The fire caught the log. It was surroded in bright hot flames. Swiftpaw leaped onto of Ivypaw to save her. The log collapsed on him. It singed his think pelt. He yowled and saw and escape. An opening! He gasped. He look at Ivypaw "Run out the gap" He pleaded.

"Thank you so much" She purred. The old deputy, Moonwing had died of white cough. It spread through the clan like a wild fire. But Moonwing was the only one who died.

Stormstar watched Flareflash. "Gaurding camp, Eh" He meowed.

Swiftpaw pushed over the log. His pelt stung. "Take Ivypaw to the river, make sure it doest touch you. Go deep if you have to" He yelled over the flames. He ran like the wind to camp. "There a FIRE" He screeched.

"Well....." She paused "Do what your heart tells you is best" She purred. The grass that littered the forest floor swayed. "I will always do what my heart tells me is best, Unlike Bluewater" She meowed.

"StormClan is thriving" He purred. He licked her cheek.

Stormstar hear a twinge crack, Very suspiciously. He looked around.

Swiftpaw raced into the flames. He dragged out Lostsoul. He placed him by the river. That was Suicide He thought. He rolled Lostsoul into the water, Then he dragged him out. He picked the ash out of Lostsoul fur.

A huge black tom lunged at Stormstar.

Swiftpaw gave him water. "Don't worry" He meowed.

"Okay" He croaked. "But you won't die, And you know it" He coughed. Then he began to cough more violently. He fell to the ground coughing.

Stormstar struggled. The tom slashed him.

Swiftpaw began to cough more and more. Smoke came from his throught. He threw up ash. He looked at Ivypaw "Thank......You" He wheezed. He coughed more. The med cat apprentice brought them honey "Its good for the throught" She meowed. Swiftpaw obeyed.

Skyfern lay down in the hot sun. Bluewater had left camp to hunt.

The tom hissed and ran away. "What just happened" He panted.

Swiftpaw looked at Ivypaw "Are..are you okay?" he asked her. His eyes were dull with pain. He croaked.

Skyfern looked around camp. She got up and padded out of camp. She looked around the forest. Her eyes were sad. She longed to hunt. "Huh" She sighed.
