Appearance

Ingram is a young man standing at a height of 5'10" with an appropriately healthy weight for his height. His natural hair color is blonde, though he is known to add occasional streaks of color. Currently, it has a little bit of added brown giving his hair a caramel tone. He usually sports an undercut while leaving the top long enough for him to style and swoop to the side, the tips of it just hovering over one eye or the other. If he leaves it unstyled, it tends to lay very flat and look very fluffy. In some lighting, it's easy to mistake him for having a very fair skin tone, and while he is just a little pale, his skin has natural honey undertones. His facial features are all extremely sharp, with a very distinctive jawline and nose, and perfectly arched eyebrows. His eyes are the softest part of his face, which are a little bit oval in shape, and though they are typically unnoticeable to most, he has very small laugh lines at the corners of his eyes, only visible when he's smiling. Overall, he would be considered very beautiful, almost like a statue come straight to life, nearly too perfect to be human, and quite ethereal, as is common among Aphrodite's children. Nicknames: Some of the other campers occasionally call him Cupid as a joke because of his godly parent and his favorite weapon. It’s not really known whether he likes or dislikes this, because whenever someone uses it, he just makes a weird face and doesn’t even comment on it. Some people also refer to him as a prince or princely or The Prince, but never to his face (at least not intentionally).

Psychological Information

Personality: First and foremost, not only does Ingram look like a straight up prince, he also usually acts like one. He’s extremely kind and courteous and is never afraid to reach out to new campers who might be a little lost. He’s very friendly, even though he looks a little serious, so don’t hesitate to approach him. He has a genuinely calming aura about him, in the way he carries himself, the way he speaks, the way he acts, he’s just a calming presence in general. Even so, he also has a distinct air of sophistication and elegance about him, which, coupled with his looks, is why a lot of people might think of him as princely. He also happens to be one of the more serious campers in that… well, he’s the mom friend and he will mom all of you. He’s always telling people to eat (better) or pick up after themselves and just has a habit of gently scolding those around him, especially younger kids. And while he isn’t a touchy person, if he’s close to someone he’s known to brush their hair back as a sign of affection, or help them straighten up their appearance. He’s a very comforting individual, and if any camper is ever upset, he’s usually one of the first people they will go to, and he’s very good at making all of your emotional problems level out and even melt away.

Don’t be fooled by the fact that he looks well put together though, this man is a straight up mess sometimes too. He’s one of those people that always loses the camp games and if it’s a team effort of some kind, he’s probably the one who’s gonna mess it up. That isn’t to say he’s clumsy or a poor fighter or anything like that or bad at all games… he just has issues sometimes like everyone else. But, even if he is failing epically at Capture the Flag, you can be damn sure he’s looking like the most graceful creature you ever saw while doing it. Despite this, he will lightly judge other people for their behavior. It’s not anything major. Ingram would never judge someone because of their past, or because they made a stupid or bad decision. But if you’re one of those people that literally goes out there and just memes yourself, get ready for his look of judgement. He also has a very distinct disappointed-mom-face that pretty much the whole camp has seen at least once, but that’s beside the point.

He does possess some of the stereotypical traits of a child of Aphrodite. He takes a lot of pride in his appearance and he has a strong interest in fashion. He also tends to give really excellent life advice, especially in regards to relationships (romantic or otherwise). However, unlike some of his siblings, he has very little interest in material things, and he also tends to be one of the lower maintenance members of the cabin. In terms of flirting, Ingram doesn’t really do it. That doesn’t mean he can’t, because when he tries, he’s got a lot of charm and game going, he just isn’t really a flirty person. However, he does have a little bit of a mischievous streak sometimes, and he is well aware of how other people typically respond to his physical appearance. So occasionally, he’ll throw a wink at someone, or a tiny lip bite if he knows people are watching, because he likes to see how they might react (especially the girls). It actually gets worse if he senses someone has a small crush on him, because his tiny flirty gestures become more frequent and are often directed at that person, simply because he enjoys an occasional bout of gentle teasing. Of course, he would never take it too far as to upset anyone. If he thought he made someone uncomfortable, he’d be apologizing immediately, or if someone really, really liked him and they were upset because he didn’t like them back, he definitely wouldn’t tease.

