"You really mean it?" He said, suprised any girl would want to go anywhere with him. "There's this new pizza place in town. Dinner would be on me. Is tomorrow okay?"

He was suprised at himself when he realized that he didn't like Skylar being mad at him. After he finished his lunch, a bag of chips, he headed back to her table. "Can I talk to you for a second? Alone?" he said looking first at her, then at her friends.

"Okay!" he smiled broadly amd began to dig into his food.

"It's really good!" he told her mom.

"Look, I'm sorry I don't know why I'm being a jerk. Can you forgive me?" asked ending his apology with a smile.

Liam looked at Torri and grinned. "Do you think they would notice if we ate somewhere else? This conversation is a liitle dry." He whispered as the adults spoke of stock markets.

"Great!" Emma said. "Fireworks are awesome!"

"Thanks. So I was wondering if you wanted to hang out sometime this week" he asked her, being uncharacteristily shy.

"Okay. Well, where do you wanna go?" he asked her, cheering to himself.

"Alright! Well we should probably sit down, it looks like the teacher is coming in." He said, glowing with happiness.

"Fine!" Elizabeth said and stalked away. She was going to go, it she didn't like it.

Emma watched the fireworks intently. They were great. Colorful and bright, exploding high in the air. It took her breath away.

"Cool, do you wanna go outside? The stars are really pretty tonight, and it not too cold." Liam asked her.

Rainsong sat down, humming the Christmas carols and watched cats dance.

Sighing, Ash plopped to the ground and pilled out his sketchbook. He started to sketch the lilies.

Ash looked at her majesty. Quietly he asked her "Your Majesty, would it be okay if I drew you?"

Liam grabbed his plate amd whispered, "Do you have a quilt or something we can sit on?"

In her next class, all she could think about was that night. Should I bring like a cross or something? Don't those ward them off? Or maybe garlic. she found herself thinking, then she wouldb chide herself for being so childish and would start to doodle on her test. The teacjer looked at jer funmy when sye turned it in, ot was covered in fangs and crosses and bats.

She appeared to not have heard him so he turned to sketch one of the fountains.
