Dirk sighed a little as he rubbed his freezing hands together. He smiled a little as he finished his spell, a simple one that createda minature black horse made of smoke that ran through the air. It was only the size of his hand, but it moved gracefully and the smoke trailed behind it nicely.
-
Kris laid her down on the bed in the nurse's office who immediately started checking up on Hazel. Kyle watched worridly. The paramedics would be there soon, but still.
-
Dirk complained to himself as he started to work on another spell, kne that could look into the past, show half-forgotten memories.
-
Dirk finished the spell and looked into the little bowl of enchanted water. He gasped as he saw a memory he hadn't thought about in a long while. It was before everything happened, when his family was still whole. He and his little brother, Remy, were playing on the jungle gym, and his parents sat on the bench, the ever-loving parents. His mother stood up and ran over to them just as Remy fell. Smiling, she caught him and stuck up there. It was one of the few times her power came in handy. A tear slid down his cheek as the memory finished.
-
Dirk sighed and slammed the book shut, after he made the water and bowl disapear. Je stood up and headed towards the door, passing by an upset Storm. "You alright?" He asked, suprising himself. Maybe it was because he was so vulnerable after seeing that memory again, but he felt the urge to comfort her.
-
Dirk shrugged to himself and sighed. He headed to his room, grateful that he was out of class. Drilling his books on his bed, Dirk sat next to the open window and looked outside, sighing.
-
Kris quickly wheeled it over and help ed the nurse plug itup .

After trying on a few dresses, including a ghastly few and several that looked more like shifts then dresses, Harley found one. She paid and Zeke and she heard towards the park, where she was going to chill it until time to get ready.
-
Dirk saw the invation, but ignored. He was in no mood to be surronded by loud, obnoxious kids. Instead, he slipped on a larger jacket and headed towards the woods. He hoped he could have a peaceful walk, with nobody to bother him.
-
Dirk hummed to himself quietly as he looked at the trees along the oathway. He walked peacefully, enjoying the soft crunching sound of leaves under his feet.
-
Kris smiled, still concerned. "It's no problem."
::Is she okay?:: Tantris asked.
::Yeah.:: He answered, pushing his hair back with his hand. -
Kris turned around. "Oh, yeah. She's okay. And thanks." He said, thankful he didn't hve to try and remember.
-
Dirk stopped as he saw someone painting up ahead. Sighing, he debate on passing by or turning around. He finally decided to go around, hopefully avoiding whoever was up ahead.
-
As he passed by, the painting caught his eye. "Pretty dark." He thought, not realizing he'd spoken out loud.