Even though Ingram is a really sweet person, he does have a little bit of a vicious streak. If you’ve ever seen him fight it’s often with a deadly calm aura about him. Further, sometimes if you catch him at the wrong time, you can sense some sinister energy coming off him, but you can’t really explain what it is about his mannerisms, because he’s still acting pretty normal. He is also a master of the cold shoulder, so if you ever do something truly awful to cross him, he’s going to ice you out whether you want it or not. Fortunately, the darker side of his personality is extremely rare (like, so rare y’all). He isn’t easily upset or insulted by others, so even though someone might the saying some truly awful stuff about him, he’ll likely just let it go. And even when he is hurt, he typically acts more formal around the person, hiding the fact that’s he’s upset using a mask. It’s when you start messing with people he cares about that he tends to get a little more aggressive, and even then, like two people at camp have seen him truly angry. And it’s a terrifying sight so don’t mess with him, kay?

Weapons: While he is deadly with a sword, his preferred weapon is actually a bow and arrow. He’s a lethal shot, and has a natural talent for it, able to hit targets even when faced with a multitude of factors for consideration. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have any magic or fancy weapons, just a standard bow and sword.

History: Pretty typical story for a demigod, he started coming to camp when he was about ten years old and has been visiting every summer since then. He didn't figure out he could use charmspeak until he was thirteen, however.

Fun Facts:

-His name, Ingram, can mean “Ing’s raven,” “son of the raven,” or “angel raven.” His father, a professor of Nordic mythology, picked it because he liked the connection to ravens, seen as powerful creatures in Norse mythology. Ingram really likes his name too, however, because in Norse mythology, Ing was the god of peace and Ingram enjoys that connotation.

-His middle name means white, so if you combine it with his first name, the image becomes that of a white raven instead of a black raven!

-He cares a lot about his siblings and I mean A LOT. He loves them like they’re his real family, and he’s really protective over them (especially the girls because chivalry, but he will cut someone for his bothers too). If you hurt his siblings on any level, you better start running because Ingram is coming for your kneecaps.

-If this was a Harry Potter thread, Ingram would be a Slytherin.

-He is a literal master at braiding hair. Fish tails, side braids, French braids, you name it, Ingram can do it.

-Ingram is an amazing cook. He loves cooking and trying new recipes, and he loves making food for other people so they’ll be happy.

-You know, this man is just straight up husband material. He even knows how to do laundry!

-The reason he doesn’t ever use charmspeak is because he’s wracked by guilt after the fact. When he first discovered the power, he used it a handful of times but found it made him a little sick knowing he was forcing other people to do things against their will (in his mind, anyway), so he kinda swore off of it, even though his charmspeak is particularly strong.

-He is a super romantic kind of person, just not publicly. Like, he would be okay with holding hands and occasional small kisses, but he doesn’t really like being cuddly in public. And he doesn’t seem like it day to day, but he’s the type to set up a beach dinner for he and his S/O, or to kiss them in the rain, or to run towards them like a dork after a while apart.

-The best word to describe him would probably be gentle. Not like in a fight or anything, but just the way he carries himself and how he acts. It’s hard to explain, but he’s honestly just a gentle person.

-His favorite food is steak with a really yummy baked potato.

-He likes those little TokiDoki unicorns and collects the figures. This is probably the oddest thing about him, but it’s also kinda understandable?

-He’s technically supposed to be starting college in the fall, but he only enrolled because he knew his parents wanted him to. -His usual role in questing parties is the one who holds the team together, while being just a touch wild and savage.

The Warrior

Appearance

Ethan stands at about 5'9" give or take a little bit. As you might guess, he is extremely well built. He has a wide shoulder set and his torso stretches very consistently between his shoulders and hips. His arms and legs are well toned, and while you can't deny he is visibly muscular, it is not to the degree or a bodybuilder or anything of that sort. He has maintained a relatively natural appearance. His facial features are very soft due the fact that he has a round face and his cheeks are very fully. His nose is somewhat angular, though would not be described as sharp. His hair, which is an auburn color, mostly brown with some streaks of orange, is basically a bowl cut, just long enough to brush the very tops of his eyes, though he tends to part it in such a way that his forehead is partially exposed and he looks a little more intimidating than he would otherwise, because with his hair down and with his cheeks, he looks kinda soft. He would probably be described as handsome in his own way, though not by everyone, and his soft features become much less so because they are marred by his near permanent stern countenance. His eye color is brown.

