared at him. I closed my eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck for a second and pulled away. I blushed red and unlatched my arms from him. I stared at him. I didn't know what I should be thinking. All I felt was the heat on my cheeks and my racing heart.
