Flint glared at him and sighed. "I must go anyway." he said darkly. He padded away.
Embergaze ran out from behind Foxember. "Just go! Stop taking your time, mouse-brain!" she called after him.

"I don't know, and don't care. As long as he is not near me, I'm fine" she growled. Embergaze sighed and looked at Foxember. "Ready to go back to camp?" she meowed.

Embergaze's tail still was twitching with annoyance. She began padding toward the way to camp.

"I'm alright." she sighed, starting to walk a little fast knowing that she was closer to camp.

"If he didn't admit he was a miserable jerk, I doubt he was right about anything." she meowed. What is he getting at? Embergaze wondered.

Embergaze looked up and saw the camp. She frowned, she knew after she got to camp that she would have a harder time telling Foxember how she felt. She opened her mouth to say something, but closed it again.

"Foxember..." she meowed.

"I wanted to say....that you are good at standing up for your friends..." Embergaze sighed, that is not what she wanted to say.

"You really didn't have to do that, he is my brother after all so I know how to deal with him." she meowed.

"Thank you Foxember, that is really sweet of you." Embergaze meowed. She continued walking back to camp.

"Finally I can rest." Embergaze meowed, running toward the warrior's den to sleep.

"Kay." Embergaze yawned and layed on her stomach.

Embergaze stood silently at the warrior den entrance. She seemed lost in her thoughts.

"Yeah." she said quietly. She still stared out the entrance blankly, as if she was daydreaming.

"It's okay, I'm listening." Embergaze sighed, looking toward him.

"I...uh..." Embergaze was speechless, she didn't expect him to love her back. She then smiled, "Y-yes." she meowed.

Embergaze purred and nuzzled him back.