Psychological Information

Personality: Most people don’t know much about Ethan’s personality, outside of the fact that he’s a quiet, aloof boy who tends to keep to himself. He puts off an intimidating aura, and those that try and approach are typically met with a stoic, even more intimidating (though not unkind) expression. He has a generally stern visage that matches up with his stern personality. He doesn’t say much when around others unless spoken to first, and even then, his responses are typically short and to the point.

Despite this, he would never leave a fellow camper to a fight alone. Ethan views himself as a protector of sorts and goes about most of his time quietly looking after people in camp. Additionally, due to his tendencies to keep to himself, he has spent a good majority of his time observing other people and their behavior. This has made for an extremely perceptive personality, and very little detail escapes his notice, from a battlefield advantage to even someone trying to put a lie past him. He takes his training very seriously, and this quality is very obvious about him from a first meeting most of the time.

While all of these things are very true, the truth about Ethan isn’t that he’s unfriendly, or that he doesn’t know how to relax, it’s actually that he’s simply just a little shy. He doesn’t always know what to say or how to act around other people, especially those around his age. He’s actually a little bothered by the fact that some may judge him based on his exterior of his godly parent alone, but he doesn’t know how to go about counteracting this. Despite being a very strong-willed individual, he does want to fit in with everyone else too. In fact, he does have a playful side. Ethan is actually a huge dork and is literally the type just to do it for the meme. The problem is, nobody at camp has ever seen this side of him since he doesn’t feel comfortable enough being himself due to lack of strong personal connections. And he doesn’t improve these connections because he’s too worried about people not liking him. It’s a huge paradoxical cycle, actually.

Obviously, he’s a master at hiding how he really feels, and nobody at camp thus far as suspected there’s any sort of weakness behind the stone-cold face he puts on. And while he is stern, he isn’t mean. In fact, where many children of Ares as known for being hot-blooded, or for their strong tempers, Ethan is just the opposite. He really doesn’t get angry, at least not outwardly. In arguments with others, he never yells. Instead, he seeks to reach a compromise in the form of polite discussion or debate. He’s pretty mature for his age, which most campers would definitely agree with. But that doesn’t mean he’s not emotional, because he is. Actually, he’s a very emotional person. He just never displays anything of the sort because he doesn’t want to show anyone what he perceives as any sort of weakness.

Ethan is extremely brave and also extremely loyal. For any close friends or family, he would do anything for them, wouldn’t even hesitate to catch a bullet. When it comes to those he loves, he has no concept or grasp of self-preservation if someone else is in danger. Further, he will never shy away from a fight, no matter how desperate it might be. If there’s a monster attack at the border, better believe he’s going to be one of the first ones there to take care of it. Overall, where a lot of children of Ares are likened to fire, Ethan is a lot closer to a rock.

Powers: He has a very limited degree of telumkinesis, which is the ability to control weaponry. He can’t magically generate his own or anything, but he can telekinetically move existing weapons around. His usual means of using this power are to summon a weapon to him like Thor lol or to attempt to disarm an opponent by pulling whatever weapon they’ve got right out of there grip (this has varying degrees of success, depending on how heavy it is, the mental force Ethan is exerting, physical strength of the target, etc. etc.). He also has a minor degree of super strength, being stronger than most other demigods (who are already stronger than the average mortal). He also possesses above average speed, stamina, durability, and reflexivity when compared with other demigods.

Weapons: Ethan’s trained in many forms of combat and could do some serious damage with nearly anything you gave him, but he likes using a polearm of some kind best because he has a very aggressive fighting style and the polearm has one of the best offensive outputs. It’s not uncommon to see him with a sword though, either, or even an ax, but you’ll pretty much not see him with a shield.

History: Nothing super interesting, he’s been coming to camp since he was thirteen and was claimed almost immediately upon starting. He kinda knew though, because his mom was aware of Ares’ true nature, and when Ethan turned thirteen and monsters started sniffing around there street, Beatrice knew it was time and kinda explained things to him before taking him to camp for the first time.

