OOC: You guys know that each of your charries enter with one weapon, right? The weapon you got is listed next to your name on the tribute list.
IC: I scanned the contents inside the cornucopia. I saw a few backpacks laying on the side, and a lot of food packs in the far back of the cornucopia. There was no way I could get one, I would die trying. Then something shimmered in the darkness of the metal shape. I focused, and I made out a bow and a sheath, but no arrows. My eyes were frantically searching for the arrows rumored to be laced with poison. None in sight.
OOC: Does anyone wanna be allies with Wren a little bit into the games??
-
ooc: yayy!! lol
-
ooc: i am so excited!!!
ic: I watched the clock, 25, 24, 23, 22... I glanced around at the other tributes. They all looked as anxious as me. I noticed that a lot of people chose bows as their weapon as well. 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9...
-
ooc: Stormwolfe, do you mean Kale, not Ryan??
ic: 5, 4, 3, 2... This was it, the start of the games. I kept my eyes on the food pack closest to the edge of the cornucopia's metal. It should be pretty easy to get.
-
ooc: lol i do that sometimes too
ic: 1!!! I was off like a shot. Keep your eyes on the prize, eyes on the prize, eyes on the prize...

I ducked and rolled as the boy from 6 swung his sword at me. I pulled out an arrow and stuck it through his chest. I quickly grabbed the food pack, but stalled, searching for those titanium arrows. I turned around, and there was a small group of careers coming towards me. I crawled behind a large box and I almost screamed when I felt something pierce me in the toe.
ooc: who should get the titanium arrows? i was thinking i could take a few and leave the rest, so as not to be greedy?
-
ooc: ok, for now I'll just grab the arrows from one of the regular sheaths. but i could use a few poisonous arrows ;)
ic: The boy from 13, Kale was it? caught my eye. I stopped for a moment, only to take off running for the jungle a second later.
-
I started climbing the highest tree in sight, so I could get a better view of the scene at the cornucopia. I immediately spotted a large pack of careers close the the edge of the jungle. The girl from 4 looked as if she had saw me and knew where I was. Hopefully, the careers won't come after me...
-
The boy from 4 went up to the girl from his district, and I frowned. It might be dangerous to approach her when the careers were there.
-
I opened my backpack to find 1 water bottle, 4 apples, 2 food packs, and 1 sleeping bag. I glanced back at the cornucopia to see that the area was clearing up. Everyone was gone except the careers. I thought maybe I could go back to see if anything was left later on...
-
I secured my backpack to the tree and went around the back of the cornucopia.
-
ooc: yes, they have 2 pockets i believe.
ic: i saw a few things left, but not much.
ooc: gotta go to bed, don't do too much without me :)
-
ooc: i am back, doin this on my ipod secretly ;)
ic: i stepped on a twig, an thougt "d@$!"
I glanced at the careers. I saw Aero scanning the cornucopia. I moved closer the the front so I could sneak in. -
ooc: did my last post show up??
ic: i was surprised to see a lot of food packs still here. i glanced to where aero had gotten the arrows, and saw something lodged into a box. it was 3 arrows! she mustve left a few or dropped them when she left. its not much but its better than nothing...
