Tangleclaw meowed "We have to warn the Clan!"

Icestorm and Dreamsong left behind Scarfur. Elfpaw and Gracepaw took Featherpaw and Swiftpaw to the Appprentices den. Cloverstar searched for Tigerpaw so they could train.

Pandapaw, Angelpaw and Vibesong left camp with Spiritpaw on the Hunting patrol. "Me and Angelpaw will go this way, Spiritpaw and Pandapaw, you two go that way together." Vibesong meowed. Mother and Daughter exchanged amused glances and left. Pandapaw went to Spiritpaw and meowed "Let's go that way."

Dawnlight and Shademask appeared from the warriors den, and Shiverpaw came out of the Apprentices den, following his mentor, Duskshadow.

Pandapaw cringed. "Follow me," he meowed. He headed towards a sunny glade, staying close to Spiritpaw's side.

Dawnpaw gingerly touched her nose to Speckledleaf, embarassed that she had forgotten.

"Oh,very funny Nightwhisper." she meowed. She then told the clan, "I am told that in the forest, Nightwhisper and Silverwing were attacked by assassins. She looked down to Nightwhisper and meowed "Tell us what you know about the attack, and about the assassins."

Dreamsong and Icestorm followed Scarfur's example and dropped the prey on the fresh-kill pile.
Dawnpaw leaped over to Speckledleaf. "What are we going to learn?"

Eaglewing nodded. "She's your apprentice. Planning to hand her over to me, are you?" He meowed as he stood. "Come on then. :et's not waste time."

"Phew!" mewed Indigokit. "That was close!"
"What was close?" mewed Leopardflower as she came into the nursery.
"Oh, nothing!" Indigokit said hurriedly.
Leopardflower looked at her kits and smiled. "Good. Now get some sleep." She lay down in her nest in the nursery.
Indigokit whispered to Cloudkit "Tomorrow morning, let's go to the Twolegplace."

Tigerleaf went over to the medicine cat den. "Stormbrewing?" he mewed weakly. He collapsed, just outside the entrance. He looked up, and thought "I'm coming." Then, with a sigh, he meowed with his last breath. "Starclan"