Fun Facts:

-He is actually a major mama’s boy. He loves his mom so freaking much and they’re extremely close and the only part he doesn’t like about coming to camp is that he has to leave her on her own because he feels like he needs to be there to look after her and protect her even though the truth is she’s a literal badass and could probably take on a Titan if it meant protecting her son and his friends (I mean, she’s only a human but she’s still a beast).

-If this was a Harry Potter thread, Ethan would be a Gryffindor.

-He is an only child, and his mom is single, so it’s just the two of them.

-His favorite food is microwave mac n cheese cups.

-When he sleeps at night, he has to be able to see the door or he will not be able to sleep. It’s because he wants to be able to see immediately if any intruders are coming in.

-This boi LOVES card games, and I mean the super out there ones like Sparkle Kitty or Bares vs. Babies or Unstable Unicorns. He likes other board games too so if you invite him to board game night and feed him mac n cheese he’s pretty much gonna love you forever.

-He also likes playing video games, but that’s hard to do at camp because no electronics (mostly) and whatnot.

-His feelings about his father are extremely complicated, and it’s not because he was absentee. Ethan really struggles with the fact that Ares didn’t love his mother (as far as he’s concerned, his mom might say different if you ask) and he kinda resents his father for that. Furthermore, he’s not the best at forming positive relationships with his half siblings, because for him, every new sibling is just another small reminder that his own mom wasn’t his dad’s one and only. But, he also understands it to an extent, Ares being a god and whatnot? There’s a lot packed into the relationship, okay?

-This might be surprising, but he has a really strong interest and passion for photography. He really loves taking pictures and always brings his fancy camera to camp, but really only takes it out when he’s alone or late at night for landscape shots, because he’s afraid of what people will think if they know he likes something artistic.

-He’s really competitive and he will literally not let anybody intentionally win ever (not even if he’s on a date and the girl wants to win at ski ball or something, no way), no matter the game he’s always gonna give 110%.

-After high school, he’s not 100% sure yet, but he thinks he probably wants to be a police officer.

-Actually really loves bitter things and will drink straight Americanos for days.

-He has had one girlfriend, very briefly. The breakup was mutual because they weren't that compatible and there was no heartbreak involved for either party as their feelings weren't that strong.

-He fought and killed the Lernaean Hydra two summers ago while in questing party, and the Nemean Lion last summer while in a questing party. These two monsters are his most prestigious kills thus far.

History: Luna grew up living right next to Yellowstone National Park where she would spend her days running around shifting between wolf and human form as well as anything in between. Her father was in charge of the park and would direct his rangers around areas that he knew she was in so that no one would risk seeing her and her strange abilities. One day however a ranger caught the trail of an injured animal and ignored the warnings he had been given about the area he was entering. The ranger ended up running into Luna as she was in her hybrid form and pulled a weapon on her. Luna knew this ranger and would never dream of hurting him but he of course did not know it was her, he just saw the monster she looked like. When she tried to approach him while shifting back into her human form the ranger panicked and attacked. Luna did nothing to hurt the ranger but did try to get away, the ranger ended up shooting her through her side seriously injuring her. As she bled her vision faded and the last thing she saw was her father approaching the scene at a sprint. When Luna woke up in the hospital her father was with her and told her she was safe, that the ranger had been dealt with, and that her secret was secure. When she asked what happened her father said nothing except, "Yellowstone is a big park...sometimes things just happen." And left her with that. Luna was mortified as she realized what her father was implying and as soon as she was strong enough she decided to leave to keep from putting anyone else in danger. She did not know where she was going but every one in a while on her journey a silver she-wolf would appear and she would follow it. Eventually she followed the she-wolf over the crest of a hill and found herself at Camp Half-Blood where she has been ever since.

