" My name is Ethyl. My .. um .. mother just left a few moments ago. " Ethyl said nervously, wetting her lips and wringing her hands. Then her slight, elfish face drew forward towards the door nervously. Ethyl wanted to hide the fact that her mother had been drunk, hitting her on the arms til purplish bruises showed. To hide the bruises, Ethyl wore a dark crimson flong-sleeved flaring shirt. " What can I do for you? " Ethyl wet her lips again, her blue-gray eyes now nervously glinting in the sunlight.

" Homeland? " Ethyl breathed quietly, strawberry blonde hair glinting red as one slender arm reached forward to slowly take the envelope from him. As she carefully ran her fingers over the seal, Ethyl was sure her expression was confused, but as curious as she was, she stepped forward to look curiously at the guy. Who was he? " If it is time for me to come home to my... homeland as you should say, I will come. " Ethyl said in a firm, bell-like decisive tone.
-
The corners of Ethyl's lips tilted in a slight smile at Ithil, who declared he was keeper of time and summoner of spirits. " Do I remember any of my homeland? No, I do not, but I do remember my father was.. the king. " Ethyl said quietly, still slightly smiling. " If you wanna leave, let's go. I've been dying to get away from this hellhole for years. " Ethyl said softly, pulling the door open and this time shutting it quietly behind her.
-
Ethyl thought for a moment. " Nah. I'll live without the books. I can always get new clothes as well. " Ethyl chimed, and blushed serenely at Ithil's request. " Um.. Okay. " Ethyl, for some reason throughout her life, had grown deathly afraid of horses, and even now she was plenty terrified.
-
Immediately, with speed that said more skill than grace, Ethyl grasped his hand, then the other horses' mane. Swinging herself on top of the stallion, the horse reared, then took off. " Heee yaa~~ " Ethyl yelled, " Let's get 'em cowboy! " Even as deathly scared she was, Ethyl had a lot of training on horses, so she was pretty adept. Turning herself so she faced the stallions' behind, Ethyl snatched a carefully carved bow and a quiver of arrows off of the bushes next to her. Swinging the quiver on to her back, Ethyl grasped an arrow immediately and let it go at the nearest goblin. A thud on the ground told Ethyl the goblin fell. " Yeeeee, haww~ " Ethyl shrieked, and rapidly turned herself back around on the horse. " C'mon Ithil~ "
-
Ethyl nodded without complaint, then shot down a few more goblins. " C'mon boy~ To the elven kingdom! " Ethyl let out a long, drawn whoop, then it disappeared as the stallion shot off into the forest at a very fast, and surprisingly light, gallop.
[ sorry, i'm very lazy because i'm really tired. ]

(Can I help ya?)
Ethyl had stopped for the night, to let the horse rest, and drink. Then the horse laid down into a deep sleep, and by then, so did Ethyl, sleeping back to back with the horse.
[sorry nothing else i can think of ]

(I'll play as her father for now ^.^)
The king dashed through the forest to find Royal Guard number 1: Ithil. Ithil was the king's best guard, and the king didn't want any of his guard's hurt. Soon, he came across some blood splatters. He studied them, then the king dashed off, trailing the blood.
-
By the time Ithil had passed out for the second or third time, the king was arguing with the door to let him in. " Let me in. " " Noooo. " " Let me in, or I'll kick you in. " " Nooooooo. " The door seemed to be enjoying this game, so he stepped forward, did a little enchantment to shut the door up, and the door glared at him " Now let me in. " The king growled, and the door swung open.
" Ithil? Ithil! " he called, running over to his guard when he saw him in a cage just going in the jail chamber. Pulling the cloak over his head, he disappeared into the jail chamber.
[i'm going to bed. i'm practically the walking dead. XDD]

the elf king stared the goblin king down, his eyes icy. " I'm in here to get my guard back. He was getting my daughter to where she belongs. " he scoffed, and tugged quickly on the chains that held Ithil. " Let him go. "
Ethyl was on her way to her homeplace, currently being trailed by a dragon in the sky. Cursing, she sped forward on Lankil, the stallion she decided to name. " C'mon boy~ Hurry up! "
-
The king could feel himself pale immediately when Marak ordered him to give him a female elf in return. " I -- I guess you could have .. have Ethyl, my daughter.. " he stammered, fearful of what Marak would say.
---
Ethyl had reached the elf kingdom by the time it was midnight, and the dragon had disappeared. The elf princess felt very weird, like she didn't belong. Ethyl took a few tentative steps out of the high elf camp, but immediately, she felt something was wrong. The plants tried to warn her, then everything went black.

The king was outraged, and he attempted to bowl Marak over, then pull out the knife in Ithil's chest. Speaking several healing words, tears formed in his eyes as he cloaked them both, hopping on to a spirit horse and dashing away.
~~
Ethyl gasped as she awoke in a cage-like room, her body tense and aching with pain. " Wh - where am I?! " Ethyl cried out, gasping when her rib cage continued to hurt.
-
No prob<3
I like it. -
" Ithil! Ithil, talk. Don't die on me. Heal yourself. Ithil listen. Ithil. " The king was extremely worried for his best guard; he was pretty upset too that his daughter had been taken before he agreed to giving his daughter to Marak.
-
OOC: lololol The king's been in the jail chambers, Ethyl outside. XDD
You're backwards. XDD
But now Ethyl is in the jail chambers, on the other side.
King doesn't know. xDD -
The king gently took out a large cloth and wrapped it snugly around Ithil's chest. " It's your king, Ithil. " his voice was barely audible as he spoke. " Can you try to heal yourself? "
--
Ethyl was in chains, and now she was crying steadily. Who was out there? Her father? Ithil? The Goblin King, Marak? " Is somebody out there? Help! " she called, voice thick from crying.
-
OOC: Just the first. It's what made me crazy about the Hollow Kingdom<3
IC: The king just looked pained at Ithil. " Your wish is my command, Ithil. " he said gently, and stared in amazement at the spirit who went to find his missed daughter, Ethyl. Ithil never ceased to amaze the king.
--
Ethyl was coughing by the time she could sense the spirit near her. Ithil! Ithil sent the spirit. The spirit got rid of the chains, and she nearly hugged the spirit tightly. " Lead me to Ithil and Father! " she said quietly.
-
Ethyl and the king looked at each other fearfully, before tending to Ithil. The king murmured a few words, and made a few signs with his hands, as if trying to heal Ithil to being better. Ethyl, having no physical contact to the plants before, tried to connect to them to form a dome around them so Ithil could heal and get better.
Frantically, they both worried over Ithil, Ethyl redressing Ithil's cloth bandage around his chest.
-
The king had began to bicker with the elf warrior party as Ethyl bent over Ithil and lightly kissed the guard on the lips. Hopefully.. if he got better, they could get married, and have a small family? Ethyl looked pleadingly at her father, who wasn't paying attention to Ithil much as he bantered back and forth with the warriors. Ethyl rolled her eyes and turned her attention to the mortally wounded Ithil again.
( Yup )
