" I stick out like blossom in a brown mud puddle!" Flya mewed in quiet dispair.
Her calico pelt had large white section that did, indeed, stick out,
And to make it worse, the black and red patches also made it hard.
Oh, well.
One of those kits are mine!

A swift nod was the reply from the fox-speaking calico.
Only seconds did it take for the calico to realise that there was an aliigator in the nusery.
She leapt back in suprise before realising.
Goodness, these clans really are accepting of other species.
Disbelief flooded her senses, making her unaware of the black smoke.
-
" Hmmm, "
The simple answer was Flya, Thinking it was a clanmate.
The calico hadn't slept in a while and her senses were less than sharp.
The Bone let her amber eyes drift around the sky...
Only Hydra knew about her phobia.
So far." No, it couldn't be... "
Within seconds her eyes glittered in fear.
The she-cat's chiroptophobia was setting in.
Thrusting her head into her paws so that she couldn't see the creature she opened her mouth to speak.
" H-H-Hello," -
"Greetings,"
The calico gave a small nod to Icefang.
Flya was recovering for lost sleep by relaxing.
Later she would go on a small border patrol but, secretly, she hoped it would be a peaceful patrol.
But first things first, relaxing to gather her energy.
Still, she saw no harm in making new friends and figuring thier pros and cons in battles. If they were loyal she would help cover up thier cons and weaknesses.
But it was a fat chance of that happening. -
" Nice to meet you. I'm Flya. "
The calico let her eyes burn with curiosity while she studied the she-cat.
The fox-speaking she-cat didn't reconize the other cat.
If she was born in the clan then she had no reason for her not to know the cat but if stolent or if she had schosen to join then it was understandable. -
Flya took a deep breath before regaining her posture.
" No, nothings wrong." The calico lied.
Oh, Flya.
You and your twisted tongue, a skilled lair, but only for the best reasons.
Glancing at the Hazeleyes and then to her kit, Flya's eyes lit up in delight. This was the first time she had seen one of the lengedary kits in the litter.
Who would of thought?Forcing her thoughts to turn from the kit to the bat. Flya placed her phobia to the back of her mind.
" Any reason why?" -
Ahh, kits.
Wait are they...Flya instantly registered that the apperance of the torbie was similar to some cat she knew.
She just couldn't pinpoint it.
The urge to ask was strong but she eventually resisted it.
However, Flya sat there and watched instead.
The calico hadn't really communicated with others since her sisters kits had been born.
Now was the perfect time to re-adjust to the other cats and have an amusing time.
Killing two birds with one stone or two for the price of one? -
" Not without a supervisor your not, "
Flya quickly answered Rose's question although it was not directed at her.
Then, turning to Austere, the calico dipped her head in a curt nod.
" Greetings. "
A short reply but who needed a long one?
This kit, the torbie, reminded her of someone and the thought kept on swirling round her head.
Who was the kit related to?
It was certainly Boneclan born and not stolen.
AS for the other kit, Rose, Flya had no idea what so ever. -
" I'm perfectly sure you will."
The calico smiled at the kits enthusiam.
It was good that Boneclan had cats willing to serve it with the increasing rebellions.
The tom was in good condition and his leg would heal to Flya skipped to a conculsion.
Cosentino would make a satisfactory Skeleton, she persumed.
Noglistia hit her like a comet, Flya rembered when she had became a skeleton...
Flya had been as calm and cool as a cucumber.
Her sister had told her afterwards that a cat could easily mistake Flya's emotions for not wanting to become a skeleton.
The memory bought a subtle shine to her eyes. -
" Your attitude is great, your more likely to have a good, skilled mentor if you show a determined attitude."The calico winked and a smile grew on her face.
Flya stiffled a chuckle.
The kit was an asset to the clan by the looks of things.
" And, besides, your fight for acceptance seemed to be sucsesfull, eventhough there were consequences." -
The calico had wandered away fro the rest of the patrol to find peace, her family was a fine family but they sure were annoying. At first, Flya's dark amber eyes missed the small shape on the ground but she certainly hadn't missed the scream, though she may be near kitting, Flya still had ears as sharp as a timid squirrel.
" Oh, great Kiami!" The she-cat gave a shriek and, as fast as her paws could carry her, ran to the poor kit. Flya wasn't really in the mood to start thinking of the possibilities on why the kit had come to this.
" Kairi? " Flya gasped once more but not in shock, one of her paws had just came in contact with the blood.
The suprised calico turned her brain upside down for any trace of knowledge for herbs and came across two: the well-known cobweb and the slightly less known Horsetail.
One of the plants was present only a few paces away and, sadly, its life was ended by a sharp, frantic tug from Flya who was still confused but desprate to save the kit from the dark dephs of death.
Gently, as soft as she could, Flya tried to apply the Horsetail to the neck wound while mutteriung the kits name over and over again. -
" Mana? Oh, Kiami, Mana!"
The calico's fur bushed up in sheer horror. Not another death.
Although Flya hadn't known Mna well, she was actually quite fond of the tabby.
Glancing behind her, Flya raced forward trying to avoid tripping on anything.
She wasn't a Herb or have any knowledge on the medicne they used but she would do all in her power to save him. While hoping it was going to be any use at all- the tom was in a bad shape.Amber eyes alight in sorrow, the she-cat leant over him and dropped her voice to a whisper. " Mana, it's me, Flya. I know your ill but..." She broke off. But what? What could she say to him?
-
" Rough day? "
The soft mew of the calico was clearly thick with sorrow.
She's just saw Mana beggining to die and now it was being replayed over and over again. Like a vidio player but without a pause button.
Glancing at Preppy the calico gave a weak amile but sighed. The sigh made most of her emotions clear.
She's had to stay strong in front of her kits but as soon as they were gone, the calico had crept of to think about it. -
" I agree, this bitter cold seems to be the most bitter I've felt for a long time."
The Bone gave a small chuckle as she rememberd the time when she went venturing out on patrold without a care that it might rain and have to be near the camp ready to run to a more sheltered place." So, you made many changes with the ranks but I'm wondering why? If you don't mind me asking, of course."
-
Flya joined the two Omens and nodded to both as a sign of greeting.
It was a pleasent day, not unusually cold or warm but it was a nice day.
The calico smiled and her eyes brightened as she'd missed the first half of the conversasion, if you could call someone cursing and an Omen asking something. Then, she saw the fustration in her friends eyes and stopped.
She didn't echo Faithsong's question but waited for the Maine Coon to answer. -