PSYCHOLOGICAL INFORMATION

Personality: Ben is a guy who generally keeps to himself. He'll speak to you if absolutely has to and he won't be rude or sound annoyed, but he is very miffed at how people can be assuming or easily think things about a person with no proof or reasoning behind it. This makes him relatively anti social, large masses of people will make him anxious as well as being cornered. His anxiety is hard to perceive as he involuntarily learned to mask it as a defense or coping mechanism with the bullying he was experiencing. He feels that if you do not show that something is bothering you, whatever is causing it will eventually go away as they'll grow tired of not getting a reaction. Ben isn't very controversial and he would rather walk away or brush someone off than actually say what's on his mind, too afraid of the possible negative effects it may have should he do so. He would effectively be a bystander if someone else were to be bullied, if it doesn't involve him then he won't get involved. In some ways he is a pushover, but only if there are others around. One on one he feels comfortable enough to speak his mind and defend himself. He will also never feel forced to do a task, you would quite literally have to physically force him to do something. Asking in this case is better than telling him what to do. During the day should he be awake, he is sluggish and slow both mind and body. It's not a good idea to rip Ben from his personal sleep cycle. Doing so can cause him to sleep walk and it will have violent, harrowing repercussions. He is more himself at night and an avid learner. For the most part, Ben is very disciplined and responsible (unless he's awake during the day). His passions, talents, and hobbies are given a hundred percent of his time and focus. Lacking social skills and interactions with people other than his mother and the few he interacts with in his extracurricular activities; he has a limited sense of humor, a brash but respectful way of speaking, and low tolerance of mistakes. His humor is slightly morbid and it paints him in the light of a hypocrite as he thinks he himself only finds morbid humor amusing, and when he notices others doing the same, they are given estranged and criticizing expressions. If you were to actually hold a conversation with Ben, you would find he almost says things without thinking, but he just isn't quite sure what would be offensive and what isn't and means no harm in it, but holding the conversation he won't care what you'd think either. Not in the beginning anyways, as he expected most people to bed judgmental or leave him be. He is respectful though, and especially if in a position where it is thought that you earned, he shows proper respect. He is especially respectful and praising towards the myths of Athena, Artemis, Demeter, Hera, Hestia, and possibly others. Yes they are all goddesses, I know,and it's because these goddesses either were not marries and pledged to be so or a virgin, or those that are married have remained faithful and loyal. Loyalty and faithfulness are big virtues for Ben, but he believes on a general level that humans don't possess these and only truly greater people have these qualities, like his mom. He himself knows he cannot be loyal or a friend to anyone because he doesn't trust anyone else to have these qualities. That being said despite his recluse nature, he loves to go and sneak off to clubs and the dance floor. His dancing sucks, but he isn't there to show off, he goes there to vibe with headphones in and ignoring the world around him. Intermittently he'll use some of his taekwondo moves in his estranged dance sequences. Ben doesn't laugh or smile often, but his laughter is the warmest and purest thing, while his smile is either bright with enthusiasm or smug and all knowing. Ben can be adventurous, but he is adventurous by himself, with no one around. Ben is a bad team player, as he feels he needs to do everything on his own. He is a very independent person, and if he were to accept something seriously, it would be seen done.

- - (Future) Potential Powers: Can teleport during the night to another place that is ALSO experiencing night time (similar to shadow traveling- it will also have the same side effects), can fly or during the night. Can communicate only through nightmares specifically. Can become or display qualities of your greatest fears (for example, snakes are your fear, he appears to have fangs and hissing at you with a snake tongue like he's going to dissolve into a snake or a bunch of snakes)

- - Powers Setbacks & Side Effects: It's not so far as to say he is blind but his eye sight is poorer in the daylight, he has to wear glasses during this time. Summons are smaller creatures only such as a bat like creature or feline and it is also permanent meaning a summon cannot be done again until the previously summoned creature has been killed or otherwise called back to where ever it came from. Just as the night can speed up the healing process, the day time causes the healing process to become much slower (best to be inside or in dark and shaded places). His dream-scape (nightmare affect) starts out involuntary and will only affect those he comes into the most contact with, it should also only affect those with a an open or weak mind. Strong or narrow minds are less affected. Teleporting for the first few times would have critical set backs, recall Nico's first time caused him to be asleep for 2 weeks. Bright light is obviously a weakness for this boy, but it's important to note that artificial light (flash lights) are not the same as natural light (sun). Being new to camp, Ben will be new to the world of the demigods, his powers will grow as he starts taking everything in, but like with anything learning something will start out exhausting and difficult to master. Even then overuse creates problems, and using abilities during the wrong time (day) is even more harmful.

Natural Combat Strengths & Potential: Ben has a good amount of arm strength, archery and carrying animal carcasses then gutting them will do that for you. Ben also does taekwondo, this makes his high kicks powerful and foot work deceptive. To be able to hunt, Ben has had to learn to conceal himself and remain stealthy, he has also acquired precise striking and aim.

