When he's drunk, the world ends.
(I don't own the pic, I'll take it down if anyone's annoyed).

Everything's screwed. Global warming overdid itself, and now the world is ruined. Everything is still realistic, though. Just countries trekking through debris, which resembles bomb wreckage. Various nuclear power plants have broken down, leaving more than one patch of land uninhabitable for an unknown amount of centuries, Pripyat is not alone in it now. Cities have fallen, and most of the Earth's population are dead. Obviously there are enough people for countries to carry on existing. There are various countries that are not really affected by this, mainly permanently neutral ones like Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
So what happened was, these guys figured that if the personifications of the countries cooperate, the problem may be solved. If you have an idea for it, put it in the "other" section in your form, if you bother to fill one out.

Made short, the setting is a bit of wrecked buildings, which exact details will come out in the RP.

    No OCs.
It's semi-advanced, includes full grammar and posts with more than three lines. Try not to die with it.
Stay in character, I've seen people RP weirder.
Spamming is annoying, and when I am annoyed by someone, I might just ban them.
Keep it realistic, random mutants will not appear out of thin air. Your character may die once and once only.
    2 characters per person.
Yaoi/Yuri is allowed, you are warned. Gore and censored out swears are allowed too.

    Character name: Basch Zwingli
    Country: Switzerland
    Gender: M.
Injuries, if any: Colour blind to shades of pink/violet/red after something happened to the watch-manfacturing business.
Country's current status: Major economy crisis, seeing that it generally collapsed. Some of the population have died of famine, and the rest are very paranoid. Otherwise, life still carries on, besides that a lot of companies that manufacture stuff to be shipped to the rest of the world have fell, because there is not enough demand, seeing that a lot of the customers died out. Is still helping out Liechtenstein.

"I suggest you tell him." Japan believes that he is helping the girl here. He still can not look at her, so he stared at the floor. "Sometimes, he turns nasty when information is kept from him."

[font=MS gothic][justify]Macau glanced around the room. People were behaving oddly today, he mused. Canada growled, and a few others appeared to be worried about something. But the smile was not wiped off his face, he rarely expresses any other emotion. He was just enjoying the peace and his Chinese tea, a cup of which he was holding.
Hong Kong must be having a good time savouring the flow of time, too.
He can't see Hong Kong, but assumed his best friend to be somewhere in the area.
He just wish that Portugal will not say anything to him.

Japan fingered his katana. Something have changed inside him, that much he knew. Today he wore the black version of his normally white uniform. He does not know what made him do it. A purple cape hung off his shoulders.
Looking around the room, he can see that Canada must be undergoing something similar. But he remained silent, as he always does, his face clear of expression.

    Did something happen?
Macau have noticed the fact that a few nations are acting weirdly.
Japan is wearing a black uniform. Macau knows that Nanjing especially hates that uniform, because of the massacre that took place at her house was done by Japanese people, some of which wore it. Usually Japan avoids wearing it at world conferences. Is he trying to make some sort of point? Suddenly, it occured to him that if he actually paid some attention to what the others are saying, he might just figure out why Canada and Japan are acting odd.
He sipped in some more tea, this time trying to concentrate.

Japan shuffled his paperwork, scribbled something in a notebook, and laid it on the table. It was as if a voice in his head was telling him to do things.
[i]Why is Norway looking at me?{/i] He thought.

Mafia? The Russian one or the Italian one?
Hetalia made me read history books. After I wrote fanfiction about WWI, I just READ HISTORY FOR FUN. And now I'm top in class. Plus people see me as a total nerd at history, because I like it. Sorta sucks.

The idea of a Hollywood-style disease affecting a group of countries seemed rather unbelievable to Macau. Part of him wanted to suddenly give up his usual calmness and snap something about quitting daydreaming to America. But it sort of makes sense, too. Why else will Japan become like that, and Canada not only noticable, but aggresive? Macau has no idea. Maybe he had too much tea.

He set down his half-empty cup. America appeared to be attempting to counsole Canada. Even though he is leading the world in a lot of things, Macau always found America a little childish, almost stupidly so.

One should not allow their imaginations get out of control... But it is understandable.
The idiots are those that enjoy life most, and you can't blame them.

    Macau stayed silent.

Meanwhile, Japan was trying to find a chance to speak. The silence right now is too uncomfortable for his opinions to be stated. Saying something right now will also cause everybody to stare at him, which he hates.

A small voice whispered in his head. Don't.
It has been there for a while now, and Japan was finding it slightly annoying. The voice appeared in his head one afternoon, when he was admiring the subtle way seasons change. It told him to wear his old black uniform, instead of the white set. He argued that the black uniform will not be seen as friendly to most Pacific-Asian countries. The voice asked him something about others' opinions being worthless. He himself is the only one that matters.
    So he followed the instructions.

Seeing no reason to disagree with this one, Japan did not utter a word.