Flya glanced up from where she was lying, a small smile spread across her face.
She considered the Boneclan she-cat as an adopted daughter as when the calico was still a loner, she had met Starburst as a kitten. The she-cat was still learning the ways of Boneclan and had made a vow to help her in anyway she could.
" Greetings, Starburst. " -
" F**king hell!"
The calico wasn't one to curse but in this one occasion I think she would be allowed.
Flya raced up to the scene where the golden tom lay, blood pooling around him.
If Hysteria died then what would happen to the clan? With no deputy would one of the Herbs have to take control?
Stop it! Flya's thoughts were brought to an end when she scolded herself for thinking the worst.
There was a trained cat so there was a chance that Hysertia would live. -
A soft chuckle sounded from nearby, her bright amber eyes had a happy glint inside them. However, if you looked closer, you could see there was a different emotion contained within them and they were focused on her kit.
The calico had saw what had happened but chose not to say anything yet. It might have been a kit just getting to involved in a fight and his insticts running wild. It couldn't be what she thought it could be. It had to be impossible. Flya had kept it at bay for so long but genetics still had power. The calico would ask Zinc about it later, at a more private time.

Flya frowned slightly before responding, " Yes, Sweetheart, what is it?"
The calico's mind had already began to race and her body became stiff and even a little tense.
Hmmm, a single word, { if you can even call it that} circled around her head. Zinc was always a little different from his siblings. Cosmic and him were the two black sheep of the litter but each in thier own seperate ways: Cosmic was mute and Zinc... Well, maybe her worst fears about her over-sized kit were about to come true.
Maybe. -
Flya purred as her son 'attacked' her and quickly ducked her head as his paws flashed past.
" Multiple personality disorder, yes, dear I have it. However, I think it is possible that you could have inherited aswell. "
The calico said no more as for the rest of this conversation, she wanted to speak it in privacy. Certainly not in front of his friends.
It was nice that he was becoming friends with some of the other clanmates and kits around the camp.