Natural Combat Weaknesses & Exploits: Ben has never worked with any weapons other than bows and arrows. He may have technique but he otherwise lacks offensive, especially in close combat. He'll likely draw out a fight rather than win one. Because he is new he has yet to learn about the demigod world what others have experience in.

Weapons: Ben hasn't yet received or acquired any weapons. He has a mortal recurve bow and arrows for when he goes out to hunt and has experience with the much more modern composite bow and arrows. However these are purely for sport (a hunted animal is put to purpose as food on the table).

OTHER INFORMATION

History: Ben is the son of a man and Nyx, Goddess of the Night. He is of course unaware of this until the moment she will claim him. His father put him in the orphanage after several attempts on their lives, the stench of negative emotions and fraudulent practices disguising Ben's demigod aura for the most part. However it was a sad existence, and at two years old a woman named Julie Knights adopted him after becoming divorced because her husband was not okay with her being infertile. It was a whim of a decision, but unlike her ex-partner, she would remain devoted to her new life as a mother.

Julie's devotion to adopted Ben and her chosen role as a mother without her husband has (unknown to their knowledge) won favor in Artemis and Demeter and possibly Athena and Aphrodite. Hera has mixed feelings because she believes childbirth is important and because Julie cannot have children she isn't hurt or concerned that the man left, but he also broke the marriage off to an otherwise loyal woman (Hera's an *ss anyways so who cares). At some point Julie received a package with vague details and ominous fashion. She will be giving Ben this package when she goes up to the Camp to explain what she knows (the letter explained to her the on-goings of Ben's REAL mother and some need-to-know things about the world).

Throughout school Ben hasn't really ever made any friends. It's not entirely society's fault as he doesn't really put in the effort, content with playing and minding himself. He was intermittently bullied for his dyslexia, being a loner, socioeconomic standing, and his eccentric tastes were exploited. Because some of his music and themes in art it was assumed by some students that he was depressed or suicidal, and one time CPS was called to their household to determine if he was okay at home with Julie. Ben had never been mad before but this had effectively woke a sleeping dragon and he began taking taekwondo and then proceeded to further isolate himself from students as best he could. He also refused to submit anymore for any future art classes there after and didn't share the music he listened to. He also went as far as to wear a custom shirt that had read "I'm not suicidal, you're annoying." which ultimately was asked not to be worn by the school faculty.

Julie was worried for his social skills, a job no matter what it was required some kind of socialization in her eyes. So she encouraged him to at least do some extracurricular activities, even while already in taekwondo, so he took up hunting which he knew couldn't possibly allow for that much speaking. At thirteen he would start sneaking out at night and return home, effectively beginning his day sleeping. It became so bed that Julie had him do the majority of his schooling online with a few on site classes taken at the later end of the high school periods. He currently has a crush on a girl (I know it's crazy being anti social but yes he has a crush) who is independent and waits for no one and no thing, intelligent, and her name is Elaine.

APPEARANCE → Valyria would be considered perfect by many. Her appearance is near ethereal, her looks would bring any man to his knees. She has a slight golden hint to her skin but only under the right lighting. Her eyes are a stunning lavender with hints of gold and teal throughout, as bright as the sky but as deep as the ocean. Inherited from her mother.. Valyriahair falls just above the small of her back in perfect brown waves. She is a stunning little creature, one who doesn't even know it. sylvie tends to be quite stoic, showing little to no emotion and maintaining a straight face, most, if not all the time unless she's trying to keep up appearances. she's the type that doesn't charge unless provoked, but believes that expressing emotion is a sign of weakness and heavily lacks empathy. she's a strong girl, sarcastic and quite rude. despite the front she puts up, her true personality sometimes sneaks out and can come as a surprise to some. being orphaned at seven definitely played a role in forming her personality to what it is now, but it's also her foster parent's who caused some of this. as a child she had a lot of trouble holding her tongue, often talking back to her foster parents and others which resulted in punishment from her foster father. he's her abuser and is one of the only people who has a hold on her. he genuinely terrifies her, but of course she wouldn't let anyone know that.

even though she's armed with a polite and kind exterior, after a while and if she trusts you enough her act might falter. unless you're someone she has come to trust, she doesn't care about other people. the only way to really get to know her would be to knock down the barriers that she has put up to keep people at a distance, the barriers that keep others from finding out about the sinister, toxic traits she harbors.

however, all of this [despite how surprising it may seem] doesn't mean she's not looking to become a better person. if anything, a part of her genuinely wants to learn to be empathetic, or at least try to be.

