One of the pack males looked up with his dark gold eyes to see that Swan had come back, and acknowledged this with a wag of his bushy gray tail, but otherwise stayed silent. Never much one for talking unless someone else initiated the situation, Storm Call just gave her a small smile. He had been interested in her for a while now, though he had doubts that she felt the same way about him. Still, though, he had hopes. Winter was here now, and with it the season of mating, he had a reason to hope.

History: Theres a reason they call him phantom, this dog was hard for the dogcatcher to actually catch. One day though he was trapped, quite unfairly to hear him tell it, and that was it. His time to go into that "back room" is coming up soon, so he's desperate to escape. As for his life before the shelter, he's been pretty quiet about that. In fact theres always been an air of mystery around the guy.

((Ya'll please bear with me, I've had a horrible time lately. My husband and I are in the middle of moving again, and some strange sickness came over my cats and we lost 3 in two weeks, one of which I have had for 7 years and I'm still distraught. The vet was stupid and said he though she had rabies just because she growled at him when he gave her a shot, she had no other symptoms and even ate and drank an hour before she died. He actually came to my house after I buried her and tried to get me to dig her up, cut off her head, and give it to him so he could test her for rabies. We ended up having to call the cops to get him to leave and the whole thing was horrible and traumatic. This was last month and I'm still grieving, and we're trying to move now into our own place so its a lot of stress but please bear with me, I just ask that you dont let this thread lock itself please lol ))

I know, and the sad thing was I've been to them before and everything was good. I wasnt completely happy with the service, and the place seemed pretty dirty for a vets office, but my pets were healthy. Now this. I'm never going to them again, and you can believe I'm going to talk other people out of going there too

((Thanks for keeping this active guys, I'm feeling a little better, though my heart still hurts. Thank you Rave :) The vet I went to was called Powell and Perry, the other one I went to that killed my dog last year ( they OD'd him on Benedryl.....and then was like "Oops, oh well" ) was called Bryerview. Im going to the vets in the next town over from now on. Yeah I gotta travel 30 miles away but if the vets know what they are doing its worth it. I've finished moving, but my husband recently lost his job ( he works construction, and the job finished the building they were working on, they were moving on to another job site about 2 hours away from where we live. Our truck is a 95 Ford F150 and a little too old and the gas mileage sucks too much to travel like that every day, so he was unable to follow) So he's looking for a new job, but in the meantime we dont have tv or internet because we dont have the money to spend on it right now. That and we're having trouble finding an affordable internet service that reaches out to where we moved lol. We moved out into the country, about 10 minutes away from town. I love it, and love the house, but that is a bit of a pain in the butt lol. So if anyone has any ideas, please let me know :) Right now, my husband and I are visiting his family and they have internet but we're heading back home on monday so I wont have it after that for a little while. I'm gonna try to head to one of the free wifi places in town to catch up every now and then though, so please bear with me. Goodness I get tired of asking for that ))