✯self-manipulative puppetry- she can control her own body like a marionette, allowing her to move freely even if she possesses injuries or ailments that would normally impede normal movement such as paralysis, broken limbs, or dislocated joints, etc. she can also bend in ways no human should. it's a contortionist doing her finest work, as sylvie likes to call it, but it often just scares the daylight out of people.

--puppetry- she can take control over motor functions of humanoid forms, whether living, dead, or objects, as if they were a marionette.

--animated shadow- sylvie can transform her own or others shadows into living beings. as the rule of anything happening to the real body happens to the shadow, this ability may allow the user to manipulate the shadow and cause damage in reality by using it to attack. a big downside is that, though she can use other people's shadows and manipulate them, controlling them to do as she so desires, anything that happens to them will be reflected on her own body. for example, if a shadow were to get severely burned it would be mirrored on sylvie.

despite her contortionist flexibility and abnormal strength, she has relied mostly on her abilities up until now. due to her rough home life, she had never taken a proper fighting class. her hand to hand combat skills aren't the greatest, but she's a fast learner and is excited to learn. she isn't too good at using hand held weapons, either.

History:

to keep it simple, lucien was born in early november to her mother, marion. for the first six years of her life things were as normal as they could be. it wasn't until her seventh birthday that things started to go downhill. it was quite early, but lucien's abilities began to make themselves known and marion knew what that meant. it surprised her that they developed so soon, but marion handled it the best she could. on lucien's seventh birthday a fire started in their family home. marion had been unable to find lucien in the house and the result was her death, while lucien had already been outside the entire time. the little seven year old had no idea what had happened and was found later crying in what was left of her home, holding onto her mother's pendant and sitting beside her mother's corpse. lucien was then tossed into the foster system, soon to be adopted by what looked to be a pleasant couple. the couple was anything but pleasant. they were toxic, abusive, and for the next ten years lucien endured what could only be described as hell on earth. when she was around 11 years old she received a strange package with a thick, leatherbound journal and nothing more. this journal went into detail about all of the things that marion never had the chance to tell her.

as the years went by, lucien learned to control her abilities and even with the strength that she had and her other worldly abilities, she was never able to go up against her foster parents. they had such a hold on her that the idea of doing anything to harm them absolutely terrified lucien.

when she was 14 she learned of camp halfblood, but because of certain reasons she was unable to go to the camp until only now. at seventeen, lucien was finally able to get away from her foster parents and make it to the camp.

Personality: Abby is a tough cookie through and through. She is a fighter who knows how to take a beating but is even better at dealing one to her enemies. Abby has a special kind of hatred for monsters and goes out of her way to hunt THEM down and kill them. In her mind you are either the hunter or the prey and she would rather not be the prey. Abby is a raging ball of anger with a pretty smile, she gets annoyed fast and channels that anger into her determination meaning when she puts her mind to something she gets it done. While she does go out of her way to hunt monsters down she would never do so if it meant putting someone else at risk which is why she tends to go out of her own knowing she will either come back or get to take a long walk with her father. Some think that she is suicidal and honestly Abby doesn't know if they are right or not. It's not that she wants to die, it's just that she isn't particularly fond of the idea of growing old. She would prefer to die young and in the heat of battle rather than grow old and helpless. On rare occasions such as when she is at camp for the summer Abby can be seen laughing and smiling when she is around her friends. She doesn't make friends easily but when she does she is with them for life and only they get to see the less guarded side of her. Deep down Abby is a total adorkable mess who does terrible impersonations and loves all things X-Men to the point that she calls other people "bub" when she wants to act tough. Only her friends understand the reference she makes when she uses the name and will likely have to contain their laughter if they hear her say it when in the heat of an argument or battle.

History: Before Abby was born her mother worked as a hospice nurse and tended to many who were old and dying until they passed on. Abby grew up basically on her own since her mother passed away mere moments after she was born, this was of course the first time Abby ever met her dad. Growing up in foster care gave Abby a thick skin, especially when she was moved from home to home and was treated as nothing more than a meal ticket or worse...far far worse. Her one comfort was that she knew her father was there, even when he wasn't he was because she carried apart of him inside her and as she grew it began to show as she grew and her wings sprouted. After taking years of all sorts of abuse Abby had become a tough yet terrified young girl who wanted nothing more than to be able to get away from her foster father and those like him. One night like so many before her foster father entered her room and was shocked to find Abby with her wings exposed, he instantly took out his knife and tried to cut them off of her. Abby panicked, she was terrified that this man who had already taken so much from her would take her one chance of escape as well and in the heat of the moment she kicked the knife from his hand, picked it up and plunged it into his chest, over and over and over, all of her fear becoming pure rage as she killed her first monster. Years have passed since that night and Abby found her freedom, since then she has killed many monsters, mortal and mythical, and has learned and mastered new abilities. When she found her way to camp half-blood her father claimed her and that was also the moment she finally got to see him again. Now Abby spends her summers at camp half-blood while the rest of the year she travels around hunting the monsters that terrorize this world and those within it. She does not care if they come from Tartarus or not, they will all fall by her blade.

Fun Facts: Total x-men geek, her favorite superhero is Wolverine, pretty darn good singer, can whistle any song completely after only hearing it once, her birth name is actually Sarah Halloway but she changed it to her new name because she believes that Sarah died with her mother and Abaddon is the name of one of the generals of hell which she found more fitting.

Standing at exactly 6'0", Quince has a very willowy build. He has very long limbs and is primarily legs and arms, but his shoulder set might surprise some people as being broader than they expected up close. The boy has a very soft face with very soft features all around, and his cheeks are quite prominent, particularly when he smiles. His eye shape is a but ovular while his nose remains very round, and his face shape itself is the most angular part of his face, though not sharp by any means. Personality: Quince is often viewed as one of the friendliest, most open people around camp. He's a huge mood maker all around the camp and is always ready with a silly joke or a comforting comment for whoever needs it, for whatever reason they need it. He has a really amazing sense of humor and people tend to say he tells some of the funniest jokes around. It's honestly just because he loves making people smile, and can't stand to see anyone being upset. This goes sevenfold for people he's really close with. If someone he cares about is upset, than he is absolutely going to be upset too, doing everything he possibly can to try and take their pain away. Quince is a fairly emotional person himself, but he tends to only be openly emotional (outside of positive) when he feels like it's a good time. If the people he trusts are hurting and he is too, he's likely going to do everything he can to hold himself together and be strong for their sakes. He is an extremely loyal person, and will literally never leave anyone behind. He's just incapable of it, and he would do literally anything for the people he loves.

Quince also has a bit of a whimsical streak about him. Sometimes, you'll just see him staring off into space, and he's literally just sitting there daydreaming. He actually considers this a little bit of a talent of his because Quince's ability to get lost in his own little world is rivaled by very few. Quince has a very 4-D personality in general, past his first wall of positiveness, and so it can be a little hard to describe and fully encompass his entire personality in one good. -This boi is RICH AF. His father owns several major casinos in Vegas, which is how he built his fortune, but he also is now into commercial real estate investing, buying and flipping properties and whatnot. And when his father retires THIS BOI IS INHERITING LITERALLY MILLIONS OF DOLLARS.

-He doesn't really tell people he's rich though, because he really hates bragging and doesn't want people to feel bad. However, if you're in a tight spot financially, don't be surprised if he offers you some level of money without really saying where it came from.

Graphite I gotchu. Got me a prophecy already written and not even gonna lie I am so freaking proud of it. Y'all just don't know what it is yet.

GUYSSSSSSSSSSSS! I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY!!! So, tomorrow, I am going to be having surgery and stuff (nobody freak, I am just having wisdom teeth removed, haha!) but this is my first time ever having surgery. Like, ever. So, I don't really know how affected I will be by the sleepy-time drugs, which means I don't really know when I'll be getting on tomorrow? My surgery is in the early morning and whatnot, so hopefully it wears off pretty quickly? I dunno, I'm not worried about pain though, I have a very high pain tolerance so that will be fine, and my boss is actually making me stay home all week from work so I will literally have nothing better to do than sit on here/watch B-films/sleep. I just wanted to let you guys know that if I get on at a weird time tomorrow, that is why!
